I’m preemptively eating this a 3, even though I don’t plan to finish it. I have truly not enjoyed any of the characters in this series very much. London is brash and annoying. These books are far too long, with not enough plot happening to support it. When you don’t like the characters, it’s very hard to listen to so much of their inner (and outer) dialog.

All London Kelley needs is the opportunity to de-stress. When former high school rival Drew Sullivan comes back into her life, she decides to relax in the form of a hookup plan with Drew - no strings attached. But when Drew becomes entangled in London's professional life, London quickly finds that she starts craving more and more from Drew than just a hookup.

I really enjoyed this book and I look forward to more from Farrah Rochon!

Thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for the ARC!

I really enjoyed this! Farrah Rochon does a great job of fleshing out all parts of a character. Both London and Drew had full lives outside of their romance and were super believable in all of their actions.

London and Drew were high school rivals, but Drew has always been secretly in love with her. When they both attend their high school reunion, they decide to enter into a friends with benefits relationship to let off some steam - and there was lots of steam! The rivalry made for great banter and an awesome will they / won't they.

I also really liked watching London try to figure out what was most important to her and what her next steps should be. She had great character growth throughout the book.

This is part of a series but all could definitely be read as standalones.

Sexy and smart. Farrah Rochon writes romance between smart and independent women and the men who love them, and handles more sensitive topics with nuance and respect.

The Hookup Plan by Farrah Rochon. Pub Date: August 2, 2022. Rating: 4 stars. I am a huge rom-com reader and this book totally fits the bill and was just what I needed to read to get me out of a slump. In this enemies to lovers swoon worthy novel, a successful female pediatric surgeon finds herself entangled with a a millionaire she reconnects with at a high school reunion. What she thought would be one night of fun turns into their personal and professional lives intertwined with both career and love lives on the line. I loved the strong female lead who showed females can be smart and vulnerable at the same time. I loved the simplicity of Drew's intentions and his gentle ease to win London's heart. I found this novel to be engaging, realistic and just what I needed at the time I read it. I absolutely recommend this novel! Thanks to NetGalley and Forever for this e-arc in exchange for my honest review. #thehookupplan #netgalley

A high school reunion, nemesis, second chance, enemies to lovers, in this spicy story of a woman looking for one night and discovering that her plan changed.

What will happen when Dr. London Kelley discovers her one wild night becomes something she never anticipated with Drew Sullivan. Can they work together or will old feelings resurface?

Figuring out what we want in life is difficult enough but when friends and family widdle their way into the decisions, it can make things sticky. Maybe this rivalry will finally come to an end?

Discover why the ones you love to hate are not always the ones you want to hate forever in this spicy read..

I love this authors writing style and find myself really easily immersed in her books and this one was no exception. Enemies to lovers is a trope that doesn’t always work for me but here I really enjoyed it. This would read well as a stand-alone but I would recommend this whole series!

My favorite book of the series! Love an enemies to lovers trope. That being said, I was still kind of bored lol. I found it repetitive and wasn't really sold on the chemistry between characters. I did appreciate that there was no miscommunication or third act breakup.

The Hookup Plan
Rating - 3.5⭐️
Genre - romcom/ contemporary romance

This series can do no wrong in my eyes and I’m bummed this is the last book of the friend trio. A sweet, and semi-spicy romance with laugh out loud moments fit right in with the first two books in the series - I can’t pick a favorite! Cannot wait to see what’s next for us from the author!

Be sure to pick up this series if you’re a romance fan that appreciates career driven women in STEM or strong female friendships.

Rochon knows how to write the cutest romance books! I loved this one just like I did the others in this interconnected series.

After pediatric surgeon London hooks up with her high school nemesis Drew at her reunion, she finds out the real reason he's in town - his job is to decide whether or not her hospital stays open. Drew is doing everything he can to convince London he's a good guy - because sleeping with the enemy is not on London's to do list.

This was the third book in the series about London and her friends, and it was my favorite! I loved the enemies to lovers trope, and London and Drew had some serious chemistry.

I have followed Farrah Rochon from the beginning of her career and she never disappoints. The Hookup Plan is both steamy, humorous and heartfelt. The best kind of combination in a romance. She writes characters to follow in love with as you watch them fall in love. Highly Recommend!

Thank you to NetGalley and Forever for the ARC in exchange for an honest review

This is the third book in the series but it can be read entirely as a standalone

CW: sick parent (mini stroke, on page), death of parent (past, cancer), grief, brief mentions of parents in physically and emotionally abusive relationship, emotionally abuse/toxic relationship with a parent

I would recommend if you're looking for (SPOILERS)

-m/f contemporary romance
-high school rivals
-unrequited crush
-this is just a hookup
-forced proximity

It was great to see London finally get her HEA in this book. Both London and Drew had complicated pasts but a high school reunion gives them an opportunity to finally hookup. Drew has been harboring a life long crush on London and she's finally looking his way. I enjoyed how supportive he was of her work and how much he believed in her dreams.

This was a great ending to a series with a fun premise. I love the strong female friendship that just permeated the series as each girl found their own HEA, each a bit different from the other and each just as well earned.

Steam: 3

This book was so cute! This was my first of Farrah Rochon's books but certainly will not be my last. I fell in love with the FMC and the MMC was a perfect book boyfriend. Looking forward to tearing through her backlist!

A steamy enemies to lovers surrounded with complicated workplaces and familial relationships. I don’t know that this book was my cup of tea, but that’s not to say it’s not a good book. I just didn’t feel like I connected with either of the main characters. One felt a little too good to be true and the other just wasn’t really likable. But was it a quick, pretty fun read? Okay, sure.

The third book in the trilogy but can be read as a stand alone. Smart and sexy Dr London Kelley runs into her high school nemesis at her high school reunion. Sparks fly and London finds herself falling for her hookup
