A book on self care and plant care all at once - such a unique and wonderful concept for us plant lovers . It’s one I’m going to have to buy for my shelf and reread.

Thank you St Martin’s Press for an advance readers copy

This was a really unique take on self-care! Maria Failla uses plants as a tool to slow down in a world where we're all over the place trying to succeed and please everyone. She uses a ton of personal examples to show how learning to care for your plants and incorporating that knowledge into a weekly/daily schedule can give you the time you need to press pause and re-center yourself.

Really great if plants are your thing!

Loved this book about plants and self-care! Maria Failla and Samantha Leung share how engaging with a plant even once a day can help grow joy during the most stressful of times. Whether or not you already have plants, or are wondering how enjoyable they might be, these authors provide great examples of how plants can be a lifeline. Highly recommend! Thanks to Netgalley for the ARC.

A bit of self care mixed with plant care, what could be better?
Enjoyable read for anyone interested in plants. Photos would have made this 5 stars.

This book was a fun and entertaining read. It was quirky and full of plant puns with an emphasis on self care. I'm a vegetable gardener and really haven't made the transition to house plants that the author focuses on, so I didn't relate as much as a gardener whose focus is on those types of plants, but I still found it interesting and many points transferable.

This is a must-have resource to help one improve mental health, resiliency, and live a more full and happy life; all with using the power of plants and growing joy! It is full of great strategies, advice, and easy to implement ideas. This is one I'll return to again and again. Many thanks to the author, publisher, and NetGalley for the advanced copy of the book.
