This is a sweet story about apologizing for a mistake, as well as figuring out how to solve a problem. I enjoyed the message of Ava being able to save her artwork and turn it into something else, and the photo style of this book was a fun way to show the characters in the story.

What an absolutely adorable picture book about a sweet little bunny artist who turns a mistake into a work of art.

I loved the pictures, seeing those adorable little cloth bunnies, seeing the little magical world was so wonderful. Wonderful. I think any child's imagination would be quickly caught by such a sweet idea.

The story itself was excellent as well, a sweet little baby bunny is painting in the park. Winter painting gets knocked over and messed up by a rogue soccer ball. She goes home upset but then realizes that she can make the best of it, and ends up turning it into her best painting yet using the mistakes that the friends accidentally made.

I think this book would be perfect for any child who loves bunnies, who loves the idea of magical animal worlds, or who is an artist.

Cute story, great concept. I loved that the illustrations in the book were actual photos. I'm really glad Ava came to the solution by herself, however I felt that for a child maybe some guidance from her mom might has resonated with kids better. Not every kid cane come up with a solution like Ava did and forgive the other bunnies for ruining her painting.

A young reader made all the more distinctive by being created using photographs of hand-made dioramas, peopled by plush rabbits. Our heroine is busy making a new painting in the park with all the other bunnies until the football smashes into her easel, making a splodge where she only wanted pretty flowers. Inconsolable, she is not at all happy until she starts to look at what's left anew...

The fact this is made with real plush toys does kind of hinder us seeing them jump and down with relief and joy, to spoil the ending, but it certainly ramps the cuteness up a lot. It also connects the very young reader with stop-motion animation, with all the characters posed just so on purpose-built sets before the photos are taken. I could quibble that the end product isn't really adapting what the splodges made, and more just painting over them, but young readers would be happy enough seeing the serendipity of it all, and the moral that everything will be alright in the end.

Ava loves to paint at the park, but when a stray ball bumps into her easel, her painting might be ruined. Ava must find a way to cheer herself up, but she never dreamed a mistake could result in one of her best paintings ever.

This is a simple story with an obvious moral, but it treats mistakes with kindness and works to remind kids that they don't have to cry when something turns out different than they had planned. More importantly, unless you hate photos of handmade plushies, I hope you'll be as enchanted by this book as I was. Each illustration was painstakingly constructed and photographed with adorable details and creative angles. This is a cozy read, perfect for bedtimes and rainy days, but the text is simple enough that emerging readers can manage it with a little help. Perhaps it will inspire children to create dioramas of their own (even if the art doesn't turn out exactly as they intended).

Ava's Triumph is a simple story about overcoming obstacles told in a very unique way. I really liked the pictures because they were actual photos of the bunnies arranged to tell the story. My favorite picture was the one of Ava standing in front of her completed painting. Definitely a very cute story.

What a cute story!

I enjoyed the art in this book, the fact that the bunnies appeared to also be handmade and on a miniature cake was a nice touch.

This story was short, sweet and a good message about making our mistakes into positives and not letting them get us down.

I would definitely read this book to a child and I think the artwork would keep their attention, but I do wish at times the image was slightly less chaotic as there is a lot going on in some.

This is a super simple book with a great message for children. The inclusion of bunnies as the characters makes me think that beginner readers would be enthralled with this story, plus the cute photos throughout. The content is easy and perfect for a child who's just learning to read. The story itself teaches kids that accidents happen, but sometimes those accidents can be turned into the best situation as long as you have the right attitude. This is definitely a book to read your kids.
