This was honestly so helpful! The toolkit covers just about anything you'd want or need help with-from how to set up a bookstagram or booktube account to how to make your content accessible! Each section also has links to even more tips on their blog/website, so there are plenty of resources just within this short toolkit!

I appreciated the upbeat tone of the whole thing, and all the helpful hints that I wish I would have known when starting my own bookstagram and Netgalley adventure! There are even app suggestions that I'm definitely about to look into.

Thanks to We Are Bookish and Netgalley for this one!

NetGalley's Book Advocate Toolkit is a must read for all book reviewer, new or seasoned.

In quick read guide is a wonderful resource for managing your NetGalley requests, how to post reviews to a variety of platforms including blogs, vlogs, bookstagram, tiktok etc.

While I have been reviewing books for over a year, I know that the information provided in this guide will help me improve my reviews, increase my feedback ratio and help me get approved for the books I really want to read.

I loved that this guide provided links to other sources of information and some resources that I didn't know existed like the NetGalley Shelp app and newsletters.

I would love to see more information or examples of reviews that catch the publishers eyes as well as guidelines for how to handle reviews for books you didn't quite connect with.

As an avid reader, but a newbie to the NetGalley community, the Book Advocate Toolkit was just want I needed to get started. I loved the infographic format, which made it effortless to peruse and digest, as well as easy to find the sections that applied to me. The breakdown on how to tailor reviews based on platforms is especially useful, as each one has its own unique traits.

I also learned a few important NetGalley tricks and tips, like how to improve your profile, the importance of feedback ratios, and where to find publisher preferences.

While this was an excellent resource for me as a newbie, I can see where it would also be useful for anyone looking to cross over onto a new platform, or even a seasoned blogger looking to brush up on the dos and don'ts of the Bookish community.

Thanks to NetGalley for providing the Book Advocate Toolkit!

An easily accessible guide to reviewing books through NetGalley and publishing on social media. I have a bookstagram and have just set up a twitter for more high-level quick thoughts on the books I'm reading off the back of this book.

An impressive toolkit that is bound to be very useful for newcomers to NetGalley but also will serve as a handy guide for long time members.

It is well organised with active links to relevant entries on the Bookish blog that expand on the topics I rather wish I had this when I first started reviewing as I would have made less missteps.

Wow this is one extremely valuable resource for any NetGalley member. Comprehensive and thorough but succinct and accessible too. It's exactly what I wish I had when I first started reviewing on Netgalley, but even though I am approaching 200 reviews, I still learned some valuable tips. Thanks so much for collating this information in one resource, it's something I will keep referring to.

A wonderfully informative guide to Netgalley, perfect for newcomers and experienced users alike!

Beautifully laid out, colourful and eye catching it was packed full of tips and tricks on how to be a successful book advocate. My favourite part was how to write a critical review and the review block section. Thankfully I've not had to do a critical review before but the tips included will give me more confidence when the time comes.

I'm definitely going to be using the tips to polish up my profile and also going forward to help make my reviews shine!

This is such a great toolkit! Clear and to the point, and with simple, bold graphics that make it so easy to read. It doesn't feel like you're trawling through loads of pointless info. It is probably most useful for people just starting out on their book reviewing/blogging/tokking/gramming/tubing journey - yeah, there's a lot of options in Book Review World and this guide gives a really good, concise overview of all of them. It is also a good refresher course for those that have been doing it for awhile, or if you're looking to branch out into another channel it provides good starting points. I was impressed that it included guides for inclusive posting, which is something that most people want to do, but can be hard to navigate or to ensure you're doing correctly. It even offers tips for photo editing, which is really handy because many reviewers might be great with words, but struggle with photography.

If I had any criticisms, it would be that the guide can make it feel like you should be doing ALL the reviewing channels, which would be more than a full-time job in itself! Perhaps a little bit more detail on navigating hashtags and what sort to use would be handy, though tips like ensuring that you don't always post the maximum amount on Youtube are really handy, and something I didn't know previously.

Overall this is one of the best, most visually appealing guides out there for getting started with book reviewing. Clearly the team at Netgalley know what they're doing!
