I could not put this book down I has you sucked in right away and the author throws you so twist and turns that keep you guessing to the very end. In fact in the last part of the book the author throws a curveball I was so mad at first then kept reading only to take a nice sigh. know this the books not over until the that word is read. I really liked the "family" aspect of this group of friends. I loved Alex she has such a big task to take on but has the biggest heart for those who are struggling. I truly have nothing bad to say its amazing and you can not go wrong. Grab this book you will not be disappointed.

I love anything that Mehl writes. This last book in the Quantico Files is very interesting. I love how the profilers come to their conclusions. In this book they have very little to go on and yet with continued effort they arrive at a somewhat profile. There is a killer on the prowl and he is possibly a serial killer. Alex Donovan and Logan Hart are the primary BAU analysts in this story. They are trying to form a profile of a woman and possibly other missing women. The strange thing is most of the women have the same characteristics. That is all they have in trying to complete a profile for the killer, an almost impossible task. None of the women taken have ever been seen again and now another one was just recently taken. Then they realize that Alex fits the same description that all the missing women have. Will Alex risk her life and willingly go to him to save the other women? Will she be able to help these women or sacrifice her own life to a deranged killer? What a story, what an author…..Thanks to the author and the publisher for this excI love anything that Mehl writes. This last book in the Quantico Files is very interesting. Free Fall by Nancy Mehl is a very suspenseful, edge-of-your-seat novel. The Quantico Files follow a team of FBI profilers. Nancy has obviously well researched the methods used by profilers and has written a thrilling series of books. While the books could be read as stand-alone, they are best read in order. Alex and Logan are an interesting couple and I really cared about what happened to them. I enjoyed the faith element. I can't wait to read more books by Ms. Mehl.

I would suggest you brew a pitcher of tea and settle in under a tree for a fantastic read.

I was given a copy of this book by NetGalley with no expectations. All thoughts are my own.

I’ve been looking forwards to reading the finale for this trilogy for so long, and I was so glad it was finally time to read this book! Unfortunately, it was a bit of a letdown, but overall I am glad I read it!

This book is primarily the finale between Alex Donovan (the female protagonist) and Logan Hart (the male protagonist) and their relationship that has been developing over the past few books. In my opinion, the romance in this book doesn’t really develop all that much–it’s just a bunch of physical attraction, and mostly Logan pining after Alex. In that regard, it was a bit . . much? It was a lot of romantic ~feelings~ and “ooh do they like me back” instead of any truly good chemistry, and honestly I wasn’t a huge fan of Alex and Logan together.

The setting for this book was really well done! There was some historical background set in an abandoned amusement park/circus, and part of the investigation was also set there, and I thought that was really creepy and unique. Haunted/old circuses have a particular flavor of spooky and I thought that the setting was a really good choice.

The main storyline was also really good: I think it progressed at a good pace, and the story itself was interesting and unique, and kept me hooked. It was different from the standard Christian fiction politics-motivated/drugs/terrorism that seems to be all anybody writes about anymore, which was really nice. I was a little bit skeptical of the realism of some of the plot points, but overall, it was the most interesting part of the story and I thought it was interesting.

The side stories were a little confusing to me, and in parts it felt more like the side story was there to fill space rather than contribute to the story. Several of the side storylines (Logan’s medical side story, Jeff’s whole conversion story, etc) were interesting, but I much preferred the main story to the side plots. Truth be told, a lot of this book seemed to be trying to fill space, and that was a bit annoying to slog through.

With that being said, I REALLY liked the perspective of the antagonists and their chapters: it was so suspenseful seeing their point of view, and those chapters were really well done.

Overall, this was a good book, if a little bit weak. I think the second book in the series was my favorite. I much prefer the Kaley Quinn Profiler series and the characters in that book over this one, and this entire set of books was mediocre (I think the author tried to imitate the Kaley Quinn Profiler series too closely but didn’t think through the plotline closely enough) but didn’t succeed.

Free Fall by Nancy Mehl continues the story of Alex Donovan and Logan Hart, agents with the Behavioral Analysis Unit (BAU). This time they face insurmountable danger as they discover multiple women have gone missing and they all have the same look. A killer is on the hunt, looking for a specific woman and abducting anyone that looks like her. But while Alex gets closer to finding the taken women, Logan deals with serious life-altering issues of his own, not to mention his growing feelings for Alex.

I’ve been a fan of the entire Quantico Files series. Free Fall brings danger and suspense on every page. But this story has more of a spiritual arc to it. Both Alex and Logan face their biggest fears and the story deals with more personal issues as well as solving a heinous crime. If you like stories where the characters grow and change by the end, definitely check out Free Fall. I recommend the entire series.

I received an ebook review copy of this book through NetGalley. All opinions expressed in this review are my own.

I did not want to put this book down. This is the third book in this series and my favorite of the three. This has action, romance and psychological suspense. Alex and Logan keep getting closer even though they do not know it. I love this about the story. This gets scary at times but there is always inspiration woven in to keep them going. This story is fantastic. I received a copy of this book from Bethany House for a fair and honest opinion that I gave of my own free will.

I love how Nancy uses children's rhymes as themes for the serial killers in her books "Daisy, Daisy, give me your answer do....." Free Fall is an edge of your seat, non-stop action from the very first scene. Alex Donovan and Logan Hart are the primary BAU analysts in this story. They are trying to stop a serial killer who is targeting women who look like Alex when he sets his sights on her the whole team goes into action to save Alex and the other women. The story takes twists and turns that you didn't see coming. This has been my favorite series so far from Nancy Mehl.

Nancy Mehl takes us on a thrilling ride from the opening paragraph until the very end! Free Fall contains end of your seat drama and suspense as well as a roller coaster of emotions. Expertly written to drawn you into the story making it difficult to put down and leaves you wishing it didn’t end.

FBI Special Analysts Alex Donovan and Logan Harris once again take us on an adventure as they race to stop a serial killer. This one is difficult for them to profile as he keeps breaking from the normal patterns. While they work to put together a profile for law enforcement, Logan is faced with his own personal issues that threaten to distract him and Alex. They must work to focus on the job before the killer strikes again.

Free Fall is a thrilling ending to this series! One of the best suspense series and I hated to see it end. I am hopeful we get a peak into the characters lives in future books.

I was given a complimentary copy of this book from the publisher. All opinions expressed are completely my own.

Free Fall is a modern-day thriller written by Nancy Mehl. It is book three in the Quantico series, but it is not necessary to have read previous books in order to read this one.

Summary: FBI behavioral analysts Alex Donovan and Logan Hart have made a chilling discovery. They have a serial kidnapper on their hands.

Every woman fits a very specific physical description. It’s almost like the kidnapper is looking for someone…..

Can they find and stop the kidnapper before anyone dies?

My Thoughts: This series is a bit darker than the books I typically read, but I still do enjoy them. This one was another nail-biter with plenty of mystery and suspense.

The majority of the book focuses on the analysts trying to figure out what is going on and who is committing the crimes, while also showing what is happening to the victims at the same time. It provides a unique way of looking at the story as a whole, and really allowed the whole story to come together at the end with an exciting climax.

I enjoyed this book, and if you like thrillers and mysteries that are a bit on the dark side, this would probably be a good read for you.

I would like to thank Bethany House for providing me with a free digital copy of this book in exchange for my review.

Wow! Do not expect to put this one down before you reach the end. I am quite sure if I hear the song “Daisy, Daisy, give me your answer do….’ I will remember this story. Just imagine how something that seems so small could possibly affect the rest of your life. You’ll have to read on to find out more.

FBI agents Logan and Alex are given the task of creating a profile of the perpetrator who has kidnapped a local single mom. What they learn will make the hairs on your back stand up! Will anyone be able to survive this madman?

This ARC of The Quantico Files #3 was received through Bethany House Publishers and Baker Publishing Group. These thoughts and impressions are my own and were in no way solicited.

Buckle up and hold on its gonna be a great ride. In this final book of The Quantico Files series we join SSA Alex Donavan and SSA Logan Hart as they profile and search for the man behind the abduction of several women. All of whom resemble Alex. The BAU is called on to help find a missing woman who is the mother of 2 young children, upon looking into her disappearance they discover there have been many other women who have disappeared over the years. As Alex and Logan lean on God to guide them through, both are given reaffirming messages from God that he is there for them. What a way to bring a series to its final conclusion. I enjoyed seeing Unit Chief Jeff Cole and SSA Monty Wong again. While this can be read as a stand alone, I throughly enjoyed it as the finale to this series.

There are some authors that write superb romantic suspense, and Nancy Mehl ranks right up there in the top of that list. Reading Free Fall will have you agreeing with my statement if you don't already know that about this author. Logan, Alex (Alexandra), and their team are great characters. The plot twists and turns and then spins back around on itself. The suspense is edge-of-your-seat and will make it very, very difficult to put this book down until it's finished. I admit that I had to, but it was 1:30 in the morning before I gave in! Some of my favorite lines are "God will give us beauty for ashes, Alex," Logan had said. "But we have to give Him the ashes. If we keep them, He can't exchange them for beauty.'"
I highly recommend Free Fall to readers of clean romantic suspense and of Christian romantic suspense. I would definitely read more from this author.
I received a complimentary copy of this book through NetGalley and am sharing my opinion of this very well-written book.

Brilliant suspense author, Nancy Mehl, has knocked it out of the ballpark...er, rather the amusement park, I should say—in this riveting, hair-raising adventure guaranteed to take the reader on a twisty, emotional roller-coaster ride that kept me on tenterhooks from the prologue!

FBI agents, Alex Donovan and Logan Hart are once again in cahoots, searching for a serial kidnapper who is targeting women with similar physical attributes. Wondering if wig and hair dye sales escalated in VA during their search for this psychopath-just sayin'! The chemistry between Alex and Logan is almost palpable—the camaraderie between all the FBI agents is touching, humorous, and vulnerable—but nonetheless professional, intelligent, and tough. There's so much more I'd like to say, but those itty bitty things called spoilers stopped me dead in my tracks. Oops, scratch the word "dead." Yikes!

Suffice it to say, I was tremendously impressed with the uniqueness and originality of this plot...yes, it has the creep factor we all love in suspense fiction, but none of the typical "dime a dozen" drug trafficking and terrorism issues I'm tiring of. I challenge you to try and put this book down—an almost impossible feat to be sure! An action-packed, eerie whodunit both men AND women will enjoy (just a smidgen of romance, guys)—'Free Fall' may just be my favorite Nancy Mehl novel yet!

*I received a complimentary ARC of this book on behalf of the publisher and was under no obligation to write a favorable review.*

5 Stars: 5/5 Star Rating

Well, every time I read one of Nancy Mehl's new books, I declare that it is my favorite book and NOW I have a new favorite book! Free Fall is magnificient! I honestly finished reading this book in 24 hours and I HAD to take some breaks for the happenings of life and still managed to finish it because I simply HAD TO KNOW WHAT WAS GOING TO HAPPEN! I love the characters: Alex and Logan! I wish they would hurry up and admit they love each other though. LOL

We are back at Quantico, and with the agents we have come to know through this three book series. Yes, this could be read alone, but then you will want to know what causes the dreams, and broken foot, among other, but you won't be lost!

We are in a desperate search for a missing woman, and these profilers are quick on the job, and you are about to walk in their shoes! Along with the search, we are gifted with some sweet romance, and some are facing some serious health issues, and wearing their faith on their sleeves we join them in searching.

The author had me curling my toes and holding my breath all the way to the last page!

I received this book through Net Galley and the Publisher Bethany House, and was not required to give a positive review.

This is book three in The Quantico Files series, however I feel it is a stand alone book. This book is full of many twist and turns, mystery, suspense and much more. We reconnect with Alex Donavan from book one and other characters we met in the series.
We learn more about Logan Hart and Alex Donovan in this book. They both face some very difficult circumstances and obstacles. While trying to solve a mystery and rely on God their faith is put to the test. I have enjoyed all three books in this series. Nancy Mehl does a great job at keeping the suspense and drama in her books.
I was given a copy of this book for my honest opinion.

With the perfect balance of romance and suspense you can’t help loving this book. The characters are real and for those who read the previous book you can’t help but be invested in their lives.
As they work together on the case of a serial kidnapper danger lurks around every corner. With Alex is in the crosshairs and Logan facing a possible life altering surgery where does that leave them? Logan has no doubt about his feelings for Alex, but is she ready to admit she might also want more than friendship?
This book shows how a test of faith can make you stronger when you draw near to God. Life can be messy, but hope is always right there waiting.
I was given a copy courtesy of Bethany House a division of Baker Publishing Group. This is my honest opinion of the book.

Free Fall is the third installment in the The Quantico Files. It follows profilers Alex Donovan and Logan Hart as they seek to solve the mystery of why women with a particular look are disappearing. As Alex and Logan begin creating the profiler, Logan begins to act strangely, but he's keeping all the reasons for that to himself.

The kidnapper soon realizes that Alex looks like the women that he is taking, and demands that she surrender herself to him in order for him to reveal where all of the missing women are. Rather than freeing the other women, the kidnapper adds Alex to his collection. Can Alex find a way to get herself and the other women she's trapped with out of the dungeon? Will Logan reveal what is wrong before it ruins his relationship with Alex?

The Quantico Files has been an extreme series, and I loved the first two books in this series. However, this book fell a bit flat for me. We've gotten to know Alex and Logan so well in the first two books, that their relationship is not a surprise. But these two characters keep so much from each other throughout the series, it's hard to believe that they can cultivate a healthy relationship. As neither character is trusting the other with major life events, it shows some seriously unhealthy dynamics that made their coming together in the end feel more unrealistic than it could have.

I also struggled with some of the theology included in this story. Much of what was shared about how God views suffering is not true to what is actually written in the Bible and it made me uncomfortable to read.

I absolutely wanted to love this story, but I just couldn't in the end.
