All the Dirty Secrets tells the story of the ties between the recent death of a female high school prep school student and the disappearance of another female student 28 years before during the spring Beach Week tradition outside Washington DC. Liza's daughter Zoe finds her friend's body on the beach, just like her mom found her friend's clothes on the beach years ago. The plot involves decades of protecting the image of the Washington Prep school and its wealthy families while covering up the Beach Week incidents from the 1990s to the present. The novel provides an good story, but readers will want to set aside a block of reading time to finish the last 10-15 chapters as the story unwinds between past and present and the murderer is revealed.

I loved the debut by this author but not this one unfortunately. I just couldn’t get into it. I was bored.

If we don’t learn from history, it’s bound to repeat itself. Or at least it seems that way to Liza when her daughter’s best friend dies the same way her best friend did 25 years prior.

This author never disappoints. She leaves you guessing until the very end. I can’t wait to read more of this authors work!

This was a DNF for me. I absolutely adored her first book, I Don't Forgive You, but I could not for the life of me finish this. I made it halfway and decided to stop. I think the the beginning was too slow for me just waiting for it to start to build up and WANT to know what happened. I was also SUPER frustrated with the mom. Again, LOVED her first book but this wasn't for me.

All the Dirty Secrets by Aggie Blum Thompson is thrilling and totally suspense filled. I love the way the book was paced, it held my attention and got very emotional at times in the story. Great read.

I used to live in DC so I was excited to read this and reminisce in the scenery! I love domestic thrillers and the different settings for different POV was so well done! I love timeline jumps and thought Liza and Nikki were excellent and well developed. Quick read, perfect for winter break or the beach!

Aggie Blum Thompson does not disappoint! I discovered I Don't Forgive You at Target. I read the first few pages and was immediately drawn in, so I knew I had to read All the Dirty Secrets and this one was even better than the last book. The suspense along with the descriptive writing kept me wholly engaged in the book. I literally could not put the book down. If you're looking for a thriller that will keep you guessing and invested, this is the read for you!

I really enjoyed @aggie.blum.thompson first book so I jumped at the chance to read this one. Similar to her first book this is based in the DC area, so I know my DMV friends will especially enjoy this one. This time a lot of it took place at local beaches which I also enjoyed. The story starts off with a bang and grabbed my attention in the beginning and didn’t let off until the end. I thought I had everything figured out, but I didn’t. I liked the direction the mystery took.

If you like domestic thrillers/mysteries I think you will enjoy this one!

3 for neutral, was unable to access my netgalley account for months, until today. Because of this, I was unable to see which books I needed to read. I apologize for the inconvenience and hopefully will not have any more issues in future.

I could not stop with this one! I couldn’t turn the pages fast enough! I loved the nonlinear timelines and the POV from a teenager who died in 1994 and then her best friend and her teenage daughter in current times. Captivating from the very first page!

This is a good one for the beach! I really liked the storyline, as I am a sucker for school-type drama settings. Liza's friend drowns 25 years ago at a beach party. Now present day, her daughter's friend drowns at a beach party also. This is a quick read told from 3 POV's. Liza, her daughter and what happened in the 90's. I really enjoyed the 90's parts. My only issue was I felt Liza was a little clueless, but this didn't stop me from enjoying the whole story. I plan to read more from this author, for sure!

Thank you to #NetGalley, Aggie Blum-Thompson and Macmillan-Tor/Forge Books for this ARC. All opinions are my own.

This is a perfect beach read book and it’s filled with mysteries to keep you guessing. It’s a dual timeline which I didn’t care for. I also believe this book would be more suited as a YA book.

Loved this. I read it quickly as I wanted to keep reading. Thompson pulls no punches with this one…All The Dirty Secrets is atmospheric, shocking, and downright unforgettable.

25 years ago, Liza’s friend Nikki dies supposedly by drowning while they are partying at Beach Week. Fast forward to the present, Liza’s daughter sneaks away to party at Beach Week and her best friend also dies by drowning.

The story is told in three different POVs: Liza in the present, her daughter in the present and the friend group 25 years ago in the past.

I want to start off by saying the author’s writing is just fine. Easy to read. But, there is so much unnecessary fluff. This story could have been way shorter. It really did not grasp my attention at all and I found myself very bored and I was excited for it to be over.

Another reviewer commented that it read like a YA novel, and I have to agree. It seemed immature. There was on twist - but I found it quite predictable.

I’m not sure if I will try reading another by this same author.

Thank you netgalley for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Synopsis: "One warm summer night twenty-five years ago, Liza Gold and her friends celebrated their high school graduation with a party on the beach. It should have been the best night of their lives, only, one of them never came back out of the ocean.

The tragedy haunted Liza Gold for years. Now, Liza is a recently divorced working mom struggling to connect with her standoffish teenager daughter Zoe when history repeats itself. Another young woman has drowned at Beach Week, and this time the victim is Zoe’s secret best friend.

Liza begins to suspect that the two deaths are somehow related, which causes her to face hard truths and take an unflinching look at the people she’s called her closest friends for the past two decades. She must discover what really happened to both women before it’s too late.

Set in the upscale DC private school scene, where silence can easily be bought, All the Dirty Secrets asks how far you would go to protect your status and your family, and if some secrets should ever be revealed."

This was a solid read. I always enjoy this author - her books are always quick, suspenseful and fun reads. The main character for this one was completely clueless which was frustrating at times. But the twists and turns were great!

My Thoughts : I was hooked from the start but not only that I really liked how there was just enough twists to keep me interested all the way through.. plus the twists were fantastic!

This is for mystery thriller lovers who love more than one good twist 🌪

I would like to thank NetGalley, Aggie Blum Thompson and MacMillan for my arc copy in return for my honest review!

This was my first book by this author. This was a great popcorn thriller and an entertaining read. I love going between audio and in this case e-book. Keeps me grounded, especially with a books that have so many characters like this one.
I loved the flow of this book and the amazing writing. I did figure out the ‘culprit’ by the half way mark, but it was still shocking and clever.

A highly entertaining read with some great twists. I look forward to what this author has in store next.

Many thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for my advanced reading copy.

This was some twisty story. It starts off slow. Some characters annoyed me but it didnt deter me from reading the book. It is told by 2 different POV. The ending I didnt see coming and is what made the book for me.

Thompson did a good job with the transition between the two main characters, Liza and her daughter Zoe and the events that took place in 1994. When Zoe’s friend Emery, is found dead ar the same beach area where Nikki disappeared back in 1994, a lot of questions arise about what really happened with these two girls.

I rated this book 4 1/2 because Liza is very naïve when it comes to really seeing the truth that’s literally right in front of her. Besides that, I couldn’t put this book down and finished it in 2 days.
