Bob Goff does it again. He once agains winds stories that make you laugh, smile, cry, and connect and makes a lesson out of each of them. His personality spills out in the way he writes and it's almost as if you're having a conversation with a friend.

I don’t think it’s possible for me to dislike anything that Bob Goff writes. His fun-loving personality shines through his writing. Life is full of distractions and we as humans often fall into their trap. This books made me aware of things that are stealing my time and my joy. I highly recommend this book.

Bob Goff takes our daily culture and pressures and distills them down in effort to understand them, process them, work through them and refocus towards the future with less distractions. He has an inherent ability to tell stories that we all can relate to, and then wrap them into a particular discussion point. Overall this is a timely writing in this day of age and rush. I highly recommend.

I just love Bob! His stories are funny & relatable as they point us towards Jesus! In our busy lives, it's so easy to get distracted. These stories remind us of what's important and help guide us to living a more intentional life with less busyness and more love.

There's something that absolutely tickles me about reading a book about being undistracted that is written by a man who has some massive ADHD tendencies - but you have to be a little hot-wired to live as fully in the present as Bob Goff says he does. You have to have a brain that can jump from one thing to the next quickly so that you don't miss it, and yet, you can't miss the first thing, either. That's what I love about this book - it's quick-moving, but poignant so that you get the feeling that you're picking up on big ideas but never staying in one place for too long. It nails you without nailing you down; it sets you free into your own life. It's probably really a 5-star book, but I read it "out of season" for me. That is, it didn't speak quite to where I'm at right now, but I enjoyed every word of it anyway and learned a great deal. In season, it's probably 5/5.

It is always a joy to read Bob Goff's books. His larger-than-life personality comes through in his wild stories, which he always relates to something we all need to learn.
I'd recommend reading this book in small chunks to really get as much out of it as possible.
The world would be a better place if we all took a page out of Bob's book!

This author gets me every time with his quirky personality and sense of humor. He lives in such a way that he inspires others to live more boldly and authentically. Good reminders of what is important in life and the things in life that can drain us dry and steal our purpose.

Bob is a master of sharing stories in a loving and enthusiastic way. His joy is contagious and so is his passion for living a focused life. He enthusiastically shares stories and personal life lessons of how to live in the present. He shares advice on how to combat distractions in life and what some distractions may be. Nothing was revolutionary, but it was shared in a passionate authentic way. I would recommend it.

I always enjoy Bob Goff’s brand of accessible theology rooted in love. While none of his subsequent books have quite lived up to Love Does, I did enjoy this book. At times I found the stories and message to become redundant (as they were all about distraction), but he made interesting points. I also found that he would start a story that led into a theological point but never concluded the story. While the ends of the stories probably weren’t relevant to the point, I felt left hanging.

I have anticipated reading Undistracted for weeks and found a treasure of heart-felt stories and strong, intelligent guidance. Distracted is beautifully and joyfully written. The final summary is well worth the price of admission.

We can all benefit from examining the numerous distractions that keep us from fulfilling the highest life purpose. Bob Goff guides with compassion, empathy and fantastic illustrations.

If you have ever had a goal and got distracted then this book is for you as this book helps navigates you to the lane of your purpose. In a world full of distractions from news headlines, non-stop messages it's hard to remain focused on your goals and purpose if you are distracted. In his trademark , Bob unprovoked nudges you towards being less distracted and knowing your purpose. Highly recommend this book as it is timely and life changing

I’ve loved all of Bob’s books. He is a fantastic story-teller, full of whimsy and joy, with words that are light but meaningful. After starting Undistracted and remembering how much I love him, I ordered physical copies of all of his books so my 12- and 14-year-old boys can read them. He is just so good. Undistracted was a timely read for me, as the Lord has been reminding me to be present and mindful of everyday life. I was convicted early on when Bob says, "Sometimes we are so busy looking up and looking forward trying to figure out the next moves in our lives -- or looking backward at all the places we have been -- that we don't look down and figure out where we actually are." In a way only Bob can, he reminds us of what truly matters and provides simple encouragement in ridding our lives of what is getting in the way.
