This is a great resource for NetGalley users! The formatting was both easy to read and visually appealing. This resource is mostly useful for beginners, but as an experienced NetGalley reviewer, I even learned a few new tips. I found the social media tips especially helpful as someone who is trying to grow bookish social media accounts. I found the Instagram and blog sections to be the most in depth! Thank you NetGalley for providing us with this comprehensive guide to the site!

I wish I had read this when I signed up for Netgalley. Lots of good tips, even though I've been using it for years. I have been recommending Netgalley for years as well, and directing people to this guide will take away a lot of confusion. I'm giving it 5 stars, not because it's great reading, but because it does what it set out to do and does it quite well.

This is definitely great for newer reviewers and book influencers to get their foot in the door. It was extremely helpful for me in terms of figuring out what to say in reviews and how to structure them, but I must say the social media parts of the book weren’t as helpful. I feel like if that section were to be updated, creators could get more use out of this toolkit.

This was exactly what I needed to help keep myself organized and put my best bookstagram foot forward. I still have a lot of work to do but this really lays out the best path forward and it is easily adaptable to what level of participation you want to go for with books and book content.

Great tips on getting started with NeGalley's advance reader copies and writing reviews. When I originally joined NetGalley, this book was not available. It was nice to see all of their suggestions and tips in one place. I had been on a reading break for a while, and have returned as I have more time to read again. The Book Advocate Toolkit helped remind me of what I had been doing and suggested things I could do to promote reading and hopefully gain access to more advance reader copies.

This guide was extremely helpful when learning how to use NetGalley. I was able to be more organized about requesting books from publishers and writing more beneficial reviews.

I have just recently signed up to Netgalley sand I have just finished reading my first ever ARC. The Book Advocate Toolkit had some really usual advice and how to go about setting up an account, requesting ARCs and how to go about reviewing.

This is a great toolkit to pick up and use immediately to develop reading advocacy skills. It's a document with something to learn for all new reviewers and seasoned readers.
The toolkit is easy to read and follow. Colour, visual prompts, and font size direct the reader to different toolkit sections and provide links for further information.
The toolkit flows well, with information about joining NetGallery, tips about writing book reviews, and tips about using social media to share reviews and books.

I will continue to refer to this toolkit as my journey as a reading advocate progresses.

This is a very helpful and approachable toolkit for starting your journey on NetGalley. When I started last year, I found it quite overwhelming and did not have this toolkit then. As I attempted to try NetGalley again this year, I believe this toolkit is something I will be referring back to and use quite often. The graphics and colours make it a lot more fun and straightforward. I liked that they give you tips on how to up your feedback ratio too.
