Fun and lighthearted and easy to read - but the pacing felt really off on this. We would definitely put it in our libraries if we were given copies, especially with the marketing so spot on and super eye catching, but it isn't one that we'd actively go out to purchase in bulk for a pass out.

Five stars -- self publishing is tough.

Thank you to NetGalley and Stacey Kennedy for the ARC.

I love paranormal romance books and this one was so much fun to read and get into. The plot was great, the characters loveable, and the overall romance was fun!

Thank you netgalley and the publisher for a chance to read this book. It was such a great break from the other books I have been reading for work. I can't wait to see where the series goes. Our patrons are going to love this one!

In this series, and just adored the characters, the plot… just everything.

This was just a good time! Really enjoyed this, fast-paced, great characters and solid banter. I don't tend to pick up vampire books but I knew this one would be a good start.

Recommending this around Halloween!

This was such a fun read. The characters were so unique and likeable, and the dialogue was super funny. It had a great plot and had super fun plot twists. It was also super spicy and I loved the romance scenes. This was an easy, fun read

I absolutely loved this book! The storyline drew me in and the characters were amazing - the atmosphere was truly breathtaking. It was a little predictable but was all around a great book!

I really enjoyed the book at the beginning. I was immediately drawn to the characters and the storyline, but once I got to the middle of the book, I felt like I knew what was going to happen. I felt like it lost its spark for me and that I was no longer drawn to see what happened to Willa and Killian. While it was still a great read, I feel like it just missed the mark for me.

Thank you to NetGalley for providing me with an ARC of What the Fang by Stacey Kennedy. I’ve voluntarily read and reviewed this copy. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

This was such a fun and good read! In What the Fang we meet Willa, a witch who hasn’t come into her powers yet and is living a quiet life running a bookshop in a town run by vampires. One night Willa is attacked and then saves by Killian, the Warden of Charleston. Wanting to learn more about this mysterious attack, Willa and Killian embark on a journey together to figure out who is trying to hurt Willa.

Listen, if you put vampires and witches, great characters, amazing banter and a mysterious attacker all in the same book there is nothing I can do other than devour it in one or two sittings. I’ve enjoyed this book thoroughly from the first page to the end.

I loved the premise. The story is build up really well. The characters are great and have amazing chemistry with each other. The build up and reveal of the mystery element is done really well. Stacey Kennedy’s writing lures you in and keeps you hooked till the end. The ending was very satisfying and plants a few seeds for further installments.

I can’t wait to read more about the adventures that Willa and Killian will go on. Can I have the next book immediately please?!

Short, quick book, which was a nice change of pace from my normally long stories, but man, it was so fast paced! I had a hard time with that!

With just under 200 pages, there’s a lot of story packed into a little bit of paging, making the story difficult to believe. With all the seriousness of the events that happened, it was difficult to imagine this book over a lengthy period of time rather than just a few days or so. But that’s what I imagined!

The premise and idea of the book is what pulled me in, along with the cover and clever/catchy title. Do I regret reading it? Nah. But do I wish it was longer and more developed? Definitely! It would have made it a lot easier to read, grasp, and love!

Thanks for the opportunity!

What an interesting beginning to a new series! Vampires and Witches are real and out to the public after the Vampire Wars. And while the two factions dont trust each other, there is a temporary truce. But when Willa, a magic less witch is attacked by Vampires, there seems to be more happening than meets the eye. When shes rescued by a hunky Vampire, sparks begin to fly. I adored this book!

First and foremost I have got to say I absolutely love the title. I am always a sucker for a good punny title. The characters were funny and unique. I really hope to be able to read the next book. This story is absolutely fantastic and I can't wait to see the growth.

I don’t do this very often, but this is one of those books that before I even finish reading it, I’m searching for a sequel or “books similar to” on Amazon. What the Fang is a quick and easy read, with laughs, steam, and suspense that left me wanting more and excited that the next book comes out soon. I enjoyed the wit and snark between Killian and Willa and look forward to reading more adventures with them.

I was provided an arc for this story and well it wasn't for me.
I think that the idea was great and it had so much potential but overall it was hard for me to fall in love for the characters or like them enough to feel that i was rooting them for them in the end. I skimmed some parts, since the dialogue was not super interesting.

It was a fun read but sort of rushed in terms if the writing (everything happens sooo fast around the but also and at the same time, the plot is kinda slow).

I love how so many things happened in the book. I could not keep myself from the book because it was so good

A quick read as is 200 pages but overall it felt rushed. The premise was interesting but this was in no way a forbidden romance, nobody batted a lash about them being together.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book received from the publisher via NetGalley. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I am absolutely obsessed with all things witchy, fantastical, so this book was a no brainer to pick up. It was cute, romantic and made me smile throughout the entire time I was reading it. The characters were all so cute and it was such a quick read I didn't want to put it down. Absolutely in love with Stacey's writing and the characters she's created in What The Fang?

Super fun! I love a light hearted paranormal romcom. I read this with some friends and we had a blast. A great alternative to what the hex or the ex hex.
