A fun read with a lot of witty banter and a strong female lead. I enjoyed this continuation of the series and look forward to other installments.

Ooh I am LOVING this series! They’re so fun, the setting is refreshing, and this one in particular is SO sexy. I love when a romance actually follows through on its premise of a steamy early encounter! My only real issue was the ending; I loved the first 2/3 and all the tension and drama, but it wrapped up a little too easily for me. I just wanted to see a bit more growth from Preston rather than the sudden about face, particularly regarding marriage. But otherwise, this was a really fun book, and I’m looking forward to the next.

I am a big fan of Joanna Shupe - but this one hit the wrong chords for me. I love that Shupe takes some VERY unlikeable heros and completely rehabs them in to swoonworthy men - but I just really really Hated Preston - and Katherine deserved better.

At this point, I think it's fair to say I'm a fan of this author.

I like her characters, the settings for her books are unusual as its a time period not often in romance, and the chemistryand connection always work perfectly.

Katherine and Preston were fun to read. The idea that he didn't want her...until he realizes he actually does, while not unique, really works for this couple and I enjoyed coming along for the ride as they figure out that they are meant to be.

I enjoyed and recommend this title.

After deciding he would not marry debutante Katherine because his late father arranged the marriage, Preston meets a stranger at the French Ball and immediately becomes enchanted with her. When he finds out that it is Katherine, he continues to see her as a friend with benefits. She, however, is developing feelings for the cad. He does not realize that he too is falling in love with the woman his father thought would be a perfect match for him.

A good historical piece. I wished that I knew that it was book 3 of 4 so I would have read the others to know more of the background of the other characters.

Well goddamn, Joanna Shupe made me feral AGAIN. after the lady gets lucky, I was like there's no way she can do it once more. and then she DOES.

If Joanna Shupe writes it, I want it. Exploring the Guiled Age with Joanna has been one of the best things that's happened to me since I started reading romance. And Preston and Kat might be my favourite Shupe couple yet. It was sexy and lush while being sweet and soft at the same time. I loved how badass Kat was and how she defied most of the norms that were expected of her and instead she was just out in the world, doing whatever she wanted. Shupe consistently writes female leads who are strong and not afraid of defying the gender norms. Kat was no exception. She challenged Preston and together they were SO GOOD.

I decided to reread this once it was published and I am so happy that I did. I actually really loved this way more than I anticipated. I really appreciated the setting and characters way more upon reread. The chemistry between Katherine and Preston was fantastic and the writing flowed seamlessly. Well done.

The Bride Goes Rogue is book 3 of the Fifth Avenue Rebels by Joanna Shupe and my fave thus far. We first meet Preston Clarke and his charming suaveness in book 2 of the series and watching him find his lady is just as entertaining a story. Preston has a standing betrothal with Katherine Delafield arranged by their fathers that he has no intention of fulfilling. If anything, he’d have happily remained with his mistress if she hadn’t decided to demand more of him. Kat on the other hand was more than ready to have said marriage get under way and upon informing Preston of this pretty much gets a reality check slapped in her face that this was a marriage that was and will never be happening. Infuriated Kat decides to live it up after her years of patiently waiting by attending a famed masquerade ball were finding lovers ends up often being the ultimate caveat. As faith is fickle and tricky Preston looking for a tryst after letting go of his mistress attends said ball and they end up having an amazing steamy time together.

The two plan a rendezvous where to their surprise they discover who they were unmasked. They decide to stay away from each other but once again that proves a little harder to do than say. The book though a standalone read brings along as secondary characters from the previous titles which add to its richness and complexity. The scenes are steamy a la Ms. Shupe and the main characters engaging. You will find intrigue along with the passionate scenes, humor, and happiness that Kat has a great friend in Nellie as the pace continues to increase as you read. The backstory of Preston’s life and what happened to his family has you understanding him and rooting for his success but wanting him and Kat to find that HEA as well. All in all, another amazing read in the series. This review was given on the ARC copy received from the Publisher via NetGalley in return for my honest opinion.

Katherine Delafield has been living with her life on hold for far too long, so when the man she was supposed to marry drops the bomb that he never had any intention of honoring the betrothal arranged by their father's, it sets Katherine off into a tailspin.

Determined to finally start living, Katherine throws all caution to the wind and attends a notoriously naughty masquerade to have "a bit of fun" and falls giddily into the hands of a handsome, masked stranger who quite literally charms the pants right off of her.

OF COURSE, that masked stranger is soon revealed to be the same ruthless tycoon who burst her bubble days earlier...Preston Clarke-- (Woopsie Daisy!)--and the sparks truly start to fly!

Preston swore that the daughter of his most hated enemy would never be his bride, but after their one night of passion leaves him reeling, becoming her lover instead would be a fantasy come true. Fortunately for Preston, Katherine can't stop thinking about him either and if she's going to embark on a "No Strings Attached" affair with someone, Preston certainly fits the bill.

Neither expects that between romps in the sheets a true friendship will grow or that hearts would become engaged, until betrayal tears them apart and a meaningless affair turns to heartbreak.

While at times, Preston's single minded obsession to succeed at any cost--including pulling the rug out from under Katherine's dream project--made me feel like reaching through the pages and slapping the man silly, his efforts to win back Katherine were truly endearing and made the redemption arc of his story incredibly sweet.

Another big win for Ms. Shupe and another impressively wonderful installment to The Fifth Avenue Rogues series, without a doubt.

I'm both impatient for the next novel, where we finally get the see the not so subtly hinted about romance between Katherine's best friend, Nellie Young and twice-jilted Duke of Lockwood unfold and sad that it will bring an end to this marvelously wicked and entertaining series.

I seem to be eating my words with this one. Surprisingly, while this book definitely followed the same plot of almost all of her other books, the two main characters didn't annoy me to no end. There was more personality and understanding in both characters that made them seem like real people and not boring.

Take a trip to Gilded Age New York with Joanna Shupe's The Bride Goes Rogue! Shupe is an author I can always count on for a rollicking good time, so I couldn't wait to dive into this release.

This is the third book in the Fifth Avenue Rebels series and it kicks off with Katherine Delafield learning that Preston Clarke has no intention of keeping the engagement their fathers arranged for them. Kat immediately tells him off and sets off to make up for wasted time—which inevitably leads her into Preston's arms at a scandalous masquerade.

I loved everything about this book from the incredible chemistry between Kat and Preston, to the wonderful friendships each of them have, to Kat's determination to embrace a future where she's in control of what she wants. It is Shupe at her finest!

Joanna Shupe’s gilded age romances are just so good! She has quickly become one of my favorite historical romance authors. The Bride Goes Rogue (the third installment in The Fifth Avenue Rebels series) did not disappoint! The setup between Katherine and Preston is *chef’s kiss* and their book has all the things I’ve come to expect from Shupe - a solid story, fun dialogue, steam, wonderful characters, amazing chemistry, and a great grovel. I highly recommend it! Can’t wait for the next book!

Katherine and Preston were to be in a marriage arranged by their fathers. Preston is having none of what his father wants and refuses to acknowledge any arrangement. Katherine is determined to live her life to the fullest as she won't be marrying Preston. A night with a mysterious woman leads to Preston finding out how beautiful, vivacious, and charming Katherine is and that she's the woman for him. Will the two end up happy in a marriage?

I received a copy of this book via Netgalley.

My favorite book of the year! Joanna Shupe write completely characters and smoky hot scenes. These two enemies to lovers / former fiancées are so good. I love the story arc of the hero character he needed to be brought down a few peg by the heroine. I really loved gilded age setting. I can’t wait for the next book of the series.

I’ve become a huge fan of Joanna Shupe this last year after I read her short story in The Duke I’d Like to F…

I’m usually weary about forgotten betrothed/wives but this story managed to work for me without producing the mild anxiety that comes with giving one a try. In fact, Katherine and Preston each have a motivation that works without producing the trauma I sometimes feel in similar stories.

Their new relationship grows in a much better way, and I loved this story so much I forgot to review it before reading the other published Fifth Avenue Rebels books that I immediately downloaded to consume.

This really wasn't my favorite of the series, but it was a good stepping stone to the next book. Preston and Katherine have that "we can't be together because we can't be together" thing going on, which is my least favorite trope.

The Bride Goes Rogue by Joanna Shupe is the next book in The Fifth Avenue Rebels series. A historical romance with an arranged marriage. It is a fun romance with two great characters. Enjoyable read.
