A good story about a single mom just looking out for herself and her ten-year-old son. She is not looking for love or anything else that the good-looking sheriff is offering but he continues to break down the walls around her heart and her son likes him as well. A really good story. With good characters.

A typical single mother deputy story. This means conflict, attraction, and some twist. I enjoyed the story. I enjoyed most of the series. Can be a standalone. If you need a fast read, this is for you.

Book review :
This book is Full of hope, humor, and undeniable swoon ,Deliciously steamy but still sweet. This is a Cowboy Romance, and this is the fourth book in the Creedence Horse Rescue series. This book is an endearing, feel good romance that’ll literally leave you smiling…the authentically relatable characters will capture your heart from the onset of Ethan and Jillian’s story.

The Creedence Horse Rescue Ranch series continues, with beloved characters from the preceding stories continuing their own journeys, and with more quirky characters.
This has been a truly enjoyable series, I can only hope there are more stories to come.

I am thankful to @netgalley and the publisher for providing me the book in return of an honest review.
A wonderful read !

I wanted to love this one and I thought that overall it was good buuuut I wasn't a fan of how Jillian treated Ethan. Although maybe I should say how Jillian thought about treating Ethan because in her head she was all about stepping away but her actions never matched her words, even for a second. I have to had it to him he stuck it out (although maybe he was just a little TOO perfect about the whole thing). I enjoyed the other books in the series so I'll keep going, I think this one just wasn't for me.

(I prefer not to post reviews online for 3 stars or less.)

Ms Marts has a way of telling a story that keeps you on the edge of your seat and wanting more.

I love her cast of characters including Otis and Tiny that keep you amused as well as making you feel like you are part of the story. I loved where they let Otis and Tiny finish watching their tv show before chasing them out of the house. I found myself kind of chuckling at some of the scenes in the story.

I think you will enjoy this story as much as I did and I think we all need an Ethan in our lives.

Never Enough Cowboy (Creedence Horse Rescue #4). By Jennie Marts. 2022. Sourcebooks Casablanca (ARC eBook).

Jillian is a single mom who has moved with her son Milo to Creedence to be close to her sister and leave her complicated past behind. Deputy Sheriff Ethan Rayburn and Jillian frequently cross paths at the Creedence Horse Rescue, and while the good-looking and equally as good-natured Ethan is hard to ignore, Jillian is hesitant to go beyond friendship, believing that her past could be discovered and used to hurt Ethan’s chances in his bid for Sheriff. With its blend of romance, emotion, wit, drama, and ever-entertaining animals, Never Enough Cowboy is easily a recommended read.

I have been provided with a review copy of Never Enough Cowboy from NetGalley for an impartial review. I was just drawn into this wonderful story and I just couldn’t get enough of it. It was just so easy to get lost in this great story. I just didn’t want it to end. I just lost myself in and I just couldn’t get enough of these interesting characters. I can’t wait to see what’s next from this author.

This is the 4th installment of Mart's Creedence, Colorado, cowboy romances and it definitely delivers. Jillian is a single mom working to create a new and stable life for herself and her son. Ethan is the handsome deputy her son makes friends with. Jillian would like to keep her distance from any possible relationship but there's some natural chemistry between the two that's hard to deny.

As with all books in this series, once you meet the characters you'll have a hard time putting the book down. It's charming and compelling and bound to leave you with a smile. Definitely check it out!

This is an author I really adore! Her cowboy romances are always so wonderful and heartwarming! I can’t get enough! I really loved the dynamic of the MC’s in this one. Jillian and Ethan are so well matched! Jillian is a single mom who is new in town. She’s a librarian and a little quirky. Ethan is the towns deputy. He’s kind, patient, sweet, and tough. He knows what he wants and goes for it! Ethan is instantly smitten with Jillian. I love how he worked to win her over! I also loved how Ethan was with Jillian’s son. I also enjoyed all the animals and the horse rescuing they did together! It’s really just a sweet read! And I enjoyed watching these two overcome their issues and pasts to get an HEA! Can’t wait for what’s next!

Jillian Bennett is a single mom, a volunteer at a horse rescue ranch and the new head librarian at the local library. Ethan Rayburn is a local deputy who is interested in Jillian and likes her young son, Milo. As they rescue horses together, they form a bond. This is a feel good romance that I enjoyed!

I have voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book that I received from NetGalley. All views expressed are only my own honest opinion.

2.5 stars, rounded up.

On paper, this book is perfect for me. A cowboy + a librarian rescuing animals! Amazing concept! But I was just so bored by this book. Maybe it was the fact that there were way too many side characters that ended up detracting from the romance? Maybe it was the fact that Jillian kept creating obstacles that didn't exist? Like, she kept saying that she and Ethan couldn't be together because it would look bad for his bid for the Sheriff election. But he clearly didn't have an issue, and she still wouldn't let it go. I got annoyed the 2nd time it got brought up. It was a dumb, circular argument.

Overall, it was just predictable for me, and seemed to be trying too hard to be heartwarming and twee.

Never Enough Cowboy was heartwarming, touching, and an instant favorite! This book had me constantly laughing and I loved being back in this world. It truly felt like coming home. But keep those tissues nearby, because this one pulled on my heart more times than I can count. If you love small town romances, or country romances, definitely make for sure this book is on your tbr!

“It’s okay for you to fall,” he said, his voice a husky whisper. “I promise I’ll catch you.”

Jillian Bennett was new to town, a librarian, and a single mom. She was quirky and I loved her for it, especially her ridiculous underwear lol! Through mutual acquaintances, Jillian found herself running into Ethan Rayburn time and again. He was a deputy and was completely smitten by Jillian. Yet, Jillian was focused and had a lot on her plate. She didn't feel as though she had time to date, even if Ethan clicked so easily with her son, Milo. Ethan was determined to knock down Jillian's walls and find a way into her heart. And his path to that was beyond adorable and steamy too!

Tilting her face up to his, she looked into his gorgeous blue eyes and saw such tenderness there, it hurt her chest. Emotion burned the back of her throat, and she feared she might start crying again. “I could really fall for you, you know?”
His lips curved into a roguish grin. “That’s what I’m hoping for.”

I absolutely loved Ethan! I loved that he knew what he wanted in life and went after it. From the first moment he met Jillian, he just knew she was for him. And that man did not have a subtle bone in his body about wanting Jillian lol! Ethan was kind, patient, sexy, romantic, hilarious and so sweet. Yet he could also be tough as nails and a force to be reckoned with. So I loved his softer moments with Jillian and her son. He was so thoughtful and I loved the lengths he went to, to try and win Jillian over. But I was so nervous for him. Would Jillian open up and let him in?

“I’ll just look around then, maybe check out a book or two, while I wait.” He leaned forward, lowering his voice further. “Got any recommendations for books about romance? I’m kind of interested in this woman, and I feel like I need to up my game with her.”
She pressed her lips together to keep a giggle from escaping.

Jillian and Ethan had such an emotional path. Their old fears and pasts crept in. Mistakes were made. And there were scenes that pulled at my heart and made me cry all the tears. Not only for Jillian and Ethan, but for the animals too as we watched them work towards their HEAs also. But don't worry because there was lots of joy, and I had so many happy tears too! So many of our favorites are back, humans and animals. I loved Otis the goat and Aunt Sassy and her meddling. I laughed so hard, I don't even know how many times, that I had tears streaming down my face and was gasping for breath! And watching Ethan and Jillian's son Milo together made my heart burst with joy! Ohh plus this book had a surprise that I'm not saying a word about other then I LOVED how it affected the story!

“Darlin’, haven’t you figured out by now that it doesn’t matter if you’re wearing my hat, your superhero undies, a down parka, or nothing at all, I am completely at your mercy.”

Why is this series not a tv show?!?! I would binge it again and again, just like I still do with Friends! Never Enough Cowboy was fun, flirty and heartwarming! With friendship and love, this story was so much fun! I was completely swept away and I think romance lovers will feel the same way too! And now I'm dying to know, are Knox and Carly the next book? *fingers crossed!*

3.5 Stars

I like the series and Never Enough Cowboy was on it's way to a five star but I had the drama at the end of the book. The misunderstanding between the characters wasn't needed and I didn't love it.
The first 3/4 of the book worked and wish it lasted throughout

I was really looking forward to Ethan's story after loving the previous books in the series and although I enjoyed myself while reading it, his story didn't have the same impact as the others.

I appreciated the author's effort in trying to maintain a balance in regards to the angst, drama and humor in the story. The conflict wasn't overly convoluted and it still conveyed the seriousness of the matter. The same can be said about Ethan and Jillian's pasts. These were touched upon for the sake of the story but they didn't drag its pace, only enhanced it. And of course, the humor was on point too.

I do have to say that for me, Jillian's constant interactions with the secondary characters (the women) took something away from the romance. I would have liked to see more of Jillian and Ethan together--getting to know each other, having more candid conversations. I feel like there was a lot of time spent detailing these interactions and less time spent actually solidifying the connection between Ethan and Jillian. Regardless, I loved Jillian and Ethan together. I enjoyed their individual stories, flirty banter and explosive chemistry. 😏

Although this book can be read as a stand alone, I would recommend reading the previous books since a lot of past characters appear in this story. Already knowing their background helped me navigate the different conversations that took place. There was also the introduction of 2 new characters that caught my eye, so I will definitely be on the lookout for more.

All in all, a sweet yet steamy romance and a good addition to the series. Jennie Marts hasn't disappointed me yet and I'm looking forward to reading more works by this author.

Jillian Bennett is the new librarian in the small town of Creedence, Colorado. She is a single mom who just wants to move on. Her son's father is in prison and she finally wants some separation from her old life in California. Her sister convinced her to move to Creedence and start over. Her son, Milo, comes first in her life. She doesn't have time for anything else, especially another man. Then she meets Ethan Rayburn, a sheriff's deputy and cowboy in Creedence. When he comes to her rescue, she can only see what a good man he is. And, when her heart keeps telling her they would be good together and Ethan wants more than a friends with benefits relationship, can she risk it all and trust again? Will she be betrayed again or will her future be brighter with the cowboy?

This was a sweet story of forgiveness and trust and lots of love. Unfortunately, there is some sex scenes demonstrating that they already have a healthy sex life. I love that Milo was important to the story and wasn't an afterthought.

I was given a copy of this book and I willingly offer my honest review.

A cute, and at times funny story. A few sad and stressful situations, but overall a feel good story. Loved Ethan and I really liked seeing them work through their issues. Overall, a good story. *I received an ARC of this book and this is my voluntary and honest review.

From not quite superhero undies and an octogenarian that refuses to wear her glasses, this novel is lighthearted perfection. Jillian and Ethan both deserve their HEA. A fun read for anyone looking for the perfect escape.

I have read all the other books in this series so I was excited to add this one to my stack as well. And it did not disappoint - I loved this book.

This is about deputy Ethan and the new head librarian, Jillian. Ethan falls for Jillian the moment he lays eyes on her, but Jillian is more hesitant - after all she has a child and an ex that is spending time in prison for a bank robbery. She has been burned before and doesn't know how to trust her heart. Ethan is relentless in winning her over and it was really cute - Milo is a good kid and added to the story as well. There was lots of laughter, love, coincidences, a little drama and a bit of mystery as well. Add these all together and you get one great book.

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. The opinions stated above are mine without biases.
