This has some good recipes that would definitely help people with meal prep. My only complaint is it needs more pictures.

I really loved this cookbook and it really helped me find some healthy meal prep options instead of sticking to the same meals over and over.

Very easy to follow and great recipes!

First the good stuff:
* Recipes are broken down into easy to find sections
* ingredients are easily accessible (maybe not the brand they suggest. )
* there’s a two week meal plan included at the end.
* There’s suggestions on how to make some recipes vegetarian
* There are instant pot recipes.

Now the ehh part:
* There aren’t enough pictures for my taste.

I received an arc of this title from NetGalley for an honest review. I need and want this book because there are so many recipes that I want to try in here.

I finally have an obsession with cookbooks. I enjoyed this cookbook with easy to follow instructions and recipes everyone will love. I recommend this book to every cook and meal prep beginner . I received a complimentary copy and all opinions expressed are entirely my own.

While many of the recipes are somewhat predictable, this would be an extremely helpful guide for someone who needs to figure out meal planning for their fitness journey and isn't sure where to start.

So this book was a little more on recipes and meal prep than learning about macros. Still the recipes looked good and the ideas the book offered looked promising. I’d definitely recommend this book to people already well versed in the macros universe as need for some great looking recipes. Needed some more pictures definitely. Four stars!

I own Lindsay Boyers first book and love it, so when I heard she's coming out with a new book, I could not wait to get my hands on! And, it did not disappoint!

There are 11 chapters and each chapter has so many great recipes with a specific number of proteins, carbs, and fats to help you to stay with your daily macro, so you can achieve your goals. If you're like me (and most of us) who have a busy lifestyle and feel overwhelmed to stay within your macros, set aside some time to prep and organize to meal prep, so you won't have to think about it for a week or so. This book comes in handy and I can't recommend this book enough. Ingredients are easy to find, some are very specific brand, but I think you can replace it and do a little math to match your macro.

This book is chock full of great macro-friendly recipes. Highly recommend it!

I received this book free from netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

I think with this one it is easier to do pros and cons.

Pros.

The book is simple to read and the recipes are simple to follow along. The beginning that briefly explains macros and even more briefly explains micros is easy to understand. There is a decent selection of recipes and if you eat clean already then there will be plenty to use. It is helpful to get an idea of macro counting with the counts listed for each recipe. All in all it is a good beginnings book to cooking and dieting as far as macro based cooking goes.

Cons.

The beginning is very brief. I understand this is a cookbook but as the beginning gives me a slight impression that it is suppose to be, 'hey welcome to macro cooking,' I think it may be a little too brief. Likewise while the counts listed for each recipe are helpful, the book I feel does not really explain a whole lot as far as how to count, etc. Meaning if someone were completely new to this whole thing they would be lost all over again if they even thought of eating something or cooking something outside of this book. The next note is not a big deal but I'll still mention it. There are not many pictures. There are a few however the way the book is laid out on the e reader I sometimes had trouble figuring out which recipe (the one before or the one after) each picture that was in the book was for. Aside from those few there was just simple plain text recipes. Super easy to follow and really all you need but not exciting. It may not necessarily be a good thing that a lot of people these days will skim or skip cookbooks that are just text but regardless of good or bad thing it is what it is. If you are someone who gets a little bored flipping through pages of just text recipes with no pictures you might not love the majority of this book. Along with that, again if this is introducing people to macro cooking I would think that pictures for every recipe would be better as they would catch and hold attention more? The last not really a con but I'll mention it anyway is that as I mentioned above if you already eat clean you'll be okay with this book, however if you are completely new to eating clean and macro, etc then you might get bored with a lot of these recipes anyway. These are standard simple clean recipes. Theres no real spunk or fun or anything. I eat clean, I have a number of recipes in this book I like. My boyfriend does not really eat clean nor eat 'health food,' but is interested in starting for health and weight lose. There is little to no chance I'd get him to pay attention to this book. Take from that what you will.

It's a decent cook book and has a number of good recipes if you are into this type of cooking. I just dont know if it's too basic and... bland (?) to catch or hold attention of new people. Especially when they can go online and find fun recipes with pictures.

This is a solid collection of meal prep recipes that has lots of variety. Protein and produce are centered and the recipes are nicely scaled for 4-6 portions. Storing and reheating instructions are included. Many of the meals sound very appealing!

I wish there had been more pictures. It wasn't unusual for an entire chapter to only have 2-3 recipe pictures. Also, readers should be aware that many of the recipes call for specialty branded products that cooks may need to hunt down. Nutrition info is provided, but it may need to be double-checked (For example, one recipe for burritos called for an item called only "lavash" and recorded 2 total carbs per serving. That probably means the lavash used was some kind of specialty product, but it's not specified, so readers will need to do their own reality check on the macros for the finished product.). Still, this is a handy resource for inspiration to keep meal prepping fresh and healthful!

Many thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for the opportunity to read and review!

I have tried Keto so many times and have always been successful, well, as long as I could hold out. The strict list of what you can and can’t have and trying to balance it all out was too time consuming for me…not to mention frustrating. I heard people doing Lazy keto, strict keto and IIFYM, but really never learned much more about them all other than I knew I was strict Keto.

This book makes me rethink things and realize that there is never a one size fits all and maybe if it fits my macros, it’s still good. I’m certainly going to give this one a try and am thrilled to have so many meals and recipes provided.
