Harper is a realtor in the small town of Maple Falls. She is a fashion diva dressed to the nines driving around in her red Mercedes. When her beloved car gives her problems, she takes it to the local mechanic, Rusty Jenkins, who is also a friend.
Harper sees Rusty as a friend. A dirty (due to his occupation) and bearded friend. Maybe Rusty is looking at Harper differently than she is at him. Hmmmm....
Harper's real estate business isn't doing so well, and that building she desperately wishes to purchase for her business may not happen. And...it seems another realtor, with whom Harper has a past with, may be sabotaging her business. And, if that weren't enough on Harper's plate, her parents are getting a divorce. WHAT?!!!
A very sweet, clean story.
I was given an advanced ecopy by the publisher, Thomas Nelson. I was under no obligation to write a positive review.

This is the third Maple Falls book I've read by Kathleen Fuller, and so far, it's my favorite. I loved Harper and Rusty's story, as a couple, and I loved their individual stories of how they became the people they are now. I also enjoyed the side story of Harper's parents, and what happens to a 30-year marriage that hasn't been tended properly.

Harper Wilson has an image to maintain - right down to the false eyelashes she wears daily to complete "the look". . As a real estate agent, she loves the thrill of putting customers together with their perfect forever home, or their perfect property, so she works every hour that her eyes are open. Workaholic? Maybe, but up to now, her business has been thriving because of it. She drives a shiny, red Mercedes that is quickly going from her dream car to her nightmare but town mechanic Rusty Jenkins is a genius with cars, even though he usually works exclusively on American-made vehicles. As he works on her car, she finds herself noticing and admiring Rusty's good points. Sure, he hasn't visited his barber lately, and his beard is out of control, but his kindness in the face of her car that is forever breaking down goes a long way toward making her overlook his shortcomings.

Rusty Jenkins' life is in a rut, but it is the life he wants. He owns his own garage and is well-known in Maple Falls as the best mechanic around. Sure, his house could use some work, but it's not like anyone sees it but him and his grandfather. Abandoned by his parents, the house represents the only security he had as a child. Even though he could afford to build something new, he stays but when his sister starts pressuring him to "sell the dump" and move on, he consults Harper about finding him a new place. Working together, he sees that her gorgeous, completely put together look hides a down-to-earth, kind, generous woman. Can he get past his own trust issues and Harper's to create something special with her?

On paper, Harper and Rusty couldn't be more different. She wears designer everything, and is always perfectly turned out. Rusty is likely to be covered in grease, and is a hairy, unkempt mess. She sells high-end real estate. He lives in a house with a hole in the living room floor where the wood rotted. When she offers Rusty a "make-over" so that he will feel more comfortable participating in her charity bachelor auction, will she see that their friendship has possibilities neither of them has really considered?

I loved Rusty and Harper's story! They each had some pretty heavy baggage they were toting, and each was wary of trusting again. I liked that Harper was willing to look past Rusty's grease-stained, ill-fitting clothes to see his kind, bruised heart. I also loved Rusty's grandpa, Senior. He was a hoot, and so very wise when it came to dealing with Rusty's fear of relationships.

Readers who love sweet, contemporary romance will enjoy Sold On Love. I'm really hoping this isn't my last trip to Maple Falls!

This is a cute romantic book. I love this series and the setting of these books. Maple Falls is a charming, picturesque town. Harper is a realtor who continues to have issues with her car. Those issues lead her to the town mechanic, Rusty. They start out as friends, but grow closer as they spend time together. Rusty agrees to be in a bachelor auction and that Harper can give him a makeover. I loved reading this book and look forward to more books from this author. I highly recommend this book and know you will not be disappointed!
***I was given a free electronic copy of this book from the publisher. This is my honest opinion. Even though I received this copy free, this is my own opinion.

Sold on Love is in Kathleen Fuller's Maple Falls series but can be read as a stand-alone novel. This is a great light and beachy read. The faith aspects are interwoven in really well without being too preachy and the characters are enjoyable. It's a very sweet book that will leave you feeling warm and fuzzy inside once you are done. Readers of contemporary romance novels and/or Hallmark romance movies will love this one.

A great conclusion to this series. Harper and Rusty are probably my favorite in the series. Ok, Rusty is my favorite. Haha. Such a gentleman who is loyal above everything. I love his values, what he stands for, and how his integrity defines him. Harper has been fun to get to know superficially, and even in this book, it takes some time to peel back her layers. Kathleen Fuller has a way of writing humor in her characters and draws them out, in spite of themselves. I thought Harper and Rusty together had perfect chemistry and brought a great balance to each other. I love the tension and the comedy relief of Senior was priceless! Highly recommend this one if you have been following the series. You can certainly enjoy as a standalone, but so much more enjoyable when you know all the characters.
I received a complimentary copy from the publisher via NetGalley and all opinions expressed are solely my own.

This book had it all and was so enjoyable. In the age of Hallmark-like endings this one provided some much needed suspense and frustration that mirrored real life so much in the conflicts. The character development was so good as it moved between characters in chapters. I was glad to see such a robust amount of depth to them while also providing conflict and resolution that mimicked more real life than fiction. I highly recommend Sold on Love as it was truly enjoyable and a great fiction read without all the uncomfortableness of current "romance" novels.

This is a GREAT story about love and forgiveness. Kathleen does an incredible job at developing an emotional tie to the characters…you must keep reading until you find out what happens! I sense a potential “series” coming and I can’t wait! Definitely grab this sweet book if you are looking for an easy read with an addictive story line!!

I love this series more with each new book! Harper and Rusty were the perfect combination of rough and sweet. My only criticism is that the ending felt a little rushed. While the other books followed a pattern of ending in a proposal, and the wedding at the beginning of the next book, this one broke that mold. I would have loved one or two more chapters to see Harper and Rusty's married life play out a little more.

Enjoyable book set in small town Maple Falls - two opposites attract. This book was a nice light book that you can't help but fall in love with the characters. Harper a real estate agent who has been facing some hard times needs Rusty to help with her with car repairs...and when Rusty is an a charity auction and needs to clean up - Harper is the girl for the job. This was a fun book - totally recommend. Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for an opportunity to read this book. All thoughts are my own.

This is the next book in the Maple Falls romance series by Kathleen Fuller. Just like the others, this is a great book, not too heavy on the romance, Christian themes, but not too heavy-leaning in that department, either. A great book to give to someone who is looking for a light read that they can easily dive right into.

Harper Willson was always interested in fashion as her job as a realtor always required her to be presented to perfection. While she tries to save money to open a new realtor office in Maple Falls her car seems to have another idea. It seems that her dream Mercedes always needs some new parts and low sales become a problem. Rusty, Maple Falls mechanic has always been smitten with Harper, but a girl like her would never want to date a guy like him, right? Yet both aren´t so different, both have relationship issues as both were disappointed by people they should have loved at some point. Not only do Harper and Rusty become friends but when she approaches him to participate in a bachelor auction for charity and convinces him to do a makeover she suddenly discovers, that not only is he very gentlemanly, but he is kind of hot. Both of them feel the sparkles flying but their past issues suddenly start to surface. Can they overcome all their anxiety problems and become an item? I loved this book, it was a clean romance with a small town flair, I loved the writing as Kathleen Fuller has an amazing way with words.

She’s a high-fashion realtor; he’s a low-maintenance mechanic. What on earth could they have in common?

Dressed in designer labels and cruising around town in her red Mercedes, workaholic realtor Harper Wilson presents the picture of success in charming Maple Falls. But Harper’s carefully cultivated image is resting on a shaky foundation. With a sudden drought in sales, she’s starting to see her professional dreams—along with her posh lifestyle—slipping away.

Car trouble brings her to mechanic Rusty Jenkins, and their unlikely friendship is taken to the next level when the laid-back Rusty allows her to give him a makeover for a charity bachelor auction. Harper soon discovers that beneath the town mechanic’s wild beard and grease-stained clothing lies a true Southern gentleman—someone with a kind heart and dreams of his own. Their chemistry is undeniable, but as they get closer, past fears and relationships start to creep in, reminding them of just how much is at stake when carefully constructed facades fall apart.

Maybe their worlds aren’t so separate after all. And maybe covering up who you really are keeps you from discovering what was always meant to be.

Lovely, wholesome, opposites attract story set in the small town of Maple Falls. The main character's parents even get quite a storyline with their marriage woes. Releasing the expectations of others and the facade we hide behind reveals who we really are and what we really want. Beautifully illustrates the importance of family and friends.

This is a small town romance with two main characters. Follow their story along the way.. Part of a series but can easily be read as a standalone. 5 stars.

Thanks to Netgalley and publisher for this ARC

Sold On Love by Kathleen Fuller is a cute contemporary romance and my favorite book in the Maple Falls series so far. I enjoyed the dynamic between Harper and Rusty. He brings out her chill while she pushes him to step outside his comfort zone. There was a secondary storyline involving Harper’s parents that I didn’t enjoy quite as much; however, overall I thought this book was cute and enjoyed the opportunity to return to Maple Falls.

*Thank you to Kathleen Fuller, Thomas Nelson, and Netgalley for an e-ARC of this book. All opinions are my own.

I was “sold” for “Sold on Love” by Kathleen Fuller. This is the third book in the Maple Falls Romance series and my favorite so far! As usual, Ms. Fuller’s covers are beautiful. We get to see some old friends and make some new ones too. Harper is a high powered real estate agent and Rusty is a casual, small town mechanic. They are totally in the friend zone, with Rusty helping Harper with her car and Harper giving him a makeover.
Both Harper and Rusty have had obstacles in their past. They leaned on each other to get through their issues. The life lesson I took from this was that you have to be comfortable in your own skin before you can be a good companion for someone else. I’m looking forward to Olivia’s story next. There are two potential love interests and I can’t wait to see what happens. This can be read as a stand alone novel, but I suggest reading the series in order. I want to thank the author, Thomas Nelson- Fiction and NetGalley for a complimentary copy of the book. The opinions expressed in this review are entirely my own. #SoldonLove #NetGalley

Sold on Love by Kathleen Fuller is the third book in her Maple Falls contemporary romance series.

This series is delightfully fun, sweet, and romantic. After watching two of the four girl friends find their happily-ever-after, I couldn’t wait to read Harper’s story.

Rusty is an all-around sweet guy and I loved watching how he cared for Harper as her world crumbled around her. He was so sweet that I had a hard time reading when he was wounded and struggling at varying points in the story.

We also got to see Harper’s mom’s story. It’s not as easy of a read, but I liked how it filled in the struggles Harper faced. And, watching Harper’s story unfold made the ending very sweet indeed.

If you’re looking for a contemporary romance, definitely check out this one. I’m hoping there’ll be a book four in the series because I’m not ready to leave Maple Falls or Harper and her friends.

I love books about small town life where everyone knows each other and all their business. Harper has this treasure but she's afraid to show her friends and family that things are crumbling around her on many levels. The easiest problem to fix is her car. Rusty, her mechanic, works to figure out her car troubles and, in the process, becomes a friend. Rusty has his own issues and seems resigned to being on his own. His interactions with Harper, though, continually surprise him and awaken a longing in him. It didn't feel rushed or contrived. I loved Harper and Rusty. I love when people can see beneath the exterior to what really makes a person special.

There's a lot of personal growth in this book. There are second chances and forgiveness, reformed ways. It highlights the value of knowing and being known. It's a beautiful book of imperfect, loving relationships. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Thank you to Thomas Nelson for providing me with a free e-copy of this book. All opinions are my own.

This was my first story by Kathleen Fuller. She has such cute covers on her books. I was so excited to finally have a chance to read one of her stories. I enjoy opposites attract stories. I read this as a standalone story, but I can see how reading the series in order would add a lot to the overall reading experience.

It took me a little bit to get started, but the momentum got going and it ends strong! Rusty is such a sweet and often overlooked hero. I felt that his southern charm and true gentlemanly ways were wonderful, but his grammar may have dumbed him down a bit for part of the story.

I enjoyed more than one storyline happening in Sold On Love, Harper Wilson and Rusty Jenkins, Harper's parents, and Rusty's delightful Grandpa, in addition to the gift of friendship for both Harper and her Mom.

Fans of Kathleen Fuller are sure to enjoy this contemporary romance set in a small town.

Thank you to the publisher and net galley for allowing me to read an early copy. All opinions are my own.

A lighthearted rom com with a My Fair Lady twist.

I was drawn to the Maple Falls series because it is set in my home state, Arkansas, and there aren’t a ton of books set here. I also love small town settings. So while contemporary romance isn’t really my cup of tea, I’ve given these books a try. Overall, I thought it was a nice book, even if it wasn’t the perfect read for me.

Rusty will definitely steal the show for a lot of readers. He is very gentlemanly and is always polite to not only Harper, but to everyone that he comes into contact with. I liked this about him. What I didn’t care for was the way in which he was sometimes portrayed. The southern drawl is laid on very thick and it sometimes felt like he was being cast as…not very smart. I get that he’s supposed to be Harper’s opposite, but I wished he hadn’t come across as such a bumpkin. For instance, there is a scene in which he and Harper are star gazing and he points out different constellations to her, showing that he is a thoughtful person. If there had been more of this, I think I would have liked the character more.

Harper was a little difficult for me to like, as well. As the synopsis suggests, she is very superficial. There are moments when she is vulnerable and we see a different side to her; one that likes to bake and hang out at home in her pajamas. But there didn’t seem to be enough depth to this character and I just couldn’t connect with her.

There is a subplot to this book referring to Harper’s parents’ shaky marriage. I really didn’t care for this; neither her mom or her dad were likable enough for me to really care about their story and it didn’t add anything to the book in my opinion.

I did like the setting of the book. It’s cozy and sweet, even if it is a bit idealized. Maple Falls sounds like a charming place to visit, especially in the fall, which is the time of year in which this book takes place.

I think those who love a good rom com with small town settings will definitely want to read Sold on Love.
