Jody Hedlund has delivered another masterpiece! To Tame a Cowboy is heartfelt, inspiring, and just a beautiful story. This one is an absolute must-read.

I’m realizing Jody can’t write a story I won’t fall in love with, and Brody and Savannah’s book is a perfect example. I adored their separate and entwined character development. Brody’s journey was particularly poignant—I have recently spent time researching my own relatives who fought in the Civil War, and one of them was imprisoned at Andersonville just like Brody. Jody portrayed these horrible experiences in a way that is relatable and respectful. I also loved seeing characters whose stories I have already enjoyed or am eagerly anticipating!

If you haven’t read Jody’s books yet, you’re seriously missing out. Her Colorado Cowboys series is the perfect place to start! 5/5 stars
