I knew I needed Helen's story whhen this intriguing character was introduced in Electric Idol, but I had no idea which direction it was going to take. wow! Katee Robert is a master storyteller who really knows how to make you crave a book. Can't wait to read the full version!

I love this series, and I can't wait to confront my own insecurities through another Katee Robert heroine. June can't come soon enough.

I have received a full arc of this book and will be doing a review of it once I have read it. Rating 4 stars based on the small bit of the preview I read so far. Characters were equivalent to previous books in this series and I am enjoying it.

The Preview of Wicked Beauty is an addicting appetizer to what the third book in the Dark Olympus series is going to be and I cannot wait for this book to release. Katee Robert is an instant purchase with every addition to her catalog.

Well... if I wasn't excited before this preview I would be now! This 5 chapter preview made me both excited for the release of this book but also annoyed that's its a few months away!

We got to see more of Helen in the previous book Electric Idol but here she is centre stage with Achilles and Patroclus. I can't wait to see how these three come together but also take on the contest for the position of Ares - especially as 2 of them really want the title!

Really love Katee Roberts' world building in the Dark Olympus series so can't wait to read this and any other books she writes in this world.

I kindly received a sample of the first five chapters of this book through Sourcebooks Casablanca and Netgalley, and so my review is just for what I've read so far.

Katee Robert builds an interesting world where the names of Olympian gods are not so much individuals of their own right, but titles that can be inherited or won. Helen Kasios, Patroclus and Achilles are all competing for the newly available title of Ares-- seemingly, each with their unique motivations.

I enjoyed the premise of Achilles and Patroclus' open relationship, and the snippet of it that was available in the sample definitely makes me want to see more. Patroclus finding that Helen is more than the spoilt airhead the media makes her out to be and Achilles experiencing unexpected jealousy definitely makes me curious about how the dynamics between the three of them will progress.

So far, Wicked Beauty has a fun set up, engaging characters, and is already rather steamy. I'm excited to hand sell this title and read the rest myself when it arrives in June.

These chapters were so good that I am actually shaking with how badly I need the rest of this book. These next four months are going to SLOG by until Wicked Beauty can rest in my grubby little hands. Katee knows how to write a book that will knock you OUT and the epic set up for this one promises to make the reader need to hold themselves together and try not to lose it.

As a fan of Katee Roberts’ writing style and of this series, I am pleasantly unsurprised that the next installment of the dark Olympus series is even better than expected.

The relationship between Achilles and Patroclus becomes more complicated when Helen steps into the picture as another competitor for the trials to decide who will become the new Ares. Three different perspectives is new as previous books usually only have two perspectives, but it seems all three characters will be playing an important role.

As this sample was only a sneak peak into the first five chapters, it leaves the reader wanting to know more. Roberts knows how to hook her audience from the start of her books and Wicked Beauty is no exception.

On page 25 of chapter three I did notice what appears to be a name error. Helen is confronting Zeus about naming her a prize to be won, however, the author writes Patroclus’ name in place of what seems should be Perseus, or Zeus’, name. Otherwise, the book does a great job keeping names straight, which is a feat for how many characters show up as the dark Olympus stories continue to unfold.

This reader will be excitedly awaiting the release of this title to find out which way this trio’s fates end!

Thank you for this preview but I’m almost upset that I read it—I can’t stop thinking about it. I am foaming at the mouth for more of this story! I can’t wait to see what happens with Helen, Patroclus, and Achilles, in more ways than one. *eyebrow waggle*

I’ve read the other Olympus books but Katee Robert and this is the one that sucked me in the most from the very beginning. And that’s nothing against the other two, it’s just that this one is THAT interesting.

I love how Katee Robert writes. This Greek retelling sucked me in right from the first line. I love how she has built the character dynamic already and it's just the first 5 chapters. I wanted to read more but will have to wait until June!

Katee Robert’s playful handling of Greek mythology feels intentional and solid. But you won’t feel like you’re reading the Iliad with the spicy dialogue and snappy plot of Wicked Beauty, despite Achilles, Patroclus, and Helen playing the main characters.

Robert’s interpretation of Helen is breathtakingly fierce. A powerfully confident woman with something to prove, I can’t wait to find out if her bite matches her bark. Patroclus is a buttoned-up glutton for numbers, but beneath his unrumpled exterior is a current of untapped passion. Achilles was my least favorite of the three main characters, but I have a sneaking suspicion that he’ll be the kind of character to grow on you. His dubious morality and singular focus are traits I’ve loved in book-boyfriends past. Overall, the characters feel rich and fully realized.

Wicked Beauty promises to be exciting, sexy, and unpredictable. I can’t wait to get my hands on the rest.

This books is really good and I really loved the dynamic between the characters. The first five chapters make you crave more of the story! Unfortunately, we will have to wait to continue reading it and I cannot wait to fully finish it!

This is a phenomenal read! With a trio of points of view from three brilliant characters and a wonderful new take on well-known mythology, it draws you in from the very first line. Anyone who has the slightest interest in Greek mythology will love this book (even if you don't care for mythology the tale itself is fantastic), Wicked Beauty has a unique way of bringing to life our favourite gods and beings from mythology. The uniqueness comes in the roles our favourite gods and goddesses play within the story, we see gods who usually are heroes portrayed more like villains.
Unlike anything I've read Wicked Beauty instantly raises the stakes, changes our views, and reverses all our expectations. Watching as these literal gods and goddesses are put in situations that leave even them spinning in confusion brings to light a completely new point of view. It was impossible to put down, I cannot wait to see where these characters go throughout the rest of the story! I've been hooked and I'm desperate to know the outcome.
A shocking combination of mythology, competition, drama, and potential romance unlike any other retelling of mythology I've read.

Wicked Beauty by Katee Robert is a book that I am impatiently waiting to see released! Everyone should be keeping their eyes out for this wonderful author and this equally brilliant book!

This is my first introduction into Katee Roberts’ Dark Olympus series and I am absolutely certain that I will be devouring the first two books SOON. The world-building is seamless even though this is the third of the series. The characters are unique and so interesting even when they’re not immediately likable which is probably my favorite part. Cannot wait to read all the books and this one especially!

Katee Robert can do no wrong in my book and this start to the next installment of the Dark Olympus series is really great. I am excited to see a throuple coming in this series and cannot wait to see who will be the next Ares! I think this one is set to be the best book yet! Thank you NetGalley and Sourcebooks Casablanca for the opportunity to read this preview sample!

Katee Robert's writing is so good and this retelling series she's been doing is one of my favorite things! I love mythology and retelling them as erotic stories is just everything I didn't realize I needed. I'm very much looking forward to reading this latest installment and these first chapters have just made me even more excited.

I'm so excited about the rest of this book! The first 5 chapters were NOT enough. I love the dynamic between Helen, Achilles, and Patroclus already. The characters are interesting and I'm super into the competition on who will be Ares.

Thank you to NetGalley for this advanced preview copy in exchange for my honest opinion.

I got to read the first five chapters of this book and I can't wait to see how the rest of the story plays out! I absolutely adore Katee Robert's take on Greek mythology. I highly recommend this series as well as her other books!

Something I really enjoy and appreciate about Katee Robert’s books is how she drops you right into the action. This is even more true in the 3rd installment of the Dark Olympus series, which takes right off with the great set-up of the competition to claim the newly available title of Ares, open to all.
After getting to know the MCs a bit in the first few chapters I’m looking forward to the whole book in June + a proper review and rating.
Thanks to NetGalley and the author for this 5 chapter preview.
