Great set of tips and tricks I'll be referring to start reviewing books on social media.
Includes how to utilise Canva, Instagram, Goodreads etc.
Also great insight of what not to do!

A helpful guide to NetGalley for new users such as myself. Will definitely be keeping this one in the library to refer back to!

This was a really helpful guide to getting started with NetGalley. It definitely made it the process make more sense to me!

Super helpful for people starting to write reviews! I was nervous to start using Netgalley, but it was very nice reading this and seeing some tips to improve my reviews.

3 star. Thanks for the tips! Knowing how to navigate NetGalley and the extra tips were helpful. Love when the support is there.

Being brand new to NetGalley, this toolkit was much appreciated! It provides a good high-level overview of what users need to know to get started with reviews.

This toolkit from Netgalley is a concise and helpful resource for newbies and seasoned book reviewers. It starts with the basics, guiding you through setting up your profile and navigating the platform. This information is beneficial for those unfamiliar with NetGalley's interface. The toolkit touches on writing reviews, but newbies may find it does not provide a lot of depth. I found the pointers on maximizing your reach by utilizing different platforms and recommended hashtags most helpful—a welcome addition to any reviewer's tools.

As a new reviewer, this toolkit helped guide me through the review process. I'll definitely refer to it in the future!

A good and helpful guide full of hints and tips for using netgalley. Highly recommend having a read especially if you are new to the platform as this is a handy start up guide

This is an extremely helpful resource for someone new to NetGalley! I will definitely refer back to it in the future! Thank you, WeAreBookish!

This is pretty helpful toolkit that clarified a lot of things for me about NetGalley. It has lot of information and tips that I will definitely be implementing right away. I found the social media tips especially helpful as someone who is trying to grow bookish social media accounts.. Thank you NetGalley for providing this comprehensive guide to the site! This is something I will refer back too many times.

This was a fantastic and user friendly overview that will help you get started on NetGalley. After revving some denials, I grabbed this to get scoop on what I needed for my profile. This walked me through the mechanics in a digestible and visually appealing way. I'd highly suggest every user read this!

Excellent introduction to NetGalley - a bit cartoonish for my tastes, but the content is complete, upbeat, and informative. I was particularly interested in how to recover a tanked ratio...working on that now, although I have now reviewed a few books that I shelved under "no feedback" long ago and my ratio hasn't budged. I don't know why that is - perhaps ones that are too old are not considered reviewable. No matter, I'm going to go through that list. The toolkit is very much worth a read.

This was a super fast read. It won’t give any new information to those with a lot of reviewing experience, but for new people just starting out it’s a wonderful resource.
The book covers:
Review etiquette
How to write a review
Navigating negative feedback
When/not to tag authors
Social media
Creating engaging posts
Canva (free version)
Basic photography tips
How to access review copies
Getting approved by publishers

It was a helpful book in figuring out the complicated world of reviewing books. It offers many tools and solutions from how to give a review to how navigate the social media side of things. This is something I will refer back too many times.

I fjnd it odd being asked to leave a review for this book... asking for feedback, I get, but a review? A bit of self promotion there Netgalley! 😊
Okay... it's an okay book. I've been a terrible reviewer in recent years as I've had some severe health conditions to fight. So, I've been grabbing books to read, when well enough, but not reviewing. So my stats are terrible. Which is why I downloaded my free copy of this book.
It helped a little, but us really aimed at those new to Netgalley. And I think it a great companion book for said newbies.
Me? I found it a little condescending at times... but I'm a cynical "old" reviewer set in her ways. For someone just starting out though, I think this book would be a great help.
And, if you must know, I'm really just leaving a review so my already poor stats aren't damaged further by NOT leaving a review. I'm still not a fan of being forced to find something to say about a book just to keep your stats up. Say nothing, choose to not leave feedback, stats don't move, or go down, approval numbers vs feedback sent is skewed, and you look like a terrible reader reviewer. Thanks Netgalley! 😩

This is for sure a nice idea for people not really knowing anything about social media, but for the rest of the world.... I can imagine it would help if you really want to start blogging about your reads. It's not so much "deep knowledge", I don't know, I'm not that much into social media and there wasn't really something new to learn for me,. Maybe a tip for boomers?

Whilst browsing the 'read now' section, I located this helpful guide. I am fairly new to NetGalley so felt that I need all the help I can get to grow my profile, so I can get ARC of books I love and Authors I adore. This toolkit provides easy to read, helpful advice & tips to really ensure I can hopefully get approved by the books I request. I will definitely be putting these tips & tricks into practice and am off to sort out my profile now.

This was a pretty helpful toolkit that clarified a lot of things for me about NetGalley. It has a lot of information and nice tips that I will definitely be implementing right away. The only thing I wished it touched more on is whether or not having a non-Goodreads reviewing account is needed or suggested, along with more information about what publishers want in Goodreads reviewers. Other than that, it was a really great resource for me!
