I had been looking for a book like this for a long time. I joined NetGalley only recently. I have started reviewing books I've read recently as well, and some times I've been unsure about what to write, how to give proper justice to a book I've read and loved. This very intuitive book gives many amazing tips about how to write reviews and use NetGalley with respect to the authors and publishers, with additional very useful links to online material. It gives tips about how to share reviews on social media as well. I'm going to keep this as a personal guide to reread to help and encourage me in the writing process of a book review. This was a really well made tool. For new members, it's worth the read and will help you get started off on the right track. For current members this is a great freshers to refer back to whenever you need.

This is a quick tips book for anyone new to book reviewing or who want to increase their knowledge of what makes book reviews tick across various platforms.

I love the simple (yet effective) layout and the tips are very helpful from how to create reviews, to creating your space across platforms, as well as how to create your NetGalley presence to increase your opportunities of approval.

My favorite tip for the NetGalley presence is not getting caught up in requests sprees! That is so easy to do when you want to read all of the books, but alas can work against you.

I am working on growth and consistency currently so I will certainly put several of these tips to good use across my platforms.

This has been a very helpful guidebook on how to write reviews. Separating it by different sections and subjections is a wonderful and quick way to help me find what I need. I plan to use this every time I review a book.

This is such a helpful resource to inform/remind the bookish community of best practices when it comes to reviewing and championing books. I love that it includes some of the current trends and platforms on which books are highlighted. It would be great to have this resource revamped and promoted every few years or whenever big changes have been made to make sure we're all in the know about how best to help books and readers connect.

This book has wonderful advice that targets all aspects of NetGalley from the reviewers standpoint. It also includes advice for your socials such as Insta, TikTok, Facebook, etc. I will definitely implement the knowledge I learned in regards to instagram hashtags and be more engaging with other bookstagrammers.

Short and sweet. This book is full of useful information as well as a recap to what I thought I knew. The format is well constructed and includes additional links which I found very handy.

I would say this is a must read for anyone starting to review books.
