Benke has a knack for making creative writing genuinely fun—her first book Rip the Page is one I always recommend. This book focuses on breaking the “but my poem is stupid” barrier and loving yourself through your writing.

This is a great writing book. I was looking for something like this to help with my own writing and this was the perfect book for that. Leap Write In is perfection and was so helpful. I highly recommend it to anyone who needs a little extra help with their writing.

Great book to have in classroom library to get creative teens writing on their own! Prompts and digestible models are perfect to get students thinking and writing. Anything that gets students thinking outside of the box gets an A+ in my book!
