This is a really fantastic book for children, which is all about different places around the world. The book has beautiful, bright and colourful graphics that all children will love. Each graphic has a letter of the alphabet beside it and a sentence, each describing a place in the world. I found it really interesting to learn about all the different places, such as Baku, the Grand Canyon, the Eiffel Tower and the Taj Mahal. I highly recommend this book, which is full of awesome, educational and informational knowledge. My daughter and I loved it!

Many thanks to the author, publisher and NetGalley for a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

A unique take on the crowded ABC book genre! I love the illustrations and how it takes the reader on a journey around the world by letter.

This is so cool! I can't wait to read this with students. Young readers can explore the world and get a little alphabet practice along the way. Each letter is used to introduce a different place across the globe. A short description is included with memorable details about each site. The distribution is well-balanced--it's not overly focused on Europe or North America.

The art is a special treat too! Each page is full of stunningly vivid and detailed images that kids will love to pore over. This would be a great classroom read but I could also see it becoming an oft-repeated favorite at home.

Many thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for the opportunity to read and review!

Ohmystars! I am in love with this children’s book! I wish it had been available when my kids were small, but I’ll absolutely be purchasing multiple copies to dole out to my nieces and nephews! A beautiful introduction to places all over the world, sure to spark imagination and conversations. The illustrations are charming and lovely, in that middle world between engaging for young listeners and “old” enough for early readers to still be enchanted.

Thanks to Quarto Publishing Group and NetGalley for the opportunity to preview and review this delightful title!

This is such a colourful book! Kids will love the bright illustrations! It is a great way to travel the world with your child without having to pack. The book highlights some great places around the globe with a little information about why it is a unique place. I'm also a huge fan of the world map at the end that shows where all of the mentioned places are. This would be a great board book to add to a child's library.

Pack your bags and grab your passport. You're about to embark on a fun trip. The closest site to my home in Alaska was the Yukon, so I started there and meandered about the globe taking it all in. I thoroughly enjoyed my trip just as much as a child, the real target audience, might, but did notice a few lovely touches I wanted to mention. Not only are different races showcases, but a wheelchair character keeps popping up. Lovely illustrations, both simple and detailed, if that makes any sense, to give one a feel for what they might encounter at the sites.

The former teacher in me can't help but note that not only do they illustrations provide a nice overview of each site but offer teaching opportunities, too. Those could be as simple as identifying colors used, finding various items in the pictures, or leading a discussion on why the clothing/buildings/structures are not all the same, among others. Art project? Have the children use construction paper to construct the various alphabet letters as they are shown in the photos and let them create their own take on the scenes. I'm sure you can come up with many other ideas. Although the text given might be more advanced than the child it is used for, it seemed easily adaptable to age. For now, I'm going back for a return visit. Yes, this big kid was enchanted by this book. I'd recommend it to parents and teachers everywhere, not to mention it'd make a wonderful gift for "big kids" who want to travel without leaving their homes. There's even a nice map at the end.

Thank you #NetGalley and #QuartoPublishingGroup – #WalterFoster for inviting me along on this fun, and, oh, so enchanting journey. It made my day.

Thank you to the publisher, NetGalley, author/illustrator for a copy of this book in exchange for honest feedback. So, essentially, this is an A-Z overview of cool places across the world. I think this was a cute book, interesting/unique illustrations, a good variety of places represented. The brief passages accompanying the illustrations are age appropriate, not too brief and not too wordy/factual so as to lose entertainment/attention value. I think this was pretty cool. It's also part of a series of other books so would be a good addition to a classroom.

This is a very colorful book with beautiful graphics. My four year old liked taking time to search and find things on each page. I'm going to add it to her home school tbr to buy a hardcopy and then use it as a tool to come up with weekly lesson plans based on the letter and place on each page. I think that it will be a great resource for this type of learning.
