This book was excellent, and a great way to finish the series! I can only hope Farrah Rochon writes more female friendships the way she did with London, Taylor, and Samiah.

The final installment of a series full of strong women and this time London’s story is brought to life. A pediatric surgeon, she literally puts her heart into her work. It’s relatable to see how she grows learning that she is looking for more work life/personal balance which so many people struggle with. Great story, great series!

While a big fan of the previous two books in this series, sadly this one just didn’t hit the mark for me. The relationship between London and Drew felt unbalanced, and I hated the way it seemed like London was just using Drew when he clearly had feelings for her. It made me not like her. I enjoyed the parts about London and her dad, and how she was able to finally be honest with him about her feelings. Overall, a three star read.

I LOVED this book and the story, maybe because I see myself in London- a lot! Characters are very relatable and story is swoon worthy!

This fun and spicy romcom has some of my favorite tropes. I love that the story involves to professionals. Their story as “enemies” dates back to their high school days. When they meet up again at a High School Reunion they can’t deny the sparks between them. A casual hookup seems like a good idea at the time. However, it seems their days as enemies may continue when Drew shows up in Austin and is in charge of making the decision on the future of the hospital where she is s doctor. I really liked hearing London’s story. It was fun and had plenty of heat!

I have loved The Boyfriend Project series so much and was so excited to dive into The Hookup Plan. It’s no surprise that once again Farrah Rochon didn’t miss.

Dr. London Kelley is a pediatric surgeon at a struggling hospital. She is a woman who is knowledgeable and willing to fight for the things she know would be good. I adored her. She was a strong woman in every since of the word. I really loved the way she was reflecting on parts of her life and how she handled that. It really had me cheering for her.

Rochon handled the relationship in a way that I really liked. Starting off as no-strings attached, so there were scenes early on for London and Drew together, but they were fade to black. As their relationship developed, there was more detail which I thought was a brilliant way to help show how much closer they were getting. How their moments went from something they needed as humans to two humans who cared about each other. It was lovely!

This was another reminder of how much I love the friend group. Seeing all three women together is amazing. They are so supportive of each other and eager to be there to support one another through everything they are going through. None of that changed in this one, they only managed to get stronger.

Rochon has really placed herself in one of my favorite authors. The way she writes women and romances is amazing. The Hookup Plan had to have been one of my favorite books in the series. I cannot wait to see what the author does next.

Farrah has such a good way if writing a fleshed out Romance book. This book was such a fun enemies to lovers, to sexually involved, oh my gosh I am in love story. I loved that the characters were in their thirties, too. I would highly recommended anyone who likes high school rival going back 15 years tropes, and anyone who just loves a good romance.

I dnf’d this at 40% its fade to black. Academic rivals to enemies with benefits doesn’t work for me, without smut. I honestly got bored bc it wasn’t my type of romance book.

What to say about this book?

This feels like such an important story, told by a strong, black woman who has had her own fair share of terrible luck in life, but has managed to excel in her career so much that she is so extremely gifted.

She meets a guy she hated in high school for such childish but reasonable reasons at their high school reunion. She and Drew click instantly and since her friends told her she needs to have a hookup, why not try it with him?

They hook up and choose to make it a plan, but it slowly turns to what others would consider a strong/deep like. We find out that Drew wanted London in high school and was heartbroken when she was void of attraction in school due to her own daddy issues.

This book has so many important values and ideations that show how the way sexism can be within any part of life, and also the fact that no one is as bad as a narcissistic parent. The struggles London goes through and how she gets help and helps Drew with his own struggles is admirable and I really wish more people to pick this up.

I am so very grateful for being able to read this book.

THE HOOKUP PLAN by Farrah Rochon is everything you want in an enemies to lovers romance. Dr. London Kelley and Drew Sullivan are enemies from way back. High school nemeses they were always competing for the top spot and when London had it she could feel Drew breathing down her neck. But after running into him at their high school reunion she finds he's breathing down her neck for real as the person who gets to decide whether her hospital gets closed down. Soon London finds herself working with Drew again...and it's not so bad especially after they become not-so-friends with benefits.

Farrah Rochon's final entrance in The Boyfriend Profect trilogy might be the best yet. London and Drew's chemistry is red-hot and of course the romance gives all the feels. Fans of Rochon, this trilogy, enemies-to-lovers, Austin, Texas or romcoms in general will love this book. I highly recommend!

There wasn’t anything groundbreaking for me here. It was a solid romance that scratched an itch. It’s a bit lore of a slow burn relationship wise for me. I found myself speeding up the audiobook to get through it.

Really loved this story. It was sweet but steamy. I love the FMC was focused on her career. I think having the MMC come in and be a potential threat but also him not wanting to be seen that way was a great plot and created good tension. My first by Rochon and will definitely be checking out more!

Out of all 3, this is my least favorite of them all.
Honestly it was kind of boring. I really thought I would like it more.
The miscommunication trope is really out there ruining books if you ask me.

The writing was still really good though! I will definitely be reading more by the author.
