Jess Bradley and Mo O'Hara's Agent Moose: Operation Owl is a fun installment in the Agent Moose series. Great for young readers, it features a fun cast of characters and fun, colorful art. One could also pick up this book without reading the previous installments,.

Another great book in the series of Agent Moose and Agent Owl. the opening gives a lot of information about the characters in a fun way. The pages look like reports and gets the reader interested in who the agents are and what is the new case they are working on. As areas start to flood and agents disappear, the two agents, with the help from others, are ready to solve this latest crime.

A stupendous tale (not tail) of daring doings, comings and goings, and peril--but savings!

Although this is a preview of book 3, it is my distinguished introduction to agents Moose and Owl. I won't say their names here because, you know, secret. Although they call each other by their names in front of everyone, even the evil bad guys. (But that may be why they have so many friends, because yelling "Hey, moose!" gets awkward in the woods.)

Any-hoo (not who), there are nefarious things going on in the Woodlands. Floods! Yes, floods! Water everywhere! And kidnappings, and bird-nappings (when a bird does the napping), and other crimes and stuff! It's like a crime palooza!

Then, thank the writer and illustrator! Agent Moose, Agent Owl, and some friends... By the way, have you seen the little projector the anteater spits out for Madame HQ? So cool, right?!

Oh! The agents, yada, yada, and some friends work together, but before that, wait. There was a building. Okay. Anyway, it was super exciting with a red beard, and Agent Owl does a brilliant job! It was a great book! I'm not sure what's classified right now, but it will be awesome!

I recommend this book for kids (6-9) as the internet says, and on up through adults who enjoy laughs, adventure, crime-solving, well-drawn cartoons and a 128 page book with 10 chapters! It would make a delightful gift!

5/5 Stars

A fantastic story to add to a graphic novel collection in a classroom library. Students will devour this series. I can't believe I haven't heard of it until now...definitely adding it to my library!

I received an electronic ARC from Macmillan Children's Publishing Group through NetGalley.
Agents Moose and Owlfred are back for another exciting adventure. This time the Big Woods has been flooded and no one knows why. Each flood brings a new crime from bank robbing to kidnapping Madam HQ. Readers will love following their adventures and appreciate the craziness along the way. I appreciate Owlfred coming into his own and taking on a solo mission.
O'Hara balances the absurd with enough reality to keep upper elementary readers enthralled. Looking forward to more adventures.

I had never read any of the other Agent Moose books, but I don’t think you have to read the other books to read this book. I enjoyed reading this book and would love to have it in my classroom library. This will be a great book for second grade and up. I can see advanced students in lower grades reading this book, or students who struggle with more advanced reading. This book is easy to read. Although there are a few big words in the book, the book does a nice job of giving students the context of the word. The plot will keep students engaged and wanting to keep reading to see what happened. I’d be happy to have this book in my classroom!

Agent Moose: Operation Owl is a the third graphic novel in this series with Agent Moose, and his sidekick Owlfred. In this latest adventure, areas around town keep getting flooded, and Agent Moose has to find the culprit!

I haven't read either of the previous two, but for this series, that isn't super important. I loved the characters so much here, especially Agent Moose's various disguises! I definitely will go read the first two now. This is a great graphic novel series for kids. and I would recommend!
