I love this series!!

London and Drew are mortal enemies since high school (you know this is going to be good)
That chemistry just pours off the page (once again, you know this is going to be good)
Even though London is under tons of stress she decides to create an arrangement with Drew (you know where this is going)
This arrangement WILL NOT have feelings included, I repeat WILL NOT (yeah, right)....

I don't want to give too much away here, I just want you to go read it, along with the 1st 2 books in the series.
It's an easy, quick read, once you start you can't stop.

I just reviewed The Hookup Plan by Farrah Rochon. #TheHookupPlan #NetGalley

If you like high school academic rivals to adult lovers, this book is for you. In high school London saw Drew as his academic rivals, while Drew has been fascinated with her the whole time. As adult they see each other again at their high school reunion and the relationship goes on from there.

I really liked this book, this relationship and every little detail between the families. This book had a tight grip on me, took me a while to finish because I was trying to finish my 2023 goal... I just loved it. It made me feel happy the whole time because they were happy and the relationship was nice. I do think the story is more focused on London and her family issues than any issue between Drew and her.

Here is the little detail of why this book isn't 5 stars, I did not like how late in the game the third act conflict happened. I think was 88% when the shoe dropped. I think that is way too late in the game. Overall, I loved this book and I would recommend to people who don't mind not having spice in their books.

Such a fun read! I liked the representation of a strong, black woman who is successful in her field - and does not need a man to be successful. I do wish, though, that some of the issues in the book had been explored more in depth by the author.

3rd and final in the series, Farrah Rochon comes highly recommended. This one was a little heavy on the spice and a little light on the character development. It wasn't without some great one liners that I will file away and save for the future, but at times I found myself a little distracted by the dullness of the characters.

Will definitely read more, because FR has a way with words!

4.25/5

So far, The Boyfriend Project has definitely been my favorite of this series, but The Hookup Plan is still what I have come to know and love from these books, and Farrah Rochon as well. The Boyfriend Project series is based on the different ladies in a friend group and for this installment, we got London's story. She has been my favorite character in all of the books, and I was excited for her to finally find love. The banter and chemistry between Drew and London are completely on point and whew do things get a little spicy! I tend to prefer less steam, but Rochon seems to have a way with how she writes the spice in her books that it didn't feel like anything I couldn't handle. London is an amazingly smart and capable woman, but I wanted to knock her aside the head to make her really SEE Drew and how good he was for her. But we got there so it's all good!

Another thing I love about this series is the audiobooks, and the audio for The Hookup Plan is no exception. Even though they didn't HAVE to do it, each of the 3 installments is narrated by a different person and I loved how that gave Samiah, Taylor, and London unique voices. Marissa Hampton narrates this installment and I loved her for London! It doesn’t look like she has narrated anything else, at least nothing that is on Libro.fm, but she was a really solid narrator, and I would definitely listen to her again. The only reason I’m giving this book a 4.25/5 as opposed to anything higher is that for one I just wanted more of the friend group. They were really prominent in the other 2 installments but not so much in this one. I also wanted a bit more from London’s story. Having her as my favorite character made me build up this idea in my head of how hers should be super wonderful, and I was just hoping for more than I got. This is totally personal preference though, and I thought The Hookup Plan was a wonderful third book to the series. I bought myself a signed copy from one of Rochon’s local bookstores and I couldn’t be happier. I highly recommend this entire series if you like romance and strong female leads.

With The Hookup Plan by Farrah Rochon, readers get the highly-anticipated conclusion of The Boyfriend Project series. (I know I am not alone, however, in thinking this would make a great TV series.)

With this installment, readers get London's story, and I love a good enemies-to-lovers story, especially when the enemy is a blast from the past. I think Drew might be my favorite suitor of the bunch. I am going to miss these ladies.

Many thanks to the author, publisher, and NetGalley for sharing this book with me. All thoughts are my own.

It is bittersweet that this is the end of the series. I love these characters so much! London is overworked and undersexed until she hooks back up with her high school rival, Drew. While they may be at odds professionally, they sure have heat personally. So much heat! The banter, the humor and the steam are all top notch.

What’s your all time favorite book series?⁣

There is something really special about the magic trio of Samiah, Taylor, and London, protagonists of The Boyfriend Project books. I was recently gifted a copy (thanks @netgalley and @readforeverpub) of the final installment, The Hookup Project which follows London as she falls into a enemies-to-lovers, workplace, no strings attached situationship with her rival from high school. ⁣
—⁣
Like the other books in this series, it is full of heart, fun, and steam. The banter is quick, the male lead is swoony, and the hospital setting is intriguing.⁣
—⁣
While there is much to enjoy, I really should have held off and listened to this on audio which is how I read the first two books in the series. That said, it was fun and I recommend to any romance lovers. ⁣

Similar to the other books in the “series”, The Hookup Plan was funny, kinda spicy and had an excellent love interest in Drew Sullivan. This story was a “rivals to lovers” that could’ve really been a “friends to lovers”. I enjoyed the dynamic between Drew and London. I also loved that the sassiness and confidence shown in the first two books shined brightly in this book. I was really satisfied with the outcome of her familial relationships as well as her explanation of career decisions.

Although Taylor and Jamar from book 2 are my favorite couple, I think I enjoyed this story a bit more. I’d recommend this story to any who likes rom coms, have difficult familial relationships and enjoy a little spice.

Farrah Rochon saved the best for last! I loved London's story -- undeniable chemistry, a swoony hero, a smart and sassy heroine, and an emotional story that will stay with you. Plus, the strong friendship between London, Samiah, and Taylor shines again in this final series installment.

The Hookup Plan is a fun and sexy look at ambition, self-care, family, and falling in love with your sworn enemy!

Shutter synopsis: London is a successful pediatric surgeon, when she runs into her arch nemesis Drew at a 15 year reunion she quickly realizes that Hate is such a strong word for how she feels about him.

My thoughts: After reading this one, I can’t wait to pick up the previous books the series. Somehow I didn’t realize it was a series going in.

I’m a huge fan of strong female characters and Rochon did London so right! She’s strong, she’s successful, she knows what she wants and she strives to get it!

I loved watching the relationship unfold between London and Drew, and this was anything but a slow burn!

Read if you love:
- Enemies to lovers
- amazing friends
- books in a series
- banter
- strong female characters

The third and final book of Farrah Rochon’s latest series was just as solid as the first two. I loved finally getting more insight into London and seeing how she was learning to balance the drive and ambition she has in her career with the realization that she longs for more connection with her friends and family. Her and Drew’s mutual pining, second chance, rivals to lovers story was everything I crave from those tropes. I only wish I had read this one sooner,

Thanks to NetGalley and Forever for my copy to review.

Rochon's writing is fun and refreshing and easy to follow. It's easy to fall into a flow with her storytelling which I find very important. This is my favorite of the entire series.

A fun lighthearted read! I haven’t read the other books in the series but am planning on checking them out after enjoying this one! This was a good enemies to lovers romance. I liked how London and Drew’s relationship developed throughout the book and thought they had great banter. I do wish Drew had a few more flaws. He came off as so perfect compared to London who’s flaws were more of a focus but I still liked both of them as main characters. I enjoyed all of the side characters too! This book is worth adding to your TBR!

Thank you to Forever Books and Netgalley for this arc in exchange for an honest review.

While THE HOOKUP PLAN didn't feature as much of the friendship between Samiah, Taylor, and London as the previous two installments, it didn't detract from the story. I truly appreciated the maturity and respect that London and Drew showed one another. There was no miscommunication (at least, after the immediate beginning). I loved absolutely loved their banter. Furthermore, London's experience as a healthcare provider (stress, burnout, heavy workload, etc.) is far too common, and I am glad that Rochon incorporated it into her novel. Overall, it was an extremely satisfying conclusion to a wonderful series, and I can't wait to see what Rochon offers next. Note, The Boyfriend Project is one of my go-to series recommendations for contemporary romance!

Many thanks to Forever Pub and NetGalley for the complimentary copy in exchange for an honest review.

A romance that had me laughing out loud and cracking up while reading it. It was a nice quick read that had an enjoyable love story. Very well done!

Thank you so much @ReadForeverPub & @NetGalley for giving me this ARC in exchange for my honest and unbiased review (Release Date | 02 August 2022)

SYNOPSIS | London is a paediatric surgeon completing her final year of residency when there are rumours that her hospital might be privatized because it's struggling financially. All of this adds to her stress & her friends recommend she start hooking up with someone as a way to relieve some of it. At her 10 year high school reunion she bumps into her high school nemesis (Drew) who has turned into quite the catch.

WHAT I LIKED:
- I felt like I really understood London's motivations & decisions
- the plot outside of the romance added a lot to the story
- overall a really well rounded contemporary (with heavy romance plot) that wraps up the series nicely

WHAT I DIDN'T LIKE:
- I wanted more moments between London & Drew outside of the hospital setting
- the steamy scenes were missing the buildup & angst & instead jumped straight into the main act (& the first couple of hookups happen off page)

I really enjoyed this book! Enemies to lovers is one of my favorite tropes, and I thought this was a great read!

I always love an enemy to lovers plot! I know this book is in a series, but I read this before reading the other two and I was able to follow along just fine. Drew was so swoon worthy and London is so smart and strong! Watching the relationship between the two of them starting as enemies and evolving from there was great!
