This was...interesting? I guess that's the best way to describe it. I didn't really dislike it though, I've read way weirder things. It was just meh. The character's were horrible people but they were well written even thought they sucked. The artwork was fine. It was all just fine. I feel this author was trying to make some commentary on technology and how it gets in the way of really talking to your partner and being present in your relationship. Bleh.

I was intrigued by this title but ultimately it fails to build compelling characters or plot. I'm disappointed in the mild critique of liberalism, and also frustrated that there's no meaningful pushback or even real discussion of the MC's political opinions. The AI component is disconnected and full of unfulfilled potential.

adult graphic fiction (swinging couple in modern polarized political climate have fun with A.I. sex doll)

I thought this book was about videogamers from the cover graphic and was very surprised by the content (!)--but it was an entertaining enough story if you can get past all the toxic political hate (it's been a rough few years and I can't take it lightly just yet) and don't mind all the sex stuff.

I'm not sure why, but this book is just not for me. I think it would have been very poignant in 2015, but just feels dated now.
