This book gave me so many vibes: the hunger games and  Harry Potter. But honestly what sold me the most was the characters Achilles, Patroclus and Helen. They were meant to be together.

This book was action-packed from start to finish and it didn't take long for the characters to turn up the spice. The banter between them was on point and kept me laughing through the whole book. Each of these characters had their burdens to bear with each other. But they found a way against all the odds to be the missing piece they all needed. Achilles and Patroclus just have this unique way of taking down all of the walls Helen puts up.

Even though Achilles and Patroclus have been together so long and know each other so well they were able to continue to learn more about each other with Helen in the mix. They also saw the real Helen and showed her what it could be like if she let them in. They didn't want to treat her like everyone else did; they wanted to see her grow and become her best self.

I had so many emotions during this book and the trials they went through were very stressful for me to read, but it's what kept me rooted in the story. But these characters all showed each other why they were meant to be in the tournament. The biggest question is can they find a way to be together forever even when Achilles and Helen are after the same title? Will Patroclus stand by Achilles or Helen? Can they survive what will happen next?

I do really enjoy this series. The characters are deep! This one was STEAMY!! A lot of fire the whole book! Unconventional too. I really enjoyed the dynamic between Helen, Achilles, and Petroclus. The idea of the “games/fighting” kind of reminded me a little of other books/movies I’ve seen. It had its own spin with Helen being a woman and going for Ares throne! I enjoyed the female inclusion. As always, Katee Robert has a great way of multiple POV chapters as well! Overall I recommend this one if you like steamy, the Greek gods, and dark romance.

Honestly not what I was expecting. I have read a lot of great things about this author but I dont think that these books are going to be for me.

Wicked Beauty by Katee Robert is a perfect fit for readers who crave a scorching and emotional romance, with a strong focus on LGBTQIA+ representation, Greek mythology, and themes of power, desire, and self-discovery, all set against a backdrop of high-stakes competition and danger.

I absolutely loved neon gods! And this was definitely up there too!! I love this whole retelling series.

Intriguing. While an earlier book in this longer series, the preview hooks you and makes you want to read more. It’s also a unique take on Greek mythology in a modern setting. That said, the city this book takes place in is really something you have to suspend you disbelief for.

I throughly enjoyed this snip-it! Katee know's how to write spice and engaging characters.. Why choose is always a wild card. I worry about balance and the dynamic that each character has in this relationship. Katee (obvi) does an excpetional job of engaging all three parts of in the narrative

I read this book so long ago and had forgotten to write my review.

I love everything that Katee Robert writes, but there is something so perfect and addicting about an Achilles, Patroclus, and Helen book. I loved the existing relationship between Achilles and Patroclus. They were so sweet and perfect together and then bringing Helen in throughout the games to become the new Ares just made the relationship between all three of them that much better.

This book had everything. It had the drama of the games, such spicy MMF romance, and Helen just getting everything she deserves after the way her family had treated her.

I will continue to demolish every single book in this series like my life depends on it.

this series has taken so many turns that i never expected. one thing katee robert is going to do is make things new and interesting! the character dynamics between the three characters in this poly romance are the star of the show. can’t wait to read the rest of the series.

Katee Roberts has really outdone herself on this one. She has an incredible ability to spin a story that’s captivating and provocative, and this one’s no different. While this is just a preview, it was an incredible introduction to the book, a zesty more pantheon approach to Helen of Troy and the Trojan War. The main question: what happens when the only option for a woman is to fight for her freedom and place in her family? Finally, will have to sit down and read the whole book because I devoured that!

I have been a big fan of katee Robert for a long time now. Even just her previews have me obsessed. I read this book in its entirety and could not put it down.

This was a Preview of Wicked Beauty. Like he Roth work I really liked her story weaving of the Olympus world and the relation ship between the characters were natural. These relationships don’t feel forced at all. I will say that I was a little disappointed when the preview ended because I wanted more. I will be getting this book in a physical copy to continue reading. Thank you so much for your work Katee Robert. I live your stories. I also love that your stories are spicy. They kept me wanting more!

A new take on Helen of Troy. Helen is competing for the role of Ares in the 13 against some great foes including Achilles and his lover Patrocles. I really liked that the “traditional” story is woven with the less traditional story and made the 3 characters blend together well. The 5 chapters weren’t enough, so I picked this up before writing my review.
I hoped that Ares would turn out to be the one I picked and that taking the role of Ares didn’t mean that they had to give up what had developed over the story.

I really enjoyed Neon Gods and Electric Idol and am excited for the rest of the series. This was a great preview and has definitely left me needing to read more now. I know I always enjoy Katee Robert's books, she has great story, spice and characters and can see that Wicked Beauty will not disappoint.
