I am so so soooo excited for Wicked Beauty! This taste has me hooked and desperately waiting for the release (agony thy name is June).

A new Ares must be chosen to complete the Thirteen and Helen intends to take the role. Now with her brother and sister in the Thirteen, she intends to become their equal, only to become the prize for winning Ares. The title Achilles plans to win, with Patroclus helping him.

Helen decides to not give up and enters the competition, only to meet Patroclus, her childhood friend, outside. As Patroclus gets a glimpse into the real Helen, he feels something for her that's new. Something he knows Achilles won't like, especially when she makes it clear she would have him.

Now Patroclus' brilliant mind is working...

"We’d planned for the marriage to be in name only, but…what if it wasn’t?"

I already love all these characters, especially Patroclus! I know he's the overlooked ones who will be essential and cannot wait to see it all unfold!

I can't wait to see what Helen has up her sleeves, how Achilles will handle her, and how this challenges Patroclus' feelings and status quo. They're gonna fuck shit up in Olympus, more than Eris could probably hope!

Katee is already delivering a hot, intriguing tale in the first five chapters. I will be anxiously awaiting the full novel!!!

Gosh this little preview was such a TEASE! I did it to myself though lol. I can not wait for the book to come out so I can get my hands on it! I loved the other two so I am sure to fall in love with this one as well.

Having recently finished the first two books in this series, "Neon Gods" and "Electric Idol", I was thrilled to get my hands on a preview of "Wicked Beauty." I love Katee Robert's attention to detail when it comes to building the world of a modern Olympus and giving new life to such famed characters. I can't wait to read more about Helen's fight for her own future. As always, Robert brings the heat and I can only imagine how much hotter the rest of this book will be. Can't wait to read the full book!

This was absolutely delectable. I fell in love with Robert's Dark Olympus series and immediately wanted to get a brief glimpse into her other novels. After finishing this, I ran to the bookstore to pre-order the book for when it comes out.

This preview was excellent! I'm already so invested in the characters and am counting down until the book is released in a few months. Helen is proving to be a strong female character not willing to be a pawn in other people's games, and I cannot wait to see her story unfold. I've always been fascinated with Greek mythology and this is such a fun twist on classic characters. I can't wait to read more!

Loved the first 2 books in the Neon Gods series and the preview for this one doesn't disappoint. The author describing 3 characters as "white" bothered me in the first couple chapters because they were so close together and I think a better description can be given for what a character looks like. Overall, can't wait to read the rest!

I love the Dark Olympus series. Neon Gods and Electric Idol were amazing. I was thrilled when NetGalley posted a 5 chapter preview of Wicked Beauty! I immediately devoured it.

Wicked Beauty centers around the competition for the new Ares. Ares is not an inherited position. In fact, candidates (from anywhere) compete in three public competitions. Helen Kasios (sister to the current Zeus and Aphrodite) wants to compete to become Ares. However, her brother surprises her by announcing that in addition to becoming Ares, the winner of the public competition will also get her as their wife. Helen is not thrilled with becoming a prize and decides to compete anyway.

The story is told in multiple points of view. In addition to Helen's perspective, we also get to see Achilles and Patroclus's points of view. Both men are together (this story is MMF!) and also competing to be Ares. Achilles was not born in the inner circle and wants to fight to become a part of it. Patroclus is only joining the competition to help Achilles.

This preview for Wicked Beauty sets up the story beautifully. I am already captivated by the characters. I am interested in learning more about Helen and who she really is beyond her public perception. This little glimpse of our characters interacting was jam packed with sexual energy and tension. I can't wait to see how they come together.

I am so grateful for this little tease, but I can't wait for the rest! June needs to hurry up!

What an amazing introduction!! I love the dynamic between these three characters, the charged tension between Achilles and Helen, the closeness with Helen and Patroclus, the entirely-too-casual-but-really-isn't relationship between Patroclus and Achilles. I love the backdrop of the trials as well, the fight be the next Ares, one of the Thirteen. I have no idea who will come out on top, which only makes me want to read the whole story even more.

Definitely worth the hype, if you are into menage romance novels.

4.5 STARS for this 5 CHAPTER PREVIEW

***Thanks to NetGalley & Sourcebooks Casablanca***

I love a Katee Robert thruple and this book preview promises to deliver. I was instantly hooked by the premise, and loved seeing all the Dark Olympus characters and locations from the first 2 books. Achilles, Patroclus & Helen are going to be showstoppers I can already tell.

Available June 7, 2022. Is it Summer yet? ❤️🖤

If the only job of these preview chapters is to make me want to read Wicked Beauty when it comes out, then this definitely succeeded. Wicked Beauty is sure to be an incredibly interesting dive into political court intrigue, along with a romance pairing that I am now very invested in. It laid out what to be expected perfectly, and made me want more. Additionally, I’m looking forward to seeing how the various characters develop, and how the relationship will ultimately fit together. After this hint, I can’t wait to read the book and see what happens next!

Is it too early to say this is going to be a 5 star read?!

I am beyond sold on this book, based on this preview. We have a MMF set up and they are all perfect. Not to mention Helen is a badass heroine who will not let others dictate her path.

I am beyond excited to read more and I don’t know how I’m going to last until June to continue this story. But I will be anxiously awaiting this book.

I'm excited for this one. I think I'm going to enjoy the dynamic between Helen, Achilles and Patroclus. I like the relationship between the two men, they seem to really care for each other. I think Helen is going to be a powerhouse. I can't wait for her to show up everyone and prove herself to all of Olympus, especially her siblings.

I'm so glad we will have 3 POVs, and I loved Helen since the first, June 7th should come sooner to read the rest!

I read the first two books of this series as fast as I could. The world building is exciting and the stories are intense, and very sexy. When I had the opportunity to read the first five chapters of the upcoming title, I jumped. I'm sure I'm not the only one waiting for Perseus/Zeus and Callisto/Hera's story, but this is not it. I was not at all disappointed to see that it was Helen, Hercules, and Patroclus's story reimagined here, and I cannot wait to read it through the end. I will be buying this for my library, and again for myself.

Katee Robert is one of my favourite authors right now. Wicked Beauty is the next installment in the Olympus series and it sounds as though it's going to be just as fun as the others. I can't wait to see how the tournament plays out!

“She’s like some old-word queen who could inspire entire countries to go to war on her behalf.” -Patroclus

This latest installment of the Dark Olympus series is so fun! Although we only got a mere glimpse with this sneak peek, I love the world building with a twist through Robert’s lens with each addition to the series. Watching the storyline unfurl through characters on the periphery of ones we already love, the inclusion of Helen, Patroclus, Achilles, hector, Paris, Ajax, Athena, etc. makes for a great read.

Having recently read Madeline Miller's The Song of Achilles, the mythological tale is relatively fresh with familiarity and therefore I was able to really love Robert's take on the love story between Achilles and Patroclus. It was a trip to explore Robert’s vision as it unfolds and weaves into her already established realm with the added elements of a competition for the Ares title and a fluid love triangle between Achilles, Helen and Patroclus. Never underestimate someone with a public party girl reputation!

I will be looking forward to reading the rest of the book upon its release and have my fingers crossed for a full ARC!

Thank you Net Galley, Katee and Sourcebooks Casablanca for the ability to peek a preview of this highly anticipated book!
