The galley was difficult to work through, as the copy did not include many of the graphs/visuals referenced in the text. But as an argument, this provides a lot of intriguing data points to include in curriculum focused on American politics and contemporary public opinion.

Munger's book "Generation Gap" provides an important analysis of American politics focusing on generational conflicts and demographic change. There is only little existing research on how age affects political representation and participation and Munger's work shows 1. how important this research is and 2. that age inequalitities in American political institutions have grown in the last decades. I especially like his concept of "Boomer ballast", which shifts the blame from young people - who are often considered to be uninterested in politics - to the Boomer generation, which takes up too much space in political institutions.
