I missed Oliver and Luc! I can already tell this book is going to have everything I loved about Boyfriend Material plus more. I can’t wait to read the rest!

Eeeee!! It’s almost cruel how great this was. I cannot wait to read the full thing. I love Luc and Oliver so much. This preview was also a good reminder that I absolutely need to re-read Boyfriend Material because I couldn’t remember any of their friends and we kind of dive right in.

I'm reading the sample chapters from NetGalley and my heart is so full. It's so funny and so heart-breaking and so beautifully soft. I'm living for Oliver's protective mean streak, and Luc is such a sweet mess and trying so hard. I love how complex everyone is and how even when everyone is trying their best, the past finds a way to creep in and cause problems. I can't wait til summer! ^-^"

Just finished this, and I truly cannot wait until August for the whole book!! Voice-wise, AJH jumped right back into the character of Luc -- it sounds just like him, and his growth feels realistic for a two-year gap. Matured, but with new struggles that bring up a few of the same issue's he has always had. I love being with the whole gang again!!

Because this was just a sample of the first five chapters my review wont be that long. I adored the first book so as soon as I saw that the preview was available I downloaded it. This preview has me extremely excited for this book to come out. I don't think I will be able to wait till August to find out what happens next with Luc and Oliver. I cant wait to see were their relationship goes.

Thanks to Netgalley and Sourcebooks for posting the first five chapters up as a preview. The preview made me so happy and so sad at the same time.

Super happy because Oh man have I been waiting so long for this book. And the first few chapters got me right back into the characters I love and just yay!!

But I am sad because the wait feels even longer now!! Ahhhhhh.

I have preordered both the ebook and paperback versions and this preview made me so glad I did.

This too short preview is everything that I want in Husband Material, and I can’t wait to read the rest of the book as soon as humanly possible. Luc and Oliver are adorably Luc and Oliver-ish in every way. Even the secondary characters, from Luc’s CRAPP co-workers to his closest friends had me laughing loud enough to startle my dog.

I underestimated how much I adore being back in the Boyfriend Material world. Alexis Hall is a master at creating the perfect blend of banter and emotional struggles. I can’t wait to read the rest of this book!

Perfection. Absolute perfection. I didn't think I could be more excited for this book than I already was. Alexis Hall has seamlessly fallen back into the BM universe and hit the ground running.
This preview was such a treat. Reading this was like throwing a favorite blanket around myself and enjoying that cozy familiar warmth. All the characters we loved from BM are here again in perfect form and I cannot wait for August!!

Although Husband Material picks up two years after the events of Boyfriend Material, it feels like we never left. These chapters are full to bursting with everything I love about Boyfriend Material — ridiculous jokes mixed with gut-wrenching sincerity, and, of course, Alex Twaddle. I thought I couldn’t possibly more excited for Husband Material to come out — I was wrong. I absolutely cannot wait.

Oh my goodness!!!! I can't wait for Husband Material by Alexis Hall! I got to read the first 5 chapters in a preview from NetGalley and they are AMAZING reading! Luc is still adorably damaged and Oliver is still beautifully stoic.

We start Husband Material 2 years after Boyfriend Material ends. Luc and Oliver are still together! Bridget and Tom are going to get married! CRAPP is still helping the dung beetles. Alex is still a nitwit. Rhys is unknowingly dabbling in soft porn. Dr. Fairchild might be a praying mantis. And we get to meet the infamous self-absorbed monstrous jerkface Miles.

Spectacular internal dialogue pursues. Tables are broken. Trust is tested. I CAN'T WAIT TO READ THE WHOLE THING!!!!

Since this is only the first few chapters of HUSBAND MATERIAL, a full review with all of my thoughts is to come! However, this preview made me incredibly excited and I cannot wait to see Luc and Oliver again. I’m incredibly excited to see a direct sequel for a romance novel.

This book is going to be so good! I was already so excited to read more about Luc and Oliver and now I'm counting the days until August. Luc is such a beautiful beautiful mess and I love him so much.

As a massive fan of Boyfriend Material, this short preview was everything, so thank you NetGalley! However, I now desperately need the full book asap. August better come around quickly!

I’m so excited for this book! As cruel as I find it that they released the cover almost a year before release, I’m ridiculously happy to see the sneak peek. I love Oliver and Luc and can’t wait to see the trials and tribulations they go through in the sequel!

Boyfriend Material has become somewhat of a comfort read to me, my paperback is quite battered up from the constant re-reads of my favourite moments. It was nice to have a sneak peek into the upcoming release, though I must admit, I have some regrets, as I now want to devour the whole thing. August is far too far away, but I’ll be waiting (Perhaps not so patiently.) For publish day.
