It was a great addition to the series.

Glynna was a wonderful baker but she was having trouble making ends meet

Ritter is managing the hotel but isn't planning on staying in town but then he meets Glynna and decides that he wants to get to know her better.

There is a baking contest that has twists and turns.

A great read with a happy ever after.

I would like to thank Linda Carroll-Bradd, Net Galley and Inked Figments for sending me this arc in exchange for an honest review.

This was the second HR I've read from this author, and she won me over again. Like A Match for Althia, the H and h were interesting characters. Not perfect by any means, but very human. And unlike in so many romances written today, the MCs talked to each other. I thought that was amazing! When a misunderstanding finally arose, it was quickly extinguished.

Glynna owned a bakery, while Ritter managed a hotel. Both were working class people though Ritter had an edge. The entire story took roughly two hours to read, but I found I couldn't set it aside.

If you are looking for a heartwarming romance with intelligent characters and a somewhat different setting, I would encourage you to read this romance.

This is a sweet romance that was a joy to read. It's full of faith, family and love. It has a great sounding recipe for a holiday treat. I recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a sweet clean historical romance.

Good story, interesting recipe :)
This story had a small town feel to it. One of the side characters was the snobby rich-girl tormentor (and her entourage), but the rest were good neighborly-types.

The main characters were well done and they seemed genuine enough.

This is my voluntary review of a copy I received from NetGalley.
