"My heart is with you."

Charming and passionate sports romance that brings not only a lot of steam, but also a whole range of emotions! I adored Lucie and Reid story. It's filled with insane tension, scorching hot scenes and heartwarming relantionship development. I loved to see the evolvement of the characters not only as a couple, but also as individuals. Seducing Cinderella beautifully shows how love and support of the right person can change us for the better. And Lucie and Reid proved it in the most wonderful way.

One thing I liked about this is the writing style of @ginalmaxwell !! I’ve read tons of romance books so I’m really picky when it comes to writing style or how they deliver a plot. But Gina is one of those authors who has the best writing style😭

The books follows Lucie as she tries to win over her doctor crushie but could never gain his attention. Here comes Reid, her brother’s best friend who suffered series injuries from one of his UFC fights has to get help from a physical therapist which happens to be Lucie 👀

As I read the book, I can feel the tension, chemistry and oozing hotness of Reid😮‍💨
and he’s such a big help to Lucie in helping her gain her confidence & fight some insecurities by helping her learn how to “seduce” the doctor she has crush on. But, their lessons on seduction wasn’t totally applied to the doctor but to themselves!!

Believe me that this is one of those must reads romance books with enough hotness & smut. I really really loved reading this one and totally enjoyed my time devouring Rei— I mean the book🙈

Could it really happen?

What a absolutely fun read. He’s protective and hard on himself. She’s been burned. He’s her brothers BFF. She’s know him forever. Could this work?

The author writing is flawless, and the words are so captivating, the plot had so many twists and turns and none that I was expecting, and many shockingly intimate I have become a huge fan of this author. The author writes with so much intensity and emotion pulled from each book it’s felt page after page. Some are quick witted story lines are so perfect and lets you believe you have a front row seat. So being able to read this love story didn’t disappoint. The authors ability to have two separate individuals struggling in their everyday life and try to navigate someone else’s thoughts, needs and desires was intense and gives all the fills.
fills.

Authors Blurb: Only months before reclaiming his championship title, mixed martial artist Reid Andrews suffers a serious injury. Fortunately, his trainer knows the perfect physical therapist to get Reid healed and back into fighting shape the little sister of Reid's best friend. But Lucie is no longer a little girl, and she's more than capable of handling a bad boy with a bad attitude.

Lucie Miller needs some professional help of her own. Bookish girls don't usually land the hot guys, and she's gone unnoticed by a certain doctor for way too long. So when her childhood crush offers her lessons in seduction in exchange for getting him ready for the biggest night of his career, Lucie jumps at the chance.

But when his feelings begin to change, Reid finds himself in the fight of his life, and it's not even in the octagon. Now he needs to switch up his game plan if he wants to win Lucie's heart...before she gives it to somebody else.

This book has everything I love in a book. Then you add that it's beautifully written and believable. It is easily a five star read. Written in dual POV my personal favorite this story flows so incredibly well that the next thing you know your 80% into the book and loving every second of it. The believable way the characters interact is perfect. Run, Hop, Jump or use your (1 click) finger to do whatever you have to do and get this amazing book. It'll break your heart, you'll want to scream with frustration and it'll let you discover that love just might conquer all. The chemistry is steamy and sweet and oh so romantic.

Thanks Netgally for letting me read and review.📚💕

I didn’t love the take on the make over for her to get the guy. It was okay, but I was expecting more from it.

Fairy tale references? Slow burn, crush on brother’s best friend? Yep, definitely up my alley. So, of course I had to request the arc.

And it is a cute story. Lucie has a very low self esteem, due to her ex who has done a number on her. She has been pining for the hot doctor in the hospital for months now, but he seems not to notice her.

Reid has known Lucie all of his life. But now his best friend’s little sister is all grown up and gorgeous. And apparently, his temporarily personal therapist.

Since Reid wants to compete in the MMA championship to defend his title, he needs to be rehabilitated in two months. So, he’ll need a fulltime therapist.

When he learns of Lucie’s dream to be noticed by doctor Hotty, he strikes a bargain: two months of one-on-one time for him and he’ll learn Lucie how to seduce her doctor.

But slowly, the lines between teaching seduction and being seduced are blurring. And although Reid’s MMA fight is approaching soon, this may not be the biggest fight he has to win.

Sweet, funny and cute. Four out of five stars from me and a special thank you to Netgalley for providing the arc.

Thank you Netgalley and the author for a copy of Seducing Cinderella, in exchange for an honest review. This was my first MMA fighter book and a first from this author. This was a quick and steamy read that introduces you the main characters, Lucie and Reid. Reid is an MMA fighter who was injured and needs to heal fast for his next fight. He finds himself in the care of physical therapist, Lucie. Upon meeting, they realize they grew up together and started reminiscing. Reid realizes that Lucie isn't going to fast track his workouts because she can't work with him 24/7. He comes up with a proposal: She helps him with his shoulder injury and he will help her land her crush. Lucie is hesitant at first, but after going through a previous heartbreak, she is keen to learn how to land the man that she thinks is of her dreams. Being in close proximity and showing Lucie how to be a seductress, feelings and sparks start flying between the two.

A champion MMA fighter with an injury and an upcoming fight makes a deal with his best friends little sister - if she helps him with his physical therapy, he will teach her how to land the man of her dreams. A sweet (and steamy!) story unfolds....

Full of some of my favourite tropes, this is a quick and sexy romance. Definitely a must read for anybody who loves strong characters learning to live themselves and go after what they want!

I received a copy from the publisher in exchange for an honest review.

Tw: body image/insecurities

Childhood friends reunited. Sexual tension brews. A typical friends-to-lovers. No plot twists to speak of.

It’s hard not to love Reid, honestly. He’s your typical hot guy, bad boy. Athletic and with the abs and overall appearance to show for his achievements. Caring, sweet nature and undeniably good in bed.

I get Reid and Lucie knew each other well from when they were kids but it’s been seven years, as was pointed out, since they saw each other. I found it more than a little weird that Reid practically demanded Lucie move in with him so she could tend to his injury every day and he’d help her attract the attention of Handsome Doctor Dude in return. Like that’s a totally normal arrangement to make (sarcasm).

It took a while to get over my irritation for Lucie’s stance on love and relationships. It was a very questionable representation, to say the least. Saying she and Stephen are compatible in every way whilst simultaneously ignoring the fact that the man isn’t interested in her in the slightest, and believing love, passion and chemistry is “inconsequential”, that love “would simply be a bonus” as long as, on paper, both parties are compatible. She never explicitly changed her opinion. Reid was just too irresistible.

Oh, but it gets worse. Remember I mentioned I felt uncomfortable at the idea of Lucie and Stephen living together? Well, it doesn’t compare to how I felt about Stephen ordering Lucie to put on a bathing suit or bra and panties to “see your body”.
As the main premise of the book is making Lucie enticing to her doctor crush, it focused a lot on how she must act and look to catch his eye and I didn’t… love that. I might be completely overthinking this and being a bit pissy. The whole make over part where she changes her hair, gets her nails down, goes clothes shopping part implies that you must have professionally dyed and styled hair, your make-up done and pretty nails to be “beautiful” and be noticed by anyone, female, male or other. Lucie’s natural self without all of it wasn’t attractive enough. Just one example of several.

However, when I manage to look past all of this (which is a lot to look past and kind of a far stretch if I’m being honest), Seducing Cinderella is a funny, enjoyable friends-to-lovers romance with some spice (not as much as I was expecting actually, which I didn’t mind. I’ve been reading a lot of erotica lately so it was a nice break). Ignoring a large portion of a book is obviously not something you should have to do but I liked enough of Seducing Cinderella to make the choice to at least try. Overall, I feel indifferent about Seducing Cinderella.

I really enjoyed this book, It was a quick, easy read and I took the protagonists into my heart more wuickly and easier than I thought I would. I loved watching their journey together and the love triangle element - i am a sucker for a love triangle. It was well written with good character development and a good storyline.
There were a lot of minor characters within the book which sometimes can be hard to keep a grasp of but these werent, and in fact I found myself wanting more from them, and definitely wanting to know more about them. There are other books coming in this series so I hope we will find more out about them in those. A really good read overall.

I liked how Lucie and Reid interacted. I really felt the connection between them from the beginning. Their relationship just kept getting better. I hated the doctor from the beginning, can’t stand him. The author wrote this amazingly and that’s why I gave it 4 stars it was really great!
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

This was a great blast from the past romance. Reid is the best MMA fighter and just injured his shoulder and is now going to physical therapy so he can win his next fight in two months. Little did he know that his physical therapist would be someone who he grew up with and always thought as a little sister. Lucie grew up totally in love with her older brothers best friend, Reid. She hasn’t seen him in years. When he walks into her office she can’t believe her eyes. They end up making a deal. He will help her get the guy she wants and she will help him heal and be ready for his next fight. With this deal having them living together in her apartment, will they develop feelings for each other that can’t be ignored? I was given a copy of this book through NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

This is the first book I read from this author and I absolutely loved this story!!

Oh! How I enjoyed these two!!! This romance is absolutely hot and entertaining. I couldn’t stop reading. The chemistry between them is of the chart. It’s also funny with a lot of great sexy times. But also quite emotional and sweet. The dialogs are smart and witty and the characters well developed and real.
I highly recommend this story, it’s a beautiful one.

This is a new edition of Gina L. Maxwell's 2012 debut novel. This version (that I was so graciously gifted by NetGalley and the publisher) contained updated content, the highly requested epilogue to their HEA, plus two bonus scenes that happen between this book and the next in the series, Rules of Entanglement. The following review is reflective of my honest opinions.

Goodies:
- Best friend's little sister
- Forced proximity
- Love triangle

What I liked about the book:
1. Both of the MCs were highly likable! Even the side characters like Vanessa and Eric where pretty great! I also liked that they didn't totally trash the doctor she thought she loved, it was very realistic her just not having the same feelings for him after experiencing what she did for Reid. And the drama-level on this one was pretty low, which was nice.

2. There was no wasting of time getting these two together! I loved that it wasn't a slow-burn romance. Just give me the good stuff upfront!!! And Maxwell definitely delivered.

3. The steam was all kinds of fantastic and we got plenty of it!!

AND HOLY SMOKES! She gave it to us!!! That phone scene with the stubbed toe...Brilliant! I can't be alone in my own perverse world having thought of this exact scenario!

4. I did not read the first edition of this book that didn't have the epilogue and bonus chapters, but I will say, our first true introduction to Jax is hilarious! I really can't wait to read his story!

Why it didn't get 5-stars:
1. I really wish we got more of the side characters in this. We saw enough of them, but knowing there are other books in this series, the next being about Jax (Lucie's brother who is hardly in the book) and Vanessa (Lucie's best friend), I wish there was more to go off of going into the book.

4 seductive stars!

Seducing Cinderella was a fun, sexy read. The story of Lucie, the PT who wants a doctor who works with her to finally notice her, and Reid, the fighter who needs intense treatment for his injured shoulder before a big fight, was great.

I loved the scenery and the motivations behind their agreement. Also, I think it was great because as readers we can follow Lucie realizing that maybe her dream partner is not what she actually wants for her life. Reid was also an interesting character, with all his emotional scars because of the way he was raised by his father. It all made sense and fit really well with the story being told.

There were many hot scenes and they were very well written as well, so if you love this kind of book, this might be a good pick for you.

Thanks for NetGalley and the publisher for providing a copy of the ebook. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

This book got me hooked from the start its friends to lovers, easy to ready, hot and steamy in places, funny at times oh and did I mention hot and steamy. If you like all them things then you will love this book.

Reid is a mixed martial arts fighter who has a torn rotator cuff injury and ends up needing physical therapy at a rehab center, when he gets there he finds out the person helping him will be his best friends sister Lucie, Lucie has no self confidence, Reid makes an offer that if she spent all her time helping him get back in shape ready for his next fight he will help teach her how to flirt and get the guy she wants.

I loved Reid even though he was ment to be a tough MMA fighter he also had the most sweets side to him, the things he would say to Lucie were just so damn cute.

I loved this one! It's a classic love story where the characters have undeniable chemistry and are drawn together when they don't expect it. While the storyline is a bit predictable with that plotline, I loved the character development and how the story was fleshed out. It kept me up late at night reading to find out what happened next and I was sad to see it end. I'll be looking for more from this author!

Absolutely loved this book, really enjoyed every bit of it from start to finish and would highly recommend others to read also.

This was really cute. Steamy, trope filled and yes, a little bit angsty for sure, but cute nonetheless.

Lucie and Reid grew up together. Reid was Lucie's brother's best friend. Then Lucie grew up to become a physical therapist. And Reid? He's the former UFC light heavyweight champion.

Do you see where we're going with this?

This gave me real Katy Evans vibes (if you put a side the sketch rep of course) and I'm here for it. Honest I am, because not only do I love the series I'm referring to, but I really love books about Cage fighting. I don't read enough of them.

Now I'm gonna read every other Gina Maxwell book I can get my grubby mitts on.

Awwwwwww, this book is actually sos west I think I almost have a cavity!!

I was worried when Lucie and Reid seemed to get it together really early in the book and I definitely wondered if it would run out of steam, but fear not this book has mileage to spare (the epilogues and extra scenes are ADORABLE)

The trope I have seen before but the way this story was written was non confrontational and just markedly sweeter than lots of books I’ve read recently. Even the ripple at the end wasn’t long lasting and was resolved to this readers satisfaction

A delightful book, excited for the next in the series
