While it took me a bit to truly get invested into the book and characters - once I was in it, I was in it! While I think the love story (and spice) in the second book makes it my favorite of this trio of books, The Hookup Plan comes in at a close 2nd. I really enjoyed London as a character and her portrayal of a talented, busy woc that excels at her own physical and mental expense truly resonated with me. I also the Drew might be my favorite MMC of the series. This is one of those rare books where I was literally talking back to the characters because I was so invested! I can't wait to read more from the author and I wouldn't be opposed to a spin off series just so we can get a follow up peek at the 3 friends at the heart this.
4.5 out of 5 wine glasses

It’s good to see a series end on a good note
I love Farrah , drama started right off the bat!!!girls before dudes
London having Drew pine over him for years 😍🙌 just amazing chemistry

The Hookup Plan kicks off with highly successful and a bit of a perfectionist London being hyper focused on making sure that her ten year high school reunion goes off without a hitch and right away, I'm deeply invested in London. We were introduced to her in The Boyfriend Project and I've been excited about her story since then because there's something about following fellow gifted kids trying to figure out how to create an identity not solely focused around their accomplishments that resonates for me. (To be fair, this book doesn't actually talk about her having been in gifted, but... Let's be real, she fits the type.) ANYWAY, London is trying to find a hobby (she's picked up crochet) but her friends also think she needs a good one night stand. London is a little shocked at herself for not only having a one night stand, but having one with her high school rival, Drew. But she's comfortable enough with the experience because she'll never have to see him again since he's going to go back to NYC, where he lives. Except... Turns out, Drew is actually in town to audit the hospital London works in.
While I'm not sure the pacing of this book entirely worked for me and tonally, the book really seemed to shift from fun and light to more deeply emotional than my brain was quite ready for (Drew's still grieving his mom who passed away from an aggressive form of cancer about a year ago), I did really love the character work in this book and found it to be a really successful conclusion to Rochon's trilogy. And all in all, I would recommend.

The Hookup Plan by Farrah Rochon is a delightful romantic escape that hits all the right notes. Rochon weaves a charming tale of fake relationships, unexpected sparks, and the messiness of love. The characters are relatable, the dialogue is snappy, and the chemistry between the leads is electric. It's a feel-good read with just the right blend of humor, heart, and steam. If you're in the mood for a lighthearted romance that will leave you with a grin, this one's a solid pick. Farrah Rochon knows how to deliver the perfect dose of swoon-worthy moments and happily-ever-afters

I can't believe that I read this book so long ago, and never provided feedback.
Really enjoyed this novel. High school rivals to lovers is one of those hate to love sub tropes that I adore. Especially when as adults there's a slight power imbalance (a slight one, not a major one).
Romance aside, I just love how London with Drew's help was able to relax, and let go. Have that confrontation with her father. Be there for her sisters.
I'm a bit sad that this was the last book in the Boyfriend Project trilogy. While the romance was central to each book, the series was about the friendship that these women made, and also the ability to grow as a person through the friendships and the romances. It didn't solve all the problems, but it helped each of them let go a small part of the problem that was holding them back, and preventing them from going after their dreams.

First, I love everything from this author.
Next, I loved this book. enemies to lovers (not my favorite, but I'll take it), an arrangement where they catch feeling accidentally, sexual tension, badass characters.
LOVE.

I love Rochon and this one was a great addition to her books! This book is everything I wanted with enemies to lovers and hot romance.

This book was excellent, and a great way to finish the series! I can only hope Farrah Rochon writes more female friendships the way she did with London, Taylor, and Samiah.

The final installment of a series full of strong women and this time London’s story is brought to life. A pediatric surgeon, she literally puts her heart into her work. It’s relatable to see how she grows learning that she is looking for more work life/personal balance which so many people struggle with. Great story, great series!

While a big fan of the previous two books in this series, sadly this one just didn’t hit the mark for me. The relationship between London and Drew felt unbalanced, and I hated the way it seemed like London was just using Drew when he clearly had feelings for her. It made me not like her. I enjoyed the parts about London and her dad, and how she was able to finally be honest with him about her feelings. Overall, a three star read.

I LOVED this book and the story, maybe because I see myself in London- a lot! Characters are very relatable and story is swoon worthy!

This fun and spicy romcom has some of my favorite tropes. I love that the story involves to professionals. Their story as “enemies” dates back to their high school days. When they meet up again at a High School Reunion they can’t deny the sparks between them. A casual hookup seems like a good idea at the time. However, it seems their days as enemies may continue when Drew shows up in Austin and is in charge of making the decision on the future of the hospital where she is s doctor. I really liked hearing London’s story. It was fun and had plenty of heat!

I have loved The Boyfriend Project series so much and was so excited to dive into The Hookup Plan. It’s no surprise that once again Farrah Rochon didn’t miss.
Dr. London Kelley is a pediatric surgeon at a struggling hospital. She is a woman who is knowledgeable and willing to fight for the things she know would be good. I adored her. She was a strong woman in every since of the word. I really loved the way she was reflecting on parts of her life and how she handled that. It really had me cheering for her.
Rochon handled the relationship in a way that I really liked. Starting off as no-strings attached, so there were scenes early on for London and Drew together, but they were fade to black. As their relationship developed, there was more detail which I thought was a brilliant way to help show how much closer they were getting. How their moments went from something they needed as humans to two humans who cared about each other. It was lovely!
This was another reminder of how much I love the friend group. Seeing all three women together is amazing. They are so supportive of each other and eager to be there to support one another through everything they are going through. None of that changed in this one, they only managed to get stronger.
Rochon has really placed herself in one of my favorite authors. The way she writes women and romances is amazing. The Hookup Plan had to have been one of my favorite books in the series. I cannot wait to see what the author does next.

Farrah has such a good way if writing a fleshed out Romance book. This book was such a fun enemies to lovers, to sexually involved, oh my gosh I am in love story. I loved that the characters were in their thirties, too. I would highly recommended anyone who likes high school rival going back 15 years tropes, and anyone who just loves a good romance.

I dnf’d this at 40% its fade to black. Academic rivals to enemies with benefits doesn’t work for me, without smut. I honestly got bored bc it wasn’t my type of romance book.

Thank you to Forever Publishing, Farrah Rochon and NetGalley for the ARC in exchange for my honest review.

Super sweet book & what I expected from Farrah < 3 I have such a special place in my heart for diverse romcoms. The vibes, the characters, the CHEMISTRY! it was wonderful!!!

What to say about this book?
This feels like such an important story, told by a strong, black woman who has had her own fair share of terrible luck in life, but has managed to excel in her career so much that she is so extremely gifted.
She meets a guy she hated in high school for such childish but reasonable reasons at their high school reunion. She and Drew click instantly and since her friends told her she needs to have a hookup, why not try it with him?
They hook up and choose to make it a plan, but it slowly turns to what others would consider a strong/deep like. We find out that Drew wanted London in high school and was heartbroken when she was void of attraction in school due to her own daddy issues.
This book has so many important values and ideations that show how the way sexism can be within any part of life, and also the fact that no one is as bad as a narcissistic parent. The struggles London goes through and how she gets help and helps Drew with his own struggles is admirable and I really wish more people to pick this up.
I am so very grateful for being able to read this book.

Love this author and adored this romance! Super cute, had a snails on my face the whole story. Got really invested.
