I thought this was excellent and probably the strongest in the series. London is easily my favorite of the trio since I related to her the most. She fel real in her cursing workaholic perfectionist ways. The female friendships are at their peak. The dialogue was snappy and not overly smart (ie no dictionary needed). Drew felt overly perfect which is why I took off half a star, but other than that it's a quality Texas-set romance.
It's also easily read as a standalone, though it's the 3rd in the series.

☆☆☆☆ Overall

I loved this enemies to lovers, I think it was done beautifully and angsty and spicy, and just overall very well written. I’ve never read anything by Rochon before, but I may have to change that after this book! London is a hardheaded queen and my absolute favorite.

The Hookup Plan by Farrah Rochon was such a fun read. It’s a romance story about a pediatric surgeon, London, who is over-working and over-stressing. Her friends encourage her to find someone to have a fun and casual relationship with, and to their surprise she chooses her high school nemesis, Drew.

In the first 10% of the book, the frenemy banter was light and almost cheesy and then it settled into a wonderful and dynamic story. Both London and Drew have big careers and personal reasons for why they are involved in the healthcare industry and as they begin to understand this about each other, the story deepens.

Everyone is different in what they look for in a romance novel – this one seems like it will be enemies to romance, but that’s just the surface. It quickly moves into casual dating where the biggest obstacle is their personal healing. The background setting of the hospital and medical issues that are touched on throughout made this more than a romance story. London has a strong friend group and their conversations made me laugh, which is always icing on the cake in a romance novel.

This the third in a series (The Boyfriend Project) and I had no trouble jumping in without reading the first two. I am going to read them though – I need to see more from this author.

Thank you to NetGalley and Forever (Grand Central Publishing) for this advanced copy in exchange for my review – I really enjoyed it!

Steeeeamy and I’m here for it!
How fun to stir up an old high school flame. Hard to not be nostalgic. I’ll admit, this was my favorite of the series. The flirty banter, the backstory, the emotional development - it’s all there.

The third book in the series, and Farrah Rochon does not disappoint! I think this was the best of all three! London and Drew’s enemies to hookups is just so fun, sexy and action packed. I loved how real the characters were dealing with their own family issues, and trying to come to terms with what they actually want in life (and love). I highly recommend The Boyfriend Project, The Dating Playbook, and The Hookup Plan, these were such fun and sexy reads! I can’t wait to read Farrah’s next book in 2023, instant TBR add.

Holy smokes! I SUPER LOVED Farrah Rochon’s first and second novels in The Boyfriend Project so much that this as an instant request. However I was FLOORED to find out this book was just as strong and great as book one and two! I love a strong powerful women and that’s what London was. Omg, if your a strong indecent women, you have been looking for this series. Now I can’t wait for the last book of this series because it’s all about strong women and great relationships. .

What a steamy conclusion to this series! We finish London, a super overworked and stressed out doctor, and her high school nemesis Drew, a multi millionaire who’s had a crush on her since high school. They reconnect at their high school reunion and next thing you know, they’re having mind blowing sex…for stress relief purposes, duh. Then she starts catching feelings and between that and finding out why he’s really in town, she’s about ready to blow a fuse. And Drew is dealing with family drama of his own. Can they help each other overcome all the obstacles or is there too much bad blood keeping them apart?

I love this series and The Hookup Plan is my favorite of them all. Read them in order because in this book we catch up with all 3 friends. London gets her shot at happily ever after in more ways than you might think. But it’s up to her and her alone to decide if she wants to go for it all. I can’t wait to read more from Farrah Rochon!

I really enjoyed this and I loved that he secretly had a crush on her in high school. Seeing her fall in love with him and them ending up happy with no third act break up was a lot of fun.

I received an arc through netgalley

4.5 stars

The Hookup Plan was pure enjoyment. It had so much going for it, it needs a list.

-enemies-to-lovers trope
-snarky back and forth banter
-great sexual chemistry
-both MC have their shit together
-communication and discussion
-minimal angst

While The Hookup Plan is third in the series, I hadn’t read the others prior and I don’t feel any less for it, it works as a standalone.

I really enjoyed London. Is it an ego if you back it up? She was smart, hard-working, and she went after what she wanted. It’s just those pesky emotions she’s not ready to deal with. But Drew has a longstanding London infatuation, so he’s gonna take what he can get while trying to convince her for more.

I love seeing them both fall deeper for each other (even if London tried to deny it initially) and how they both discuss their hang-ups and trauma about life. I’m always about characters who communicate.

A quick and entertaining read, The Hookup Plan was fun and addicting. Will definitely be looking for more from Farrah Rochon.

the hookup plan ⭐️⭐️⭐️.5

drew and london were academic rivals in high school. now both extremely successful in their careers when their paths cross again, their animosity quickly shifts. london is a strong, opinionated lead and drew matched her wits every step of the way, navigating every challenge thrown at them.

it took me a little bit to get into this book, but i loved the growth of london and drew’s relationship throughout the book. i think it fell a little flat for me at the middle mark as it dragged some, but it is still a great summer read! thanks netgalley and grand central publishing for early access to this title!

A wonderful conclusion to Farrah Rochon’s Boyfriend Project trilogy! I was so happy to finally get London’s story and the enemies-to-lovers/somewhat second chance romance was perfect.

Drew Sullivan came into London’s life in her junior year of high school. His ease in school and his good looks turned him into her biggest enemy. They meet up at their high school reunion and she surprises him by proposing that they have a one night stand. Their connection is deeper than that and they end up in a professional situation together. London doesn’t want to want Drew but she can’t help herself.

I always enjoy Farrah’s writing and was thrilled to receive this ARC!

this was the best book out of the series in my opinion. the humbleness to Drew to the confidence in London. Couldn’t put it down. ☺️

A charming end to a delightful series. Rochon's characters jump off the page, and finally getting a look at what makes London tick was worth the wait. A tale of how two ambitious people can find each other and come together despite working on opposite ends of the table—thanks in no small part to their major chemistry.

Note: I received this book from the publishers via NetGalley.

Finally! London's book is here!!

The Hookup Plan is book 3 in The Boyfriend Project series by Farrah Rochon. Samiah, Taylor and London meet after learning they were all dating the same guy, Craig, and banded together to support each other reach professional and personal goals.

London is veritable star of the pediatric surgery world. She's badass and taking names, fighting for her patients, co-workers and cash-strapped county hospital. She's fought hard to get where she is, including back in high school against her nemesis, Drew, who she ended up having to share valedictorian honors with.

Fast forward to their high school reunion, Drew and London are back to fighting and...hooking up all weekend. Come Monday morning though, Drew shows up at the hospital....as the head of a team auditing the hospitals finances.

I LOVE Farrah's sassy, sexy humor. This series has been filled with laughs, romance and smart women. This story meshed enemies to lovers with "it's just a hookup." London is such an amazing heroine and I completely adored how Drew let her shine.

What holds this series together is the friendship between Samiah, Taylor and London. These women. Each one of them is remarkable and made me want to cheer. The adversity they have overcome to get to where they are professionally and the relationships they found with their partners and each other, it just makes your heart happy.

What a great conclusion to this series! I loved that we got to see so much of Samiah and Taylor throughout the book. I also really enjoyed London and Drew - they both seemed like really fleshed-out, interesting characters. The inclusion of many medical details made the book seem authentic and well-researched. I really liked that the big “crescendo” was a personal decision a character had to make, rather than a breakup between the characters because I always appreciate a book that avoids the cliched “third-act breakup.” Although I remained frustrated over London’s relationship with her dad even after the book was over, it did seem realistic and I was glad she was able to get some personal closure. But did the Dr. Coleman storyline ever get resolved? He’s just a jerk who never gets his comeuppance? Booo!
A few parts of the book did seem repetitive. Lots of talk about the sensory room and her relationship/guilt with her dad and siblings. The “nude selfie” storyline was a little dragged out for my taste. I also found it odd that London and Drew started hooking up so early in the book and yet we only had one real fleshed-out sex scene, at more than 70% through the book. I felt like I would have liked at least one more detailed scene much earlier in the book.
Overall I really enjoyed reading this and I wish the series wasn’t ending, but I definitely look forward to more from Farrah!

If you loved The Dating Playbook, then you will love catching up with the three women in this book. This is London's story. The trope is enemies to lovers and is generally my least favorite trope to read. I was drawn right into this fun RomCom from the beginning. I enjoyed the characters and especially their lively banter. Such a fun trip to the HEA.

This is the third in the series and I think I missed out by not reading them in order. Would recommend though! Love seeing more diversity in romance! And this cover is chefs kiss!

Thank you to my friends at Forever for the gifted eARC of the Hookup Plan!

Farrah Rochon can do no wrong with me and The Hookup Plan was no exception. I thought London and Drew’s story at a enemies to lovers was super cute. I loved the way Drew broke London’s guards down one by one. He may have disappointed her but I loved that he kept working at making their duration right. It was clear Drew knew London was the one for him from the beginning.

This was such a great summer read! I’d highly recommend!
