Daddies and Daughters Stick Together is such an adorable book celebrating the relationship between a dad and his two daughters. Mom goes to work and the girls spend the entire day with their dad. The family does everyday routines, yet these moments are special. Like the saying goes "its the little things that count", and the "little things" in this story turn into wonderful memories and experiences for Diari and Fatima. The love that Diari has for her family and vice versa just seeps through the pages of this story. I will be ordering for my library.

The book follows Diari and Fatima's adventure with their dad when their mom is at work. It was heartwarming following this dad and his daughters on their eventful day.If this book doesn't make you appreciate father's I don't know what will. I loved it so much

Overly sweet and sappy, yes. But it is nice to see a book focusing on close-knit relationships between fathers and daughters going about their day together while the mom is at work. The illustrations glow. The repeating phrase, "On days like today, when mommies are away, daddies and daughters stick together!" It is great to see a father participating in the normal home routines that books usually reserve for women. The simplicity and ease of the story and illustration are sure to make this a perfect baby shower gift.

A much needed book in the parent-child relationship canon.

Such a cute book. I loved so much about it. The wording of when the moon and the sun switch places was beautiful! Cute photos! The story held my daughter's attention from beginning to end and as a true daddy's girl, she loved the book "Daddies and Daughters Stick Together". I liked the gender roles are different than the norm, but my personal favorite was the homeschooling aspect. This is definitely a book that I would add to our personal library and recommend to all my homeschooling friends!

Wow, what an incredibly moving read. Aissatou Balde and Diariatou Sow wrote a story based on the unconventional narrative of a stay at home dad whose love for his daughters is so clearly shown through his cooking, his teaching, their daily affirmations and more. It was so eye opening and refreshing to read a book that changes the way we look at a ‘typical’ family dynamic. The story was so touching, I had tears in my eyes by the end. The illustrations are bright and beautiful and connect to the story perfectly. This is a book that should be in every home and every classroom.
