I have been patiently waiting for another book from Ms. Lawson Roby since the Curtis Black series. When I saw Sister Friends I was so excited! And as usual with her books, I was not disappointed. This book showed that even if you make mistakes or fall short, if you try to honor God and abide by his word, he will give you the desires of your heart. I loved this book. Kudos to Ms. Lawson Roby on a job well done. Can't wait for her next book!

I was so excited to receive this book being that Kimberla Lawson Roby is one of my favorite authors. I could not wait to pick this up. This book was good, but I feel like it has been written before or I have read a similar story. This book reminds me so much of waiting to exhale. Its like waiting to exhale rewritten with some changes to the characters. I enjoyed the read but I would not buy it. This is a borrow from the library book.
