While short, I found this book took me longer than it should have to read. It started out quite strongly, but guessing where the storyline was going was quite easy, although there was one surprise. All in all it was a middle of the road thriller, that wasn’t as thrilling as it could have been, but still an enjoyable read. Thank you to Crooked Lane Books and NetGalley for an ARC of this book.

A fast paced read in this thrilling story about two sisters a murder and a complex family.

Liz tries to uncover the truth but more secrets are buried and not al truths are meant to come to light. But she is determined to keep searching even if it cost it her life, but someone is determined to keep the past hidden.

I truely didnt see this ending coming. I was gripped from the start and felt the story kicked off right from the begining. Lots of twists and turns lies and deception.
Great book thats hard to not read in one sitting.

I read this in one day. It was incredibly riveting and kept me engaged the entire time. I found the author's writing to be great and I could not stop reading it.

I really enjoyed this book a lot more than I expected, especially for a book jammed packed with, a death in a family that is surrounded by mystery, betrayal of family and friends, and a hint of romance.

Raised by their stepparents, after the loss of their birth parents, Liz and Meredith McCallister are the only contacts in each other's lives, that is until Meredith is murdered in her home. Overwhelmed by her loss, Liz becomes desperate to uncover the truth of why her sister was killed, going as far as interfering with the police (who also happens to be her sister's ex-boyfriend, Tom). However the more Liz digs, the deeper and more she learns about the dark and ugly truth her family has been hiding.

Really enjoyed it, and look forward to reading more of Richards' work.

I really enjoyed this one, but it is definitely a slow burn. I always like stories about people digging into the history of their families to find the truth. Overall, it was an entertaining read

Where Secrets Live, is going to be a book that is long discussed between thriller lovers.

S.C. Richards, jam packed this book with secrets, deceit and family drama . With each secret exposed I was left aghast a little more each time. If you think the author "wont go there", you are dead wrong. Where Secrets Live, is one of the top 5 psychological thriller books I have read this year. When you read as many thrillers as I do, you become a little more critical each time. Where Secrets Live, does not leave any room for criticism.

The flow was consistent and fast paced. "One More Chapter" does not exist, when you are flying through a book, riddled with anxiety to find out what exactly is going on. My attention was captivated early on and never lost. I should have known better than to start reading before bed. Yes, once again I was kept up all night. There was no way I was putting this book down without finishing it!

As I read, I felt like a detective putting all the pieces together in my head. I was curious to see if I would be able to figure out what was going on.

The dynamic and love felt between both Liz and Meredith (sisters) was instantly portrayed. These two girls had been through it all together, including the devastating loss of their parents when they were young. They were left with no one but each other. If you think it can't get worse, it can...

Meredith has been murdered. Always in the spotlight for being the "good sister", Liz is beyond confused. As Liz begins to dig into their family history she starts to uncover secrets that she was not prepared to face.

How far will someone go to keep their secrets buried?

Where Secrets Live, is one of the best books I have read this year. The amount of detail and research that went into this novel shows. This book was not rushed or repetitive . I was fully engaged in the storyline, loved the dimensional characters and the twist packed such a gut punch I am surprised I am still breathing.

I really loved this book! It had such a nice pace, and engaging, relatable and believable characters...
but the problem I had with it was the ending, a little. It felt like a different book for the last 25%! It sort of turned into this action thriller Mexican standoff thing with lots and lots of guns!

I did guess who was hurting the main character's sister and it was very satisfying to see I was right. :)

Overall, I give this book strong 4 stars, but it could have been all 5 if the ending wasn't so odd.

Love the well fleshed out characters and found them believable.
Great suspense and found myself second guessing every thought I had continuously.
Can't wait to read what the author brings out next.

I enjoyed reading this suspenseful story. This is a new author for me which I enjoyed and look forward to seeing what is next for them. This is a well written story about Liz and her sister's murder. You dont want to miss what happens. I enjoyed how the characters brought the story to life. They pulled me in from the beginning. They are connectable and kept me coming back for more. A fast paced story that is full of mystery, suspense and secrets. A fast paced story that is hard to put down. The characters bring much to this story and they made the story easy and entertaining to read. I highly recommend this book.

This was my first book by S.C. Richards and I really enjoyed it!!! This domestic thriller will keep you turning the pages to find out what happens next!!! I look forward to reading more books by this author!!! Read and enjoy!!!

Where Secrets Live is a fast paced thriller with good twists and turns.
The protagonist is a female character who uncovers family secrets while trying to find her sister's murderer.
The end was a bit dragged, I do enjoy fast paced book but this seemed to have no halt. It also lacked the emotional aspect that could have given some depth to the story.

This was a good decent paced read. There was some repetition album overall the novel moved ahead. Although this book deals with family dramas, it was very thrilling!

Even with threats and warnings from Tom, Meredith's high school and college boyfriend who is now a police officer assigned to the case, Liz is determined to find the truth. What Liz uncovers is a life of lies woven by her father, step-mother, and step-father. And Liz repeatedly is attacked and beaten during her search for clues. The most shady character is Tom, the police officer, who wants to keep his professional distance from Liz, but keeps showing up in her bedroom. During Liz's quest, Tom is always one step ahead of her to find clues, or two steps behind her, threatening that Liz is disrupting the search for the murderer. Where Secrets Live is a suspense-filled book what will have readers cheering for Liz and wondering if Tom is really a good guy.

Where Secrets Live is a dark and twisty domestic thriller that kept me on the edge of my seat. It was fast paced and held my interest all the way through. I really enjoyed it.

Where Secrets Live hooked me from the first page! Every chapter brought a new suspect or motive in to play or discovery of another secret held from Liz! The ending was predictable but the jaw dropping drama kept me going and made this one hard to put down! Overall, I really enjoyed reading!
