I read the first book in American Rivals series but missed book two. Picking up the third. I could tell that I missed things from book two but the story still held up without feeling lost. I definitely think that readers will enjoy this continuation of the series and look forward to book four!

Oh my Goodness! I cannot wait for book four and can only imagine how explosive it will be.

Katherine McGee does it again! American Royals III: Rivals, was such a fun and easy read it took me only two seating to devour this book.

I have enjoyed watching these characters grow and blossom into their very distinct personalities and different roles and this book definitely left me wanting more.

All the dynamics in the book were so fun to read. Katharine truly does it right and it is crazy how I find myself loving and despising a character in just one seating. Wonderful character development and an ability to retain reader's attention.

If you enjoyed books one and two, you are definitely in for a treat!

I love this series! I was excited to see the continuation of all female narrators and some new friendships and enemies among the ladies. I wanted a little more of Beatrice and Teddy's relationship but enjoyed seeing Beatrice as Queen. Nina is more confident and coming into her own in this book and we see a glimmer of a different side of Daphne. The ending left me wanting book 4!

This book was such a great read! I flew through this book in one afternoon because I loved it so much. The main characters were unique and interesting which is something I love in a book. It was a very interesting and fast paced read which made me never become bored. Great book!

This book was so much fun! Yet again another great American Royals novel. While I enjoyed it and the escapism it provided it did read like a "bridge" novel, in that there was a cliff hanger and word of a 4th book. Thank you so much for letting me read and review, I loved it!

Like every other Katharine McGee Royals book, I absolutely devoured this in two sittings and enjoyed every minute of it. The perfect alternate reality where America is a monarchy (sounds fun right!?) and royals descend into the country for a summit. Perfect for an olympic year when the gathering of nations is on everyone's mind, I am so glad McGee decided to write this delicious piece of fiction!

After Majesty I really was left feeling like this story wasn’t done and a lot felt left hanging so I was SO pleased to see this on my radar. I really think this one does it justice and that readers will be pleased. The world was built, the stage was set and this book delivered. I really enjoyed the short chapters and rotating POVs. Like I stated earlier I really think readers will be happy.

Either this is significantly better than the previous installment or my standards are not quite so lofty as they once were. In either case, Rivals was downright enjoyable. Who'd have thought, right?

I screeched with joy when I found out there would be a third AMERICAN ROYALS and loved absolutely everything about this book! So much heart, so many swoons, so much DRAMA!

Let me begin by saying that I really hate reading series books before the series is finished. This book reaffirmed my hatred of doing so. The third installment of the series begins a little slow, but picks up about halfway through. It then attacks the heart with an infuriating cliffhanger! The writing is wonderful as usual, but that ending makes me crazy. I know authors are supposed to build suspense and keep people wanting more, but they should really be considerate of people who are going to have to wait over a year for any sort of answers or resolutions! The characters all grow throughout the book. Beatrice has some learning to do on the world stage, Sam has to weigh the costs of her position, Nina has a somewhat stunted storyline in which she's just caught up in the Washington drama, and Daphne has fleeting moments of seeming tolerable before she doesn't. I wish there had been more Teddy and way less Jeff nonsense in this book, but we can't have everything. Now I will sit and wait for the fourth book with no idea if that will be the conclusion of the series or if I will have to keep riding this rollercoaster forever.

I was so excited to get my hands on the newest installment of the American Royals series. As expected, this book picks up with Bea finding her way as Queen with her hosting a major summit of royals where she meets a group of young royals and get sucked into their world for a bit. Meanwhile Nina and Daphne join forces against someone who is threatening both their futures and their place in Jefferson’s life. I was ready for a Daphne redemption story and I felt like that is where this was going. Sam and Marshall are also facing some pressures on their new relationship as well. While there is a lot going on in this one, I did feel it moved slower than the other two but I am just as invested in this group of young royals as ever and I cannot wait to read more.

This was a really quick read! I started it at night and stayed up to finish. I think it only took about 3 hours! I loved the next installment in this series even though it took me a bit to remember what happened. I wish it would have recapped a little more at the beginning, but as I read the important parts. are back to me. I really love all the characters but I think Sam is my favorite.

Can I have book 4 right now? Please?! I loved this book from start to finish. This series has quickly become one of my favorites. Even though the characters are mostly royalty, they are still very relatable. They still have the same issues with relationships, family, school/work but with additional layers. It all feels very real. I loved getting to read about Nina and Daphne's relationship. They both grew so much throughout the book. I love that Sam is finding her own path in the world. I am very excited for what comes next.

This books in the series ends on a cliffhanger and I can already feel the next book is going to be most important one. I felt all three books were literally just building up for the next one. This book seemed like character building and setting up the whole premise for the endgame.

I liked Beatrice coming to terms on what kind of queen she wants to be and how adorable Sam and Marshall's relationship was. I was a bit bored with Beatrice and her friendship which felt a bit unnecessary. The way Sam decides her future was great but I felt she could have waited a bit longer and been there to help her sister when she needed her the most. I hated the fact that Connor who pulled me into this series is completely out of picture especially as Teddy feels so lukewarm.

I hate Daphne and I just don't want her to be successful in pulling off her biggest scheme, Nina, the heroine I have been waiting for, finally decides she needs to understand Daphne is literally the best part of this book and I can't wait to see how she goes about that. And what is wrong with Jeff? Why is he such an idiot?

Simply put, just can't wait for the next instalment in the series!

I was thrilled to see a third book pop up in the American Royals series. Like so many others, I felt a bit betrayed by the abrupt ending in the second book. And a great thing that comes with another book is more space to develop these characters that I was so desperate to continue to get to know.

I think that character development is an area where this book was really trying to put in the work, and that was obvious with so many of the characters as we continued to learn more about what drove their choices and sometimes awful actions (I’m looking at you Daphne). With such a large, rotating cast, however, not every character got the attention and depth that I feel the story was trying to convey. Some ended up backsliding or stagnant.

The concept of this book is very cool. We begin with new Queen Beatrice figuring out how to chart her own path as a monarch when she is still so young and obviously a fish out of water in this global communities of royals she is pushed into. And as Bea is learning who she is and how to stand up for herself and her country, everyone else is learning to navigate their personal problems from relationships to friendships, questions of race and gender and wealth, and the expectations of family when it comes to newfound adulthood.

While this book is still very much YA, I found it interesting to see how it is beginning to transition into the type of “leaving home” themes that are more apparent in New Adult. I’m excited to see how this series finishes out!

Thanks NetGalley for allowing me to read an advanced copy in exchange for an honest review.

WOW WOW WOW. Okay what a cliff hanger. I am fascinated by the ending. I really enjoyed the bulk of this book. Samantha and Marshall’s relationship doesn’t feel as genuine to me as I hoped but the journey in this book was fantastic. I am so excited for book 4!!!

This book was phenomenal. I loved it just as much as I loved the first two. I read 75% of the book in one sitting because I couldn't put it down. Be forewarned, the end is kind of a cliffhanger, so I really hope we get a book 4 SOON! Omg, I love this series so much. If you liked the first 2 you will love this one also! Easy 5 stars.

I adore this series. I loved that rivals became friends. I loved learning more about daph and nina . I loved sam and Beatrice too. I want the washington girls to succeed. I had a feeling that daph was going to play that way in the end. I loved that nina actually called jeff on his relationship of going back and forth. I liked the new villain of Gabrielle. I can't wait to read the next book the series and I really liked the friendship of nina & daphne.

Thank you to Random House for a gifted copy of this book. All opinions are my own.

I've been fooled. I thought this was the last book of the series but nope ... another cliffhanger ending! Grrrrr!
We got introduced to some new characters, different government structures around the world, and discussed sexism and race in America. While it's fun to see the different perspectives and relationships develop, I definitely have my favorites (ahem Nina). I am looking forward to see how this will all play out!.
