If you are a fan of the film Lackawanna Blues, you will love this book of poetry as well. The emotions lift off of the page as the author explores the neighborhood, friendships, loss and love. It was a sweet read.

This charming collection of light verse has all the hallmarks of ... well, of a Hallmark greeting card. While the poems are not likely to stun and amaze, the narrator may well win you over with his joi de vivre. Recommended to those readers who don't often read poetry but who enjoy the verses of Maya Angelou, Amanda Gorman, or Ogden Nash.
