I'm so happy that this series is continuing. Although I only read the extended preview, it was just as good as the other two books and I can’t wait to read the full book when it comes out. Once again, the Thirteen are ready to find out who will win to become the new Ares. And the winner gets the prize of not only becoming Ares but also marrying Helen. Helen decides that as much of a prize as she is, she isn’t one to be won and she will not let her brother offer her as a prize to the winner so she does what Helen does and enters to become the next Ares.
*full review will follow since this was only a preview version*
I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

What a tease,,, i can’t wait for the book to come out . Kate Roberts is such a great writer and the sensualness of this follow up to Electric Idols was everything. How does she meld Greek mythos with modern topics is amazing

This teaser of the first few chapters is fantastic! It's great getting a peek at the characters and the dynamic that the author is creating between them. I can't wait to get to read the entire thing!

Grateful to Netgalley and the publishers for making this sneak peak or the first five chapters of Wicket Beauty available early! This upcoming installment in the Dark Olympus series is going to be such a good one. Katee Robert has a real way with words, and I'm so excited to see more from Helen of Troy, Achilles, and Patroclus. If you love a spicy romance (and maybe also if you loved Song of Achilles), put this on your TBR now!

I have been loving at the attention Robert is getting for this series because it is so well deserved. It has everything you could want from a fantasy romance, a well thought out plot, creative characters and a lot of spice. I highly recommend this series as well as her other amazing books.

Yet another amazing Dark Olympus book! I love this story about Helen competing to be the new Ares and getting to know Achilles and his boyfriend a bit better. I love this series and will keep reading it.

I read Neon Gods and Electric Idol in January and loved them. The world of Olympus that Katee has created is intriguing and spicy. The first 5 chapters of this were not enough, I wanted more! I am looking forward to learning more about Helen. In the first 5 chapters we see a whole new side of her than what we have seen in previous books. She is determined and fighting for her independence. I was so happy when Eros made an appearance. He is my favorite and so sweet under his rough exterior. I thought it was a really sweet scene when he helps Helen fix her hair. I am also hoping we see more of Callisto in this book. I want to know more about her relationship with Zeus. I really liked Patroclus from the first 5 chapters, he and Achilles have an interesting but undefined relationship and with his history with Helen, it will be fun to see how it pans out. His interaction with Helen outside of Athena’s house was really good and had me wanting to see more between them. This book might be the spiciest one yet and I am ready for it! I am so looking forward to June 7th to read Wicked Beauty in full.

Katee Robert has a way with words that's just otherworldly. Whenever I read one of her books I'm always getting this fluttering in my stomach, sometimes about the feelings you just can't help but share with the characters, other times because the scenes are just so damn captivating I can't even blink. Helen is fierce and it's so great to see a different side of her, besides the bubly persona she puts up for others. Achilles is a little bit of an ass, but you can see the heart of gold that lies beneath. And Patroclus just sounds like that gorgeous, kind, smart kid that grew up and wants to care for everyone. You can't help but fall in love with them. And that's just from 5 chapters! I'm really looking forward to reading about the trials and everything this trio gets up to. June can't get here soon enough!

I have just read the Preview thanks to #Netgalley and I can tell you that this one will be JUICCCCCY!

In this one we follow Helen, the new Zeus sister. With the passing of the previous Aries, the competition for the new one will began and Helen wants to join the race. Except, before she can make her desires known her brother, Perseus, announces that she will be given in marriage to the next Aries (Damn, her heart is crushed!). But of course Helen is not going to give up without a fight even if it means that she has to join one.

I particularly liked a line where Zeus tell her that whoever marries her would have to treat her right or he will make her a widow. That line did something to me. Not to overthink, but I just consider families were your loyalty and commitment ranked based on your acceptance of their abuse!

Anyways, we also have Achilles and Patroclus who are absolutely fucking! Achilles will be joining the competition. There is a lot of sexual tension between Patroclus and Helen, and honestly I can feel a threesome in the future of this book. Just saying!

Wow, based on the first five chapters this will be a steamy read with a really cool premise. I like the tournament setting, and have always loved the re-examining of Patroclus and Achilles’s relationship.

Let me start off with saying I am an absolute sucker for Greek Mythology and anything to do with Greek Gods in general. So obviously I loved this book. I was a little confused at the beginning of the book, but it was pretty easy to figure everything out. Will def be buying this as soon as it comes out!

I'm a huge fan of Katee Robert's work, and I am so excited to get my hands on the whole book! Mythology retellings are my absolute favorites, and Katie never fails to turn myths into much more interesting stories. As of reading the first five chapters, I can say that this book is absolutely going to be so good!

This book was just not my cup of tea. For one thing, the profanity was a little overboard to me. When the very first line of the book contains an F-bomb, you know you're in for a wild ride. I was excited because I thought it was a retelling of Greek mythology, but the way it is written makes it read more like a futuristic, sci-fi book. Which I am unfortunately just not into. I do like that the protagonist is a strong-willed female as opposed to a damsel in distress, but, aside from that, I did not care for this sample and would not choose to read the rest of the book.

Oh man Katee can honestly do no wrong. This preview was everything I needed to hold me over until the book comes out. This is one of my most anticipated books for the summer!

YES. Just YES. The fact that these 5 chapters are both engaging and masterfully written is absolutely no surprise when you see who the author is. I am already hooked on this story, and can't wait to see what Helen does moving forward. June 7th is too far away, but for this author the wait is worth it!

With only the first 5 chapters, I know this book is going to be so good! I already know Helen is going to be one of my new favorite leads. June 7th cannot come fast enough!
