I loved hearing Lisa’s story and her start up. What an amazing thing to accomplish. Especially with a family. There were some much needed advice in the book that has helped me. Solid 4 stars.

Radical Confidence by Lisa Bilyeu is a powerful self-help book that offers practical guidance and inspiring insights for individuals seeking to cultivate unshakeable self-confidence. Bilyeu, a renowned entrepreneur and co-founder of Quest Nutrition, draws from her own personal experiences and struggles to deliver a relatable and empowering message to readers.

The book begins by acknowledging that confidence is not an innate trait but a skill that can be developed through conscious effort and practice. Bilyeu breaks down the concept of confidence into its fundamental elements and provides a step-by-step roadmap for readers to follow on their journey toward radical self-assurance.

One of the standout features of Radical Confidence is Bilyeu's candid storytelling. She shares her own vulnerabilities and moments of self-doubt, allowing readers to connect with her on a deeper level. Her authenticity creates a safe space for readers to confront their own insecurities and realize that confidence is an ongoing process rather than a destination.

Bilyeu explores various topics essential to building confidence, including self-awareness, resilience, mindset, body language, and effective communication. She presents practical exercises and actionable strategies that readers can implement in their daily lives to boost their confidence levels. Each chapter is well-structured, providing clear explanations and examples to reinforce the concepts discussed.

What sets this book apart is its emphasis on embracing failure and learning from setbacks. Bilyeu challenges the reader to reframe their perception of failure and view it as an opportunity for growth and self-discovery. By encouraging readers to step outside their comfort zones and embrace discomfort, she guides them toward a mindset shift that enables them to overcome obstacles and thrive.

The writing style is engaging, conversational, and accessible to readers of all backgrounds. Bilyeu's tone is both compassionate and motivating, making the book an enjoyable and empowering read. The author's ability to balance relatability with actionable advice contributes to its overall effectiveness.

However, one potential drawback of Radical Confidence is its limited coverage of intersectional experiences. While Bilyeu's personal anecdotes are relatable, readers from diverse backgrounds may find it challenging to fully relate to her experiences. Including more diverse perspectives and acknowledging the unique challenges faced by individuals of different races, genders, and socioeconomic backgrounds would have strengthened the book's inclusivity.

In conclusion, Radical Confidence is an inspiring guidebook for those seeking to develop unshakable confidence in their personal and professional lives. Lisa Bilyeu's authentic storytelling, practical advice, and motivational tone make it an engaging read. While it could have benefitted from more inclusivity, the book effectively equips readers with the tools they need to embrace their inner power and unleash their true potential. Whether you're just starting your confidence journey or looking to deepen your self-assurance, this book is a valuable resource that will leave you feeling empowered and ready to take on the world.

Thank you to Netgalley for a digital arc in exchange for an honest review.

I loved this book. I've been fan of Lisa's for awhile after finding her on Instagram, and this book was a wonderful insight into her life, the things she's gone through, and how to pull yourself out and push forward. Such wonderful read.

I think these books are hard to write and really share something new. This author is impressive and has accomplished a lot. She uses her life story well and has examples of how she accomplished things, but I wasn't really feeling it. It reminded me of Rachel Hollis.

This wasn’t what I thought it was going to be. I thought it was a self help book and it kind of was, but it was more about how her life story went. With maybe a few helpful tips on how to be more assertive. Thanks to the publisher and netgalley for this copy for review
