Like most books from this author this one was an absolute pleasure to read.
It's a well crafted story with great characters.

This short story is a continuation of A Cosy Christmas at Bridget's Bicycle Bakery following Bridget's plans to make her bakery dreams a little more permanent taking her baking out of the home and into her own bakery shop.
Bridget ensures that her plans continue to involve the whole community and utilizes a run-down boarded up bakery in the process too. Whilst doing all of this work Bridget has some concerns about her relationship with Jack but she finds a resolution (no spoilers!).
I have loved all of Alex Brown's books and despite this being the shortest, it still made me smile.

This is the second novella in this heartwarming series about a woman who loses everything only to find a community that comes together to support each other at all times. I love to bake so I always wish that the author would print the recipes at the back of the book. Apart from that I have no complaints about this story and hope to read more about Bridget and the rest of the village.
Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for an ARC of this book

This was a fun sweet story set in beautiful spot and very readable. I loved all of it and look forward to then next in the series! Thanks to netGalley and the publisher. Will recommend!

It is a short story and kinda of introduction to the whole series I truly adore!
And this story is so warm, cute and smell like a freshly baked bread!
Bridget and her bicycle bakery is a great entertainment for me. I love her enthusiasm, hard work, commitment and the way she care about everyone around her.
Slow life, but full of people who deeply think about her and community where no one would ever feel lonely.

I was excited to see there was a sequel to the 1st book which i loved, and it was lovely to be back in Mulberry on Sea. The characters were as warming as ever however this being a short follow up I felt it didn't flow as well as the 1st book and i felt the story was rushed which was a shame. That said i would still recommend and hopefully there will be a longer follow up before too long.

A Summer Holiday at Bridget’s Bicycle Bakery: A Short Story by Alex Brown was great. Loved spending time in Mulberry-on-Sea again and meet up with the characters once more. In this book Bridget decides to reopen an old, abandoned bakery, however things do not go as straight forward as she planned. I loved it.

Fabulous short story following up on the first book in the series. It may be short but it is chock full of sumptuous treats, drama and romance.
Thank you Netgalley

A Quaint Read.
This is a lovely edition to Alex Brown's published works, it brings Bridget closer into the community and strengthens the relationships cultivated in Book 1.
Highly recommend

A lovely summer novella, which takes us back to Bridgette's Bicycle Bakery. As life continues, she decides it's time to expand her bakery, and hopes that get future with Jack is also settled, but doubts start to creep in with both. Will she get her happily ever after? A lovely short, summer read.

This was a very enjoyable short story. Appealing characters and a feel gpod atmosphere. Pleasant read on a very hot afternoon.

A quick read that’s cute and easy.
I enjoyed it and it made me hungry for cakes!
Well written, light hearted

Bridget's mobile bakery is a success, can she now find premises for a bakery shop? An enjoyable short story, perfect holiday reading .

A lovely little follow up to the first book. We know see Bridget trying to open the old bakery in town, but has to take a big risk when no one actually knows who owns it. All the usual characters appear, including the dogs, for a light quick read full of fresh baked treats

I loved my first visit to Bridgets bicycle bakery, and it was great to get back there.
The shortness of this book ledt me wanting more, but getting back to mulberry on sea was as enjoyable as the first time.
I love the characters and the location and really hope we get to go back again soon for another visit and update.

It amazes me just how much can be shared in a short story!
The information we find out is important to Bridget’s life in Mulberry-on-Sea.
Loved spending a short time with the community again, in fact, this story highlights just how important community is 🙂
Bridget can be her own worst enemy …
The scrumptious makes and bakes left my mouth watering. There’s even a recipe for Biscoff croissants if you want to try your hand at baking.
I was left with that warm fuzzy feeling that all was right with the world.
If you haven’t read any of these books, I recommend you start at the beginning with the Carrington’s series.
I’m quite sad this is book 2 of 2. Fingers crossed Alex Brown feels drawn to writing about this world again in the future (although maybe not a gap of 9 years next time though 🙂 )

Lovely visit back. This book was as good as the last one lovely feel good book. Great plot thAy played out well. The book is well written and so easy to read.

This was a short story, the next book in the bicycle bakery series. Bridget decides to take on physical premises and open her own bakery . A very enjoyable, feel good story but felt it deserved a full book
Thank you to Netgalley, Harper Collins, One more Chapter and Alex Brown for letting me read this book in exchange for an honest review

This book is a short novella, a follow up to Christmas at Bridget's Bicycle Bakery. You definitely need to read the previous book. I enjoyed reading this book, even though it is very short. I'm really hoping that there will be more books in this series.
Thank you to Netgalley and the Publisher for my ARC.

Next book in the Bicycle Bakery series. Bridget decides to open her own bakery & nothing goes as planned. A lovely feel good story, but I'm sure it could have been less rushed. I know it's a short story, perhaps more could have been made of the characters & the leading up to the conclusion.
In saying all that, I did enjoy this book.
