This book follows a character who is meeting an assignment from his teacher to write a story about himself. The other characters in the class talk about their assignments and the mc attempts to draw things that come to mind for his assignment. His doodles and squiggles reflect his talent and skills/hobbies. The rest of his classmates really like his ideas. It's a cute story, my favorite part was the way it was depicted which was the mix of full-page illustration and a comic-strip style / graphic novel style? The actual story was just OK, the strength of this was the design/layout and illustrations for me.
