OMG this is such a TEASE - I need more now! Patroclus and Achilles are so damn sexy together. Chapter five is smoldering with their acts of forgiveness/apology with each other.

What is going to happen with this tournament???? Anxious for the pub date...

OH MY GOSH!!! This book is going to be AMAZING!!! I can’t wait until it’s released!! I can already tell that the dynamic between the characters is going to be incredible!

I don’t think I’ve ever become invested with characters as quickly as I have within these first 5 chapters of Wicked Beauty. I love that we will see all 3 POVs. And I think the jealousy between Achilles & Helen will be explosive. The chaotic part of me can’t wait to see it come to a head. And while similar to the first two books in starting off right with the action, this one takes it a step further by giving us some SPICE too!!! June can’t come soon enough; I think I already have a book hangover from Wicked Beauty.

This was SO good.

It is probably too early to say that while I LOVED Neon Gods, and I just finished Electric Idol a couple of days ago and really, really liked that one too, this honestly might be my favorite in the series so far. I am really, really curious to see how the dynamics between all three characters play out, as well as how the tournament will work out.

My favorite aspects of this set up include:

- Helen standing up for herself and going against the things her family expects.
- Patroclus & Achilles' open relationship - I have very little experience with open relationships (in real life or in literature) so I am excited to see how their relationship/s form.
- The fact that this is going to be both a childhood friends-to-lovers and an enemies-to-lovers plot.

Overall, I am really excited about this novel and I can't wait to read the full thing. Katee, if you see this, I'd love the full arc when that time comes.

After Neon Gods and Electric Idol, Katee Roberts has dialed up the heat in Wicked Beauty - a story about Helen of Troy, Achilles, and Patroclus. This book looks AMAZING!!! I love the dynamic between everyone and I’m already swoooooooning over Patroclus. I’m really excited to see how Roberts writes a poly trio. Helen is so badass too and I can’t wait for this to be released!!!

The first few chapters of this book have me HOOKED! I can’t wait to read more about Helen, Achilles, and Patroclus. I think Helen gets a bad rap in history but Katee Robert’s version of her is pure badass. Readers can’t help but root for her as she tries to make her own way in the deeply political and misogynistic city of Olympus. I am super excited to read the full Wicked Beauty soon!

I have no words for how excited I am for this one. I’m really glad we are taking a diversion from the sisters and following someone else. These five chapters were such a tease and I’m already in love with the characters. Add in the competition aspect and It seems like the recipe for a great time.

This is my first Katee Robert book and these first five chapters pull you in and set the stage for what I am certain will be a book of political intrigue, complex characters and a whole lot of steamy scenes.

The Iliad is one of my favorite classics and I am always drawn in by any mentions of Achilles and Patroclus. Having a three dimensional Helen in pursuit of agency for herself only makes it better.

Very much looking forward to the complete book in the future!

5 chapters is not enough!! I know relatively little about the history of Helen and the other characters but that didn’t impact the story. It was a bit confusing at first; however, I was able to sort it out relatively quickly. I can’t wait until June to see how everyone reacts to Helen competing!

I know this is only the preview but I CANNOT WAIT FOR THIS. It's so perfect - getting this tease just makes me want to read the whole book immediately.

I read this preview full well knowing that it was just a preview and yet when I got to the last page, I was still soooooo upset because I wanted more of all of it!! Katee Robert has a way of creating an intense story in only a few chapters! Not only that. but she created 3 different protagonists and gave them each enough page space to make them interesting, and exciting! In this story Ares is gone and the characters are gathering for a competition to choose the next Ares. Anyone is eligible so although Helen is the bonus prize for the winner she goes forward with her plan to compete! We met Helen in the last book and she was a straight up party girl so it was interesting to see her gain new dimensions so quickly. I am already on team Helen and the competition hasn't even started when the preview ended. BUT I'm also on team Patroclus and team Achilles because WOW they were a lot. Hot soldiers, one a hot head and one a strategist. One with endless ambition and the other wants to hang back and just help. Both in a 10 year open relationship and with a pull towards Helen and all the emotional and sexy complications that brings.

If you read this preview, be prepared to nearly drop your ereader when you realize you have run out of pages and essentially go through the 5 stages of grief because it was that good. Looking forward to the full ARC being posted and fingers crossed I get selected to read it. Katee Robert has another best seller on her hands for sure.

Katee Robert's world of Dark Olympus and its inhabitants, has become a firm and steamy favourite for both myself and continuous people around the world, and with this preview of the third book in the series--Wicked Beauty--it is not hard to see why.

I've not even started Electric Idol yet--I have the paperback, and I'm about to pick it up--and already I'm brimming with excitement for book three! This was a preview that knocked my bookish socks off! The temptation was too strong to resist the preview but I am not sorry in the slightest. It, for want of a word, was wickedly beautiful.

As a reader of several steamy reads--with several more in my TBR list--I was genuinely surprised at how in only a preview of what's to come, just how steamy and lip-biting things could really be!

Katee Robert continues to add spice on top of spice, while retaining the interest of both new and existing readers alike. With this preview, it's clear that we're going to be kept on our toes, entertained--as are the characters in the books themselves--, and guessing where things are going until the a-ha moment itself is revealed to us. And I'm looking forward very much so in discovering that moment myself come June.

Wicked Beauty takes a different path to both of its predecessors, promising a story full of the forbidden, the fruitful, and plenty of frolics while destiny and/or fate weaves its path around and under those who live in the various layers that make up the enticing--and mysterious--city of Olympus.

This book, as is the series, is definitely one to watch and should grace the ebooks and bookshelves of many a reader across the world. I simply can't get enough.

I AM SO FREAKING HYPED UP! I just finished Electric Idol a week ago, I love every page of it. And when I saw this I freaking screamed.

Helen with Achilles and Patroclus. Helen, Patroclus, and Achilles want to compete for the position of Ares. But Zeus announced that the person who will win the position of Ares will be married to Helen. So in return, Helen can't compete for that position or so we thought she can't

Five chapters are not enough. I might die waiting for this book to come out.

I usually don’t tease myself with short previews of books that I’m months away from reading, but after just finishing Electric Idol, I couldn’t resist downloading the first 5 chapters of the next book in the series. My only disappointment is that I can’t read the rest of the book. Right. This. Minute.

Wicked Beauty is the story of the competition for the next Ares, and Helen, Achilles, and Patroclus all all competing. This is after Helen’s brother has added marriage to her as part of the prize. Achilles has wanted to be Ares for a long time, and his lover Patroclus has entered the race so he can watch Achilles’ back.

The way Robert draws the machinations of the Olympians can’t be beat. This short preview gives readers a taste of the intrigue twists, and of course steam ahead, and I can’t wait to read more!
