Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for giving me this eARC to review. Sadly the content within this book is not good for my mental health which I did not realise at the time so I am very sorry for that! I will give this 3 Stars as I couldn't review it properly. Apologies again!

I wish the illustrations were in color and not black and white otherwise it was rather a quite decent book.

I loved Floriography, and Woodland Wardens continues that beautiful style of Jessica Roux. With gorgeous illustrations, this is a must-have for anyone who works with oracle.

This deck is stunning. I plan to purchase a hard copy of it. I love the woodland theme. I love the vintage forest feel to these cards. I love the Marten, crow and fox. This deck is by the same author as the book Floriography. The illustrations are beautiful.

The card images are very pretty and mystical. Love the details in each card. A lovely deck for sure and enjoyed reading all the meanings.

I received an electronic copy of the guidebook through NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

Filled with interestingly old-style illustrations and intriguing meanings relating to the cards, but it was disappointing that though color was mentioned as something to take note of and yet the review copy given was black-and-white.

Jessica Roux's Woodland Wardens oracle deck is absolutely gorgeous. The artist obviously cares about small details, and the drawings give each animal a feeling of mystical wonder and peace. It is worth the purchase for the artwork alone, but also offers insight for those who choose to use the deck for its original purpose. Will definitely look into purchasing for my shop. :)

I would definitely pic it up instantly if I saw it in any of my local stores. The design was well thought and shows a lot of heart in it, the illustrations are breathtaking and totally reach the expectations I had.

Animal decks are a hit or miss for me. Sometimes I resonate and sometimes it just seems like disembodied associations. This deck checks all the right boxes. The artwork is absolutely stunning and the interpretations are lyrical. I'm really excited to begin working with this deck.

Cozy, heartwarming, wholesome - that's how I would describe this beautiful oracle deck. It has that cottagecore feel to it and all the illustrations feel very atmospheric, even nostalgic.
This is a great tool for self-reflection. Descriptions of each card and questions that are posed at the end of said descriptions are very thought-provoking. I love the author's realistic, down-to-earth approach. That's the reason this deck is also suitable for people who are not interested in witchcraft or anything new-age related per se.
It really inspired me to try to reconnect with nature more. I will definitely buy this deck for myself, can't wait for it's release to see all the illustrations in person!

Beautifully illustrated deck and guidebook.

The guidebook includes the usual how-to and card spread suggestion section, and the author explains the call to create the deck in a concise but touching introduction.

The idea of pairing an animal and a plant on each card is really ingenious, as it allows for a nuance that I've struggled to find in other oracle decks. Each explanation page explores these extended concordances and gives both an upright and a reversed possible meaning.

I will definitely be adding this deck to my collection when it's published.

This oracle deck will be a great beginner source for those looking to branch out from tarot where card meanings are more uniform across decks. This oracle deck was beautiful but simplistic artwork which pairs nicely to the given means for the deck. I found the card meanings to be insightful. Overall really enjoyed this and will definitely pick up a finished copy of the deck!
