Never Enough Cowboy by Jennie Marts was a fun and entertaining read. This is the fourth book in the Credence Horse Rescue series but can easily be read alone. This is a cowboy romance on a ranch. This is Jillian and Ethan’s story. These two have instant chemistry, and the back and forth in the story was enjoyable. The story includes the farm animals and adds to the book. I enjoy this author and look forward to reading more from her. I very much recommend this story.

Such a cute book. a Western contemporary rom-com. JM is so funny! The whole situation at the beginning of the book is hysterical. You gotta love Otis. It's a heartwarming story with an adorable kid and some dogs, a pig who thinks he's a dog, an ornery goat, a couple of mini horses and a couple of full size rescue horses too. All that on top of a nice romance

The subtitle on Goodreads just says it all: Heartwarming cowboy romance on the ranch. And it is. Truly And the best part: all those cute animals and of course Otis the ornery goat! As we have seen in A Cowboy State of Mind: Bryn and Zane are always picking up stray animals. And they also help people, who need a refuge or a distraction.

And now, they get called to a big horse rescue, where Jillian, the local librarian and Ethan, the sheriff also come to chip in. And yay, also Elle and Brody (from When a Cowboy Loves a Woman) make an appearance. As always, Jennie’s stories are funny, cute and cozy. And this one is no exception. Ethan is a wonderful character, who loves to flirt with Jillian. Especially after he rescued her from Otis. The flirting is funny and you can’t help but keep your fingers crossed, that Jillian will let him in. On the other hand, Jennie paints a realistic picture why Jillian wants to keep her distance. will they end up together? And how? Find out for yourself in this wonderful read. But watch out for Otis! Five out of five stars from me and a special thank you to Netgalley for providing the arc.

Never Enough Cowboy is so much fun to read! The story goes back and forth with great chemistry, many reasons not to be together (Jillian), and a patient Ethan just waiting for her to figure out what he's known from the beginning. There are many sweet parts to the story, and I loved Milo and all his entourage!

Jillian and Ethan have an instant attraction, but Jillian is hesitant to do anything about it because she is single mom with a past and Ethan is a deputy running for sheriff in their small town. Then her past is revealed. When Ethan thinks Jillian has lied to him, he breaks up with her. They get back together, with the town rallying behind them.

This was another good book in this series. I would have enjoyed this one a lot more if there wasn't constant pushing away of the other by both MCs. One of my big pet peeves in a story is making decisions for other people. Saying you're doing something for the good of someone else, without asking what they think, is just crappy IMO. And really, Jillian never really stuck to her word. She was constantly giving Ethan mixed signals. I thought Ethan was a good guy, and I liked that he was willing to be there for Milo too. Until I wanted to smack him. When the drama starts and he accuses her of something, he didn't even take into consideration the facts of the situation. He's supposed to be a cop, you'd think there would have been a little more thought there. All in all, I did enjoy the story. I loved the scenes with Milo and Jillian, she was a really great mom. Amos was a hoot, and the story line with Mrs. Miriam had me tearing up. The ending was very sweet, and I thought it was perfect for these 2. I hope this series has at least one more story (Carley and Knox), but if not, I will still be looking out for whatever is next from this author.
I voluntarily reviewed an advanced readers copy of this book.

I can never get enough cowboy romances and this is no exception. Jillian with her son, Milo is new to Creedence and she is not interested in any men except her son but can't deny the the good looks of the Deputy Sheriff, Ethan. The first meeting of Jillian and Ethan will have you laughing out loud and will keep you turning the pages as the relationship develops. Both with failed relationships in the past, but Ethan knows this is the right one.

Loved the motley crew of farm animals throughout the story, I loved them all especially Applejack. The relationship that Jillian and Milo share will pull at your heartstrings.

This book has so many heartfelt feelings that I was sad to say goodbye, but now looking forward to the next book in the series. This is part of a series but can be read as a stand alone.

Never Enough Cowboy is the fourth book in Jennie Marts’ Credence Horse Rescue series. Deputy Ethan Rayburn is pursuing two goals, be elected as sheriff and work to fill his late father’s shoes, and a future with Jillian Bennett. Jillian and her son Milo have recently moved to Credence to stay with her sister Carley as she begins her new position as head librarian at the town’s library. There is definitely an attraction between the two but both have been terribly hurt in the past.

When volunteering at the horse rescue, Jillian is enlisted to come along on a horse rescue mission. Bryn and Zane, who run the rescue, will be taking a horse trailer for the rescue as is Ethan along with several others. Jillian will be riding with Ethan. Several policing agencies will be involved in shutting down the illegal horse racing track and many rescuers will be available with horse trailers, feed, hay, and water to rescue the many abused and malnourished horses. When Ethan signs on to rescue the two sweet horses that are inseparable and drawn to Jillian, he steels a piece of her heart.

This is a wonderfully woven story of new chances with questions as to whether the past can actually be laid to rest. The characters, as in all of Ms. Marts’ stories, are exceptional! The descriptions of setting are spot on. And the story is so well told that it will engage all followers of this genre. I very much enjoyed this book and I do recommend it!

This is a voluntary review of an advanced copy.

I have had so much fun reading about this group of friends in Credence so was glad to see Jillian and Ethan as the next couple. We see prior couples along the way and they still are working at rescuing horses in danger.

While I enjoyed their story, at times, I was annoyed with either one or the other! Mostly, Jillian was resistant to a relationship and then when she finally gave in, Ethan backed away, so I had to be patient to get to their HEA.

I loved that Amos was a part of the story and telling about his great love, Trudy, who had passed away. And, that Amos kept trying to set her up with his grandson. Wait til you find out who the grandson is...loved it!

It looks like Jillian's sister, Carley is smitten with another deputy so I am hoping that her story will be coming soon.

Great HEA, and such a romantic big gesture from Ethan when he knew he messed up!

Jillian and Ethan meet when she moves to town with her son to start over. There is a spark between but will the give in to it?
Great read, I liked how it is told from both points of view.

Never Enough Cowboy was incredibly heartwarming and scenic. If you've ever watched the Canadian family drama Heartland, this fits right in. These characters just radiate goodness and comfort, which is often something needed in today's world when you just need a little extra light in your life.

I will definitely be picking up the first few books in the series, as there will never be enough cowboy for me!

Never Enough Cowboy was published in July 2022. Thank you to Sourcebooks Casablanca, NetGalley and the author for the ARC.

Cute story about a single mom and a deputy sheriff who slowly fall in love - or at least, she slowly fell in love it him. Ethan seemed to be all in from the get go!
Poor guy! :)

Never Enough Cowboy by Jennie Marts is a contemporary cowboy rom-com with the two loves making their first connection when Jillian had escaped the goat after it pulled off her skirt, by climbing up into the barn loft. How she was going to get out, she didn’t know, until a truck drove up. She thought it was one of the rescue’s owners, Zane, but it turned out to be the deputy sheriff, Ethan Rayburn. Now she was embarrassed. He was very cute, not that she was looking for anything, but still. She was a librarian and supposed to be conservative, not wandering around in her underwear. He was embarrassed, too, but they did manage to get her out of the loft, and into the extra clothing that she always had in her car. That darned goat! Jillian had only been in town a short while, along with her son, Milo. She had a checkered past that she was trying to outrun. Well, not her, so much as Milo’s dad. Ethan was running for sheriff, picking up the family legacy. His father had been sheriff years earlier. He really like her. She knew she shouldn’t risk the entanglement.

These were a couple of likable, almost too good characters. They both worked with rescued horses and after the goat incident drive together to a racetrack that had been shut down and had a herd of needy horses. Jillian fell in love with one of them, and that one had a friend, so they loaded them into Ethan’s horse trailer and took them to his ranch, but not before Jillian and Milo had named them. It was not simple for them to be in love. It definitely took some finagling but with the help of their friends, the obstacles were overcome and they all lived happily ever after. I love Jennie Marts’ books. This one, and all of them, have regular people with regular problems coming together in the most regular of ways. They plot is simplistic but effective and the characters, both the main ones and the supported ones are genuine. Well worth the read.

I was invited to read a free e-ARC of Never Enough Cowboy by Sourcebooks Casablanca, through Netgalley. All thoughts and opinions are mine. #netgalley #sourcebookscasablanca #jenniemarts #neverenoughcowboy

I love this series so, of course, I love this new addition. The chemistry between Jillian and Ethan was off the charts. I really liked that they became friends with benefits so quickly because I knew this would help Jillian. She is so reluctant but there's no denying that she's just as drawn to Ethan, as he is to her.
I loved seeing characters from past books.
And I can't wait for the next book in the series!

Single mother Jillian came to Creedence, Colorado looking for a better environment for her son. She's the new head librarian, who divides her time between her son, her job, and volunteering at the horse rescue ranch. So romance is the furthest thing from her mind but finds herself flirting with deputy Ethan when he's around.

After coming to her rescue, he blurts out a proposal. Ethan is not this impulsive but something about Jillian that calls to him. And soon he's building bonds with both Jillian and her son Milo.

But Jillian's past does make her hesitate. He's running to be the new sheriff of Creedence and she's afraid of her past being used to hurt his campaign. She tries to end things but Ethan isn't ready to give up.

Thanks so much to the author, the publisher, and NetGalley for this ARC to review.

Never Enough Cowboy by Jennie Marts gives the reader one resistible deputy cowboy, Ethan Rayburn. Whether he s flirty or blushing he is a cowboy to love. Have no idea how Jillian Bennett managed not to fall for him as long as she did. A story full of humor, hope and some heat but all heart.

One great Creedence, Colorado book with a smart librarian, her cute ten year old son, a white hat cowboy, rescue horses, a crazy goat, and a pig too. This is feel good romance reading at its best. Definitely swoon worthy. A second chance romance not to be missed.

An ARC of the book was provided by the publisher through NetGalley which I voluntarily chose to read and reviewed. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Jillian's a single mom who isn't looking for love or a relationship because she's got the only relationship that she needs or wants - with her son Milo. But sheriff deputy Ethan is determined to change her mind. With the help of some adorable animals, a few "helpful" friends and family, and even a whole small town, Jillian and Milo just may find themselves with a new man in their lives.

I loved this story! Jillian, Milo and Ethan are all just so likable and relatable. Jillian's the best mom, living for her son and trying to give him the best life possible, Milo in turn only wants the same for his mom, and Ethan, oh Ethan....talk about a sweetheart. I haven't read any of the other stories in this series, but after having fallen for the entire gang in this story, I will definitely be going back for the previous ones, and any new to come.

Kicking off with a memorable meet-cute involving a goat, a ladder, superhero underwear, and a not-damsel in distress, Jennie Marts’ Never Enough Cowboy is warmth and happiness in book form.

This is the fourth book in the Creedence Horse Rescue series, and honestly, it’s just so damn likable, I almost don’t know what else to say about it. The characters—all of them, from book one’s Zane and Bryn to Ethan and Jillian in this latest release—are friendly, good people who care about animals and each other, and who you can’t help but imagine being friends with. That goodness permeates the pages of Never Enough Cowboy, which made reading it a delight. I know I couldn’t wait to get back to it whenever I had to step away, and I was almost sorry to reach the end, knowing that it’ll be a while before I'm back in this cute Colorado town where the folks are as kind as they are funny (and good-looking LOL).

After first encountering Jillian and Ethan in How to Cowboy, where Ethan was adorably tongue-tied and Jillian outfitted in her signature funky bookish tee, it was easy to fall into their very sweet, mostly drama-free romance. Where there a few small bumps in the road? Sure, Jillian was kind of all over the place (frustratingly so, at times), and there was that thing with the guy and the horse (no more said about that because *spoilers*), but if you’re considering picking this one up, know that you’re looking at a low angst, fluffy, heartfelt reading experience.

Which, honestly, is just the kind of thing I want and need in my books. I’m looking forward to my next visit to Creedence, especially after Jillian’s sister and Ethan’s coworker had their own memorable moment, because there is Never Enough Cowboy for me 🥁.

When I look at you I can feel it, I look at you and I'm home...

This enchanting story is about Jillian Bennett, single mom librarian and sexy delectable cowboy Ethan Rayburn. Jillian and Ethan both have regrettable events in their past. It makes them both a little skittish to enter into a serious relationship.

Ethan tries but fails not to fall hard for Jillian and her son Milo. Jillian is also enamored with Ethan. Their connection to each other is genuine and impossible to resist. Ethan is a patient man, but also is determined to convince Jillian they are made for each other.

Their story has humor, romance and the hope that there is light at the end of the tunnel for this couple. The addition of the adorable animals in this story was charming and had me laughing throughout the whole story. A beautifully crafted romantic story by Jennie Marts.

This is a Cowboy Romance, and this is the fourth book in the Creedence Horse Rescue series. The beginning of this book was just everything, and of course the pig and goat showed up right in the beginning. I love those two crazy animals. I love all the characters in this series including the fun animals. The romance in this book is so cute, and there is a new little horse in this book that steals the whole show. I really loved this book so much. I was kindly provided an e-copy of this book by the publisher (Sourcebooks Casablanca) or author (Jennie Marts) via NetGalley, so I can give an honest review about how I feel about this book. I want to send a big Thank you to them for that.

What a fun, beautiful, touching romantic love story. I liked that the book caught my attention immediately and had me laughing over Jillian's predicament. My attention never left as the author wove her fun story with many unique twists and turns, I want to be friends with Jillian. She is strong, stubborn, sassy, and has a wonderful humorous side to her. She loves just as strongly and will fight and protect her son, Milo. The sparks, chemistry, and banter between Jillian and Deputy Rayburn were earth shattering to say the least. I am glad he did not give up.

The other characters and animals added so much to the story and made it a very enjoyable book that I could not stop reading. It also made me want to read more books by Jennie Marts. This book is definitely going on my keeper shelf to read again! I received an advance copy of this book and I willingly chose to write an honest review.
