The first 2 books in this series were okay, but I struggled a bit with this one. Overall, a decent series but it felt a little cheesier and cheesier as time went on. Cute romance.

My favorite book of the series! I loved Drew and London's chemistry -- I'm such a sucker for "she thinks they're rivals but he's been obsessed with her for ages." It was such a joy to see London slowly relax through the series, too. A great audio read!

Thank you to @readforeverpub and @hachetteaudio for a copy of this book in exchange for my honest opinion. And thank you @val_readsbooks for the buddy read and discussion!

While I missed thr friendship story with Samiah and Taylor that was present in the other books, I enjoyed London’s story in this third installment. I appreciate the maturity and respect that London and Drew showed one another. I was thankful for the lack of miscommunication beyond the beginning of the book. I loved their banter.

I did feel the language in the book was a bit crass at times. Not my cup of tea, but I’m sure it works for others.

Overall, it was an staisfying conclusion to the series, and I cannot wait to see what Rochon offers next.

Thank you, NetGalley and Forever, for the ARC of The Hookup Plan! This book was so much fun; and was my favorite of The Boyfriend Project Series! Both characters were so well developed and likable. It was easy to empathize with their struggles. The multi-layer, well-written story draws the reader in and does not let go. I highly recommend this book!

After reading The Boyfriend Project, I knew that Taylor and London were going to demand their own stories be told. I love the idea of high school enemies becoming adult lovers. I loved Drew’s character and now while he knew that he could throw his money around, he respected London’s beliefs that money doesn’t solve all problems. I also loved that London’s independence remained intact throughout the story. I could have done with a little less “but you were like that in high school” especially in the latter half of the book. We’re adults now and we’re making adult choices so look forward, not backward. I also felt like there was more effort put into the family subplot than the romance, and I would have maybe liked that flip flopped. Ultimately though if you liked the Boyfriend Project you’re gonna love the Hookup Plan.

Sexy and funny with just enough tension to keep the reader on their toes. I love a good story with MCs that are at their base good people. This book was perfect after having a stressful week, and cathartic to witness how the MC handled familial conflicts. A great reminder to be true to oneself and honor who you are as a human while doing no harm to others. Although I wanted to do harm to at least one character. All in all, a fantastic rom-com that is light enough to entertain and deep enough to read as genuine.

I received an ARC courtesy of the publisher and NetGalley. The opinions are my own.

I love a series like the one The Hookup Plan is a part of. They don’t necessarily have to be read in order because each book follows different characters who all happen to have relation of some sort. I found this book similar to the Marriage Game series from Sara Desai, which I really loved. Both London and Drew were incredible characters who were smart, funny, and enthralling. The salaciousness was salatiating. And overall the storyline was really solid. Though I read this book (book 3) without having read others in the series, I’d definitely be interested in reading Taylor and Samiah’s stories too, because Farrah Rochon is one heck of a romance writer!

What a delightful enemies to lovers book.

London and Drew are both successful in their respective fields as adults. But as teenagers they (at least from London's point of view) were mortal enemies competing to be number one in their high school class.

Ten years later, they run into each other and the sparks fly!

I would recommend this book to friends or book lovers who love a good rom-com or enemies to lover book.

Unfortunately this one just was not for me. I had to DNF. I don't think this author's writing style agrees with me - I just don't connect with the story (even though the characters are endearing).

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. London and Drew are absolutely adorable.

London goes to her high school reunion and runs into her archnemesis Drew. Drew is in town to determine if London’s hospital is able to stay open and running. Drew is determined to show London that he cares and she is determined to save her hospital and not fall for Drew.

My favorite quote was: Drew walked up to her and cradled her face in his palms. “You can’t be everything to everybody, and you can’t do everything, London. And you cannot feel guilty about taking time for yourself. If there is nothing else you take away from this weekend, let that be it. You deserve to have a life outside of that hospital, away from your responsibilities. Promise me you will take time for yourself. I learned the hard way that time is the most precious commodity on this earth, and once it’s gone, it’s gone.”

This book was really good and I enjoyed it very much! This author was new to me and i found her writing to be very easy to follow. The female main character was very strong and I love that!

I am a huge fan of romance novels that feature strong, smart, career-driven women who find love without giving up on their dreams, goals, or selves in the process. That’s exactly what happens in Farrah Rochon’s The Hookup Plan (release date: 8/2/22). I put this in the open door column of romance novels. This is the third novel in The Boyfriend Project series (Helen Hoang vibes), but I did not read the previous two and they can easily stand alone. I snagged this one as a “read now” ebook ARC on NetGalley.

London & Drew meet up – and hook up – at their high school reunion. This is an enemies to lovers trope based around academics. These two were the smartest in their class and always trying to be better than the other in the classroom. They ended up having to share valedictorian status, and London is still not over it. They have both become very successful. London is a pediatric surgeon and Drew is a businessman who saves failing hospitals — I bet you can see where this is going.

As London & Drew continue to interact with each other, they realize that they both have pre-conceived notions about the other, for better or for worse. As each of them reveals their character to the other, they realize that their independent nature can also make for a wonderful duo. I enjoyed this book quite a bit, and it was an excellent book to take on my recent beach vacation.

I had a hard time getting into this book. I didn’t realize this was part of a series, so I definitely wish I had read the other two before I jumped in. Though the chemistry was good, the rest of the plot was underwhelming, but it’s very possibly I felt that way only because it was expected that I’d already be invested in London from previous books. Overall, this was cute, but a bit hard to follow with the half baked elements of the plot being far less developed than the love story.

I've really liked reading this series so far, and the addition of The Hookup Plan did not disappoint. While maybe not my favourite in the series, it was still a very fun and entertaining romance. There was good character development, fun banter, and I thought the chemistry was definitely there between the two main characters, London and Drew. If you enjoy the enemies-to-lovers trope, you just might want to add The Hookup Plan to your TBR!

Thanks for the advanced copy! I was so excited to read London’s story after reading the previous two books and loving them. After the rave reviews, I was eager to pick it up. Sadly, this didn’t hit the mark as I had hoped it would. It’s not that there was anything wrong or that I disliked in it, it just didn’t fully keep my interest as I was reading it.

This book was my favorite of the series. I loved London so much and her friendship with Samiah and Taylor. And who doesn't love a "no strings attached hookup" that without a doubt always becomes more? Drew was a wonderful love interest and friend despite his unfortunate career. I really enjoyed that this book touched on some complicated topics but also had a lot of joy and fun. A great read! 4.5/5

After reading the boyfriend project I was so excited to read the hook up plan. I didn’t realize it was the third in the series but it didn’t give anything away. I love a series that takes on different characters from previous books.

Thank you Forever and NetGalley for the gifted eARC of The Hookup Plan! All opinions in this review are my own.

London works hard whether it is at her job as a pediatric surgeon or planning her high school reunion. Unfortunately, this also means that her stress levels are high. When she reconnects with Drew Sullivan, her nemesis from high school, she decides that some casual fun will help. What London doesn't account for is that Drew has liked her all along or that he owns the company who is in charge of helping her hospital get back in good financial standing. Now Drew is around all the time and London is determined to keep their arrangement as casual as possible.

If you like enemies to lovers or romance books where he falls first, you have to read The Hookup Plan! I loved London and Drew as a couple and I liked how the spice built up as the story went along. When the first scene was fade to black, I thought the whole book would be like that. However, as the couple grows closer, there is more and more spice. While I could have used some more scenes with Samiah and Taylor, I liked that a lot of this book was London working through her own issues and feelings for Drew.

I am sad to see this series finished, but I like how Rochon wrapped everything up at the end! Plus, I read these books slightly out of order and still have The Dating Playbook to read because I wanted to save the fake dating story (my favorite trope) for the end!
