I found the idea of this book fascinating. While some notions on religion and philosophy are far above my ability to get it, the rest of the letters I found quite interesting.
Also, it is refreshing to see two people that disagree on some things still keeping it touch and be friends, especially in this bubbled world. I can only hope that other people read it too.

What a lovely idea for a book. And it is more than just an idea but a well-executed conversation between two brilliant, erudite men on the state of the world and the meaning of life. Miles and Taylor disagree on a lot, though not everything, and reading the back and forth is wonderful. Miles is a renowned religious scholar and journalist and I have read most of his books but this is my first introduction to Taylor. He is well worth reading as well. Recommended.
