I throughly enjoyed this snip-it! Katee know's how to write spice and engaging characters.. Why choose is always a wild card. I worry about balance and the dynamic that each character has in this relationship. Katee (obvi) does an excpetional job of engaging all three parts of in the narrative

I read this book so long ago and had forgotten to write my review.

I love everything that Katee Robert writes, but there is something so perfect and addicting about an Achilles, Patroclus, and Helen book. I loved the existing relationship between Achilles and Patroclus. They were so sweet and perfect together and then bringing Helen in throughout the games to become the new Ares just made the relationship between all three of them that much better.

This book had everything. It had the drama of the games, such spicy MMF romance, and Helen just getting everything she deserves after the way her family had treated her.

I will continue to demolish every single book in this series like my life depends on it.

Katee Roberts has really outdone herself on this one. She has an incredible ability to spin a story that’s captivating and provocative, and this one’s no different. While this is just a preview, it was an incredible introduction to the book, a zesty more pantheon approach to Helen of Troy and the Trojan War. The main question: what happens when the only option for a woman is to fight for her freedom and place in her family? Finally, will have to sit down and read the whole book because I devoured that!

I received this Arc from Netgalley. Thank you for the chance to read this book early. My review is honest and 100% my own thoughts about the book.

This was a Preview of Wicked Beauty. Like he Roth work I really liked her story weaving of the Olympus world and the relation ship between the characters were natural. These relationships don’t feel forced at all. I will say that I was a little disappointed when the preview ended because I wanted more. I will be getting this book in a physical copy to continue reading. Thank you so much for your work Katee Robert. I live your stories. I also love that your stories are spicy. They kept me wanting more!

A new take on Helen of Troy. Helen is competing for the role of Ares in the 13 against some great foes including Achilles and his lover Patrocles. I really liked that the “traditional” story is woven with the less traditional story and made the 3 characters blend together well. The 5 chapters weren’t enough, so I picked this up before writing my review.
I hoped that Ares would turn out to be the one I picked and that taking the role of Ares didn’t mean that they had to give up what had developed over the story.

I really enjoyed Neon Gods and Electric Idol and am excited for the rest of the series. This was a great preview and has definitely left me needing to read more now. I know I always enjoy Katee Robert's books, she has great story, spice and characters and can see that Wicked Beauty will not disappoint.

Amazing is the only word I think of when reading anything written by Katee Robert. You think the previous two books of the series were extremely hot and temping? Think again! The third book will exceed your highest expectations! This book is not just hot, it's fiery, explosive, steamy, I could go on forever about this book. There are so many explicit, intense scenes make you hyperventilate! The chemistry between ménage a trois can burn the entire Olympus down to soot and ash!

The power balance between the trio is fantastic! I'm very much into Reverse Harem, but have never read a MFM before so this was quite surprising. It highly intrigued me because this book is more than erotic romance. The big race between opponents to become the next Ares was truly heart throbbing, exciting, and action packed. This book will make you start stress eating while you're flipping the pages and almost give you a heart attack. But I have come to recently find that this is just Katee Robert's style of writing and I live for it. Your heart will be caught in your mouth, and you'll be sweating and praying that your team wins the dangerous and vicious tournament. There's Olympus politics, sexism, secret schemings, and power games mixed with the extra steamy, spicy sex scenes and heart pounding action. The power dynamic between Helen, Achilles and Patroclus was incredible.

Determined, dominant, and stubborn, Helen understands politics and uses her beauty as a weapon. She was abandoned and used by her family but she is so much more than just a pretty face. Ambitious, pretentious, quiet and stubborn, Achilles is a brilliant warrior who doesn't know too much about politics and ruling an empire. These two are both fiery, impulsive and dominant so Patroclus balances them out perfectly with his intelligent, calm, and diplomatic characteristics. Nerdy, caring and sweet, he puts Helen and Achilles before himself. The trio's extreme chemistry is unbelievable, in a good way. They aren't just physically fitting each other's needs but emotionally too.

Overall, Katee Robert does it again with another incredible story filled with dangerous competition, powerful characterization, cameos of previous books' characters, and spicy hot scenes. Highly recommend to anyone wanting an amazingly detailed story where you get to revisit characters from previous books and fall in love with each and every story she writes. 5 out ot 5 stars once again to the amazing Katee Robert.

So many thanks to NetGalley for sharing this amazing digital reviewer copy with me in exchange my honest thoughts. All thoughts and opinions in this review are my own.

Katee Robert does it again. And this time it’s Poly! I loved the relationship between Achilles and Patroclus and the addition of Helen is done so well that you never question it. All set in that backdrop of Olympus. As always, asks as many questions as it answers and I adore the intrigue alongside the romance

Even though this was just a preview, I've since had the chance to read the entire book and I absolutely loved it! Katee Robert does a magnificent job writing both queer and poly romances and this was no exception. This series is a great example of both good plot and great romance. I loved the way the characters came together and the spice was exceptional as always.

A good taster for the whole book, that kicks the story off quickly. Even if some of the established mythology isn't always on point (to be fair, who's to say after so many retellings?), the choices made look like they're working for the story to fizz.

Thanks to the publisher for this advance teaser copy..

I haven't read anything by Katee Roberts before but I was happily surprised with how quickly she developed relationships. Sometimes a story can drag before you get some action. And the sex plot wasn't the only interesting part of this book. I feel like it could stand alone without if needed. (but of course we don't want that)

This preview had me needing to read more!

This was just fanfiction where the author wrote in the names of Greek myths and called it a day.

I get it. It's just a porno. But even a fraction of effort put into the research for the mythology behind these names would have improved this book- if only a little. Why not have a threesome with Helen, Paris, and Menelaus? Or Briseis, Achilles, and Patroclus? Unfortunately, the writing is poor too. Her attempts at inclusivity are blatantly shoved in and painfully obvious.

I should have quit and run after Neon Gods. Her writing is predictable and unchanging- I hoped for some improvement since Neon Gods but have not found any.

This scorchin preview teases us as to what we can expect in this exciting story about a woman not willing to be used as a pawn in a game of control. Who will win the trial and be part of the thirteen?

A dark, vivid, gripping story in a world that only Katee can deliver!

If the book says Katee Robert, sign me up! This was an unfair treat because I just wanted to keep reading.

Thank you NetGalley for the preview ARC. I am my own person so the above opinions are my own.

This is retelling of the Helen of Troy Greek myth. As this was a preview, it was only the first five chapters, but the writing was good, the characters were engaging, and the story was intriguing. These first chapters were a great taste test and I can't wait to read the rest of the story. I may have to read all of the Dark Olympus series by Katee Robert.
