Becky Wade never disappoints! When I see a new book of hers I RUN to read it! This book is the last in her series about the Miracle Five, and just like her other books she writes flawed characters, with struggles and issues and hurts and disappointments just like you and I go through. Her characters are real and I think that's what attaches you to them. You can understand their emotions. I appreciate that she writes swoon worthy Christian romance, but keeps it clean and Christ honoring!

This story was so intriguing from start to finish.
An ex-con.
A hippie lady who rescues dogs.
A treasure hunt that unites them both.
Luke’s character was so very raw and I think we all have a bit of Luke in us that needs rescuing. Finley was quirky and fun, someone you would want to despise for being so perfect but couldn’t help but adore.
The romance was epic.
The mystery of the treasure hunt kept me engrossed to the end.
The redemptive theme was inspiring.
Another wonderful book by Becky Wade.

I loved this story. So many layers: perfect pitch romance, a mystery, and coming back to the community and characters I've enjoyed. It was a great book to fall into.

Turn to Me by Becky Wade is a continuation of the Miracle Five stories.

Returning to Misty Creek after being released from prison, Luke has promised to help Finley in a treasure hunt her father had orchestrated before he was incarcerated. Having survived the earthquake that took Luke's brothers life, he is dealing with survivors guilt. Luke is a very dark moody character. Finley is a modern day hippy, who advocates for animals in her Furry Tails animal rescue center. Luke is to keep Finley safe while they hunt for the treasure.

I have always loved Becky Wades books. Luke's brooding felt like it was a little over the top. Although this is a clean book, Finley and Luke's attraction to each other was always on the hot radar. But it was a good book.

I couldn't really connect with Akira and Ben or with Finley's friends. But on a positive note, I was totally surprised what the treasure ended up being. A satisfying conclusion to the Miracle Five stories.

I received a complimentary ebook copy from the publisher, through NetGalley. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

Every time I read the latest by Becky Wade I remember how much I loved her previous book and how great her writing really is. Not only did I love the humor in Turn to Me, but the simmering and smoldering romance made this downright delicious! You could just tell that bad boy Luke, the last of the Miracle Five to get his story, was falling hard for Finley but the guilt from his past made him try to stay away from her. He seemed like such a hard nut to crack at first but he really softened not only with Finley but with his family as well. There is mystery connected to Finley's dad and the last treasure hunt he's written for her that she receives on her birthday after his death. Ben is also a part of Luke's story which wraps up this series perfectly. Oh...and we can't forget Agatha who is simply delightful!

This is a wonderful treat for sure!

Thank you Netgalley for the opportunity to read and review. All opinions are my own.

I've been looking forward to this book for awhile and it did not disappoint. One of my favorite things about Becky Wade's stories is her ability to write about characters who are so real, so relatable. Luke is the dark and brooding type dealing with so many emotions. Finley is not put off by him. She knows exactly how to get through to him. I enjoyed their banter with each other and was pleasantly surprised with the added mystery in this story. This was a great conculsion to the series, even though I hate to see it end. The faith thread and seeing all of the Miracle Five back together was wonderful. I highly recommend this book.

I was so excited to return to Misty Creek when I saw this title pop up and it was my favorite book in this series! Finley is delightfully passionate and a little bit quirky and I enjoyed how her relationship with Luke played out. Luke’s gruff but extremely loyal character makes it hard for readers not to fall for. The treasure hunt that Finley’s dad left as her last birthday present adds a nice thread of suspense throughout the romance story line. Ben’s happily ever after is a delightful side story as well. I love this series and am a little sad to say goodbye to the Miracle Five.

A stunning series conclusion from Becky Wade! I have been waiting two years to read Luke’s story, eagerly anticipating it the entire time, and I’m happy to report that Turn to Me exceeded my expectations.

Luke fits the outline of my favorite type of hero—brooding, dark, and secretly sensitive—but he is so much more than that. His journey was beautifully written, and I loved the parallels between Finley’s work with animals and her relationship with Luke. Finley was a great heroine too; I really connected with her character despite our many differences, and her own experiences of loss and grief were also portrayed well. I really enjoyed getting to see Ben again; my one wish would have been to see more of him and Akira in the epilogue.

I devoured this book. I highly recommend all of Wade’s books to readers who enjoy contemporary romance, but Turn to Me is something special. Don’t miss out on this series! 4.5/5 stars

Becky Wade's third installment from A Misty River Romance series, Turn to Me was a fabulous read. I loved it and am giving it five stars.

Luke was as perfectly moody as we'd hoped he'd be in his story. Finley was an interesting choice for him- a "Jesus hippie," he called her. I think I'd be as annoyed by her methods of rehabilitating him as he was. 😂 But I loved how along the way, she realized that he had, in fact, rehabilitated her.
She specifically names Jesus when talking to Luke about how He paid for Luke's sins, and Luke turns to God and asks for forgiveness when he has nowhere else to turn. I thought it was a well developed story with characters you could like and theology I could affirm.
This one statement was all that gave me pause: "Why would He give her these feelings for Luke if He didn’t intend something good to come from them?" I think we should be careful about assuming that romantic feelings a believer has towards an unbeliever are "from God." We get feelings from a lot of places that aren't God, and His word speaks against being unequally yoked with unbelievers.
Other than that, this was what I've come to expect from Becky Wade: fun, depth, and sn overall enjoyable read. Bonus points because the main characters actually did trust each other when it mattered.

I received an ecopy of Turn to Me from Netgalley and the publisher in exchange for an honest review. I was not compensated, and all opinions are my own.

This book was amazing! I was so excited to finally get another book in this series, it's just so wonderful

I loved these characters, and the way they work to make themselves, and eachother better people. They don't give up, and don't let the other person either.

The chemistry between these two was intense. I love how well their romance was written.

*I would highly recommend this book to anyone. *

Oh my. This book.
Best story I’ve read in awhile.
I could NOT put it down, could not stop reading.
But it’s so bittersweet to reach the end of such a magnificent series….I don’t want to leave Misty river and the miracle Five.

This is Finley's story. And Luke's. One of my very favorite things about Becky Wade's novels is her characters. She has such a unique way of making real people, and they just come alive for me. This one is especially exceptional.
Finley is on a treasure hunt. A sort of remembrance for her, left in place for her, to make her birthday special. What makes it a real treasure is that her dad did it for her before he died.
But he made Luke promise he'd go and help Finley on this treasure hunt. Which means...there is a good probability of actual treasure. And that her life might be in danger.
I loved reading this story, and seeing Luke and Finley get to know each other.
The treasure hunt thing, well, totally my kind of story!
This is just such a good book, and I recommend that you read it!

I know that when I read Becky Wade, I am going to get faith, romance, and grit based on reality. Turn to Me checks all of these boxes, and then some!
Luke has wrestled with survivor’s guilt since the earthquake and has sabotaged himself over and over trying to pay penance. When he gets out of prison, he’s ready to enact his new life plan that he’s been dreaming about for seven years. First, he needs to make a stop and make good on a deathbed promise to a friend.
Finley is a Jesus-loving hippie who attempts to house all animals and love on everyone she meets. When Luke arrives, she applies her fostering checklist to Luke, convinced he needs love and people.
Luke was expecting an older woman, not gorgeous and addictive Finley. Luke starts to work at Finley’s animal rescue while he helps Finley solve her dad’s clues to her birthday treasure hunt. (Somewhere around this point, Agatha steals the show, but that’s a side story you must read to find out more about. I laughed out loud so many times!)
The chemistry between Luke and Finley is exactly what I’ve come to expect from Wade, toe-curling, heart-stopping, stomach-dropping, intense, but clean. I don’t know how she manages to pull that off every time, but yet again, here it is.
Saving Luke’s story is like saving the best for last. You can read this as a standalone, but I really enjoyed being able to catch up on all the other characters (it really is like a reunion!). Not to mention, the side story of Ben moving on to a happy place.
There are so many beautiful moments of Truth that shine Light in the dark places of shame, guilt, sin, and lies we tell ourselves. Many of the characters are used to speak Truth and encouragement to one another and paint a beautiful picture of friendship and community.
I honestly cannot recommend this book (and series) highly enough! It truly has something for everyone and leaves your heart encouraged, challenged, and blessed.

Fans of contemporary romance, rejoice. Fan favorite Becky Wade has crafted another contemporary romance novel for fans of the genre and Wade’s stories. The story has a hint of a mystery with the treasure hunt that Finley has to go on. A little bit of a risky adventure. But since this is a contemporary romance, the whole story centers around the romance between Finley and Luke. From their first encounter, Finley and Luke start having feelings for each other. They spend the rest of the story trapped together trying to solve the treasure hunt pieces and working together at the animal rescue place, so they are in constant contact, so of course, their attraction to each other becomes center stage. As for Finley, the heroine, she did seem a little flaky and pushy. What kind of person would demand her employees take home a brand-new puppy, even though they persisted that he did not want to take one? After a horrible week with the dog, he still had feelings for her. I found this hard to believe. I would not like someone that forced a snake or something on me. Puppies are hard to handle just like a new baby. While I found the plot a little too unbelievable, I believe that fans of contemporary romance might completely disagree with me and enjoy the hint of the romance with the “mystery” element. Overall, Turn to Me by Becky Wade does fit nicely into the contemporary romance genre, but it was not to my liking. Not my type of book.

I received a complimentary copy Turn to Me by Becky Wade from Bethany House Publishing, but the opinions stated are all my own.

My favorite thing about Wade's work is how quirky and real her characters are. No cardboard cutouts here, everyone has a solid backstory for why they are the people they are. This installment in the fantastic Misty River series even included a fun mystery! Highly recommended!

4.5 STARS

This is my absolute favorite in the Misty River series! I'd been looking forward to Luke’s story, and his did not disappoint! He and Finley were such fleshed-out characters. And Luke's commentary was HILARIOUS. I totally loved how straight-up he was, especially when aggravated by people. I laughed out loud multiple times.

The treasure hunt was a fun and unique element too. I really appreciate how Becky Wade weaves a little intrigue/mystery into her novels.

If I were going to change anything, I would bring more emphasis to the fact dating a man who claims not to have faith in/has lost fellowship with the Lord is not a good idea. Also, I'd add that no matter how much you love someone that love shouldn't be so all-consuming that you say you want to die if that person dies. Of course, I understand that feeling--especially as a mom--but it's not Biblically sound. (I'm not saying the author doesn't already know these things. Personally, I would've just have liked to see them stated a little more clearly. I do feel like the character growth was completely believable though.

Truly, I didn't want to put this book down. Read it in two days, and I only regret that because now it's over. 😆

TURN TO ME is the final novel in the Misty River Romance series by BECKY WADE. It is a most enjoyable read and one I highly recommend for the great story that will keep you on the edge of your chair, interesting characters, and strong Christian message of redemption, restoration and second chances.
Finley Sutherland, who started the Furry Tails Animal Rescue Centre, is a bubbly, optimistic and compassionate young woman who is drawn to hurting animals and people. She takes on Luke Dempsey, the very handsome Miracle Five survivor, with every intention of restoring him to life, of course with God’s help. Finley’s list of objectives to bring about a change in this unhappy man who lives in guilt and finds it impossible to forgive himself for his brother’s death, is much the same as the one she uses with hurting animals. I like the animal characters as well, especially Agatha, the irritating little dog that Finley makes Luke foster for a week!
Finley’s father met Luke in jail, and, as he was dying, made him promise to help his daughter on the final treasure hunt he had set up for her, and above all to protect her from danger. This proves to be very exciting in more ways than one!
Luke is not the only one who needs to come to terms with his past - Finley has faced her own share of tragedy and has made some decisions that may need reconsidering.
I love the mix of characters, some of whom we come across in the earlier books, and the easy relationships between the inhabitants of Misty River.
It is a really worthwhile read, humourous in some parts and serious in others.
I was given a free copy of the book by NetGalley from Bathany House Publishers. The opinions in this review are competely my own.

Oh. My. Luke is fantastically grumpy and I adore him! Fans of the Misty River Series have been eager for Luke's story and the wait has been well worth it. I want to tell you every little thing I loved and yet I don't want to spoil a single minute of this fabulous book. It has humor (oh! Does it have humor!), faith, mystery (y'all! There's a treasure hunt!!), swoon-worthy romance, puppies(!!!), and a few surprises along the way. Finley is exactly what Luke needs and exactly what he doesn't want. Their relationship, from page one, is a delight to watch evolve. Let me tell you, watching the Miracle Five, this book just gives all the friendship goals, too - I want to be and have this kind of friend(s). And through it all, is a faith thread that will touch your heart. And readers, don't fret - Becky Wade did not forget Ben and his happily ever after. Talk about sweet! [insert happy sigh] This is the perfect ending to an amazing series.
