Quick and enjoyable, read this in one sitting. Not much else to say. I greatly enjoyed the atmosphere and despite it being a mystery thriller I felt really cozy while reading this.

I read A Christmas Candy Killing as soon as I received the book. I knew it was going to be a great cozy mystery, and I was correct.

The author has weaved enough twists and turns to keep you guessing until the very end.

The characters are well-crafted and you feel as if you personally know them.

In this story, we find identical twins Alex and Hannah are busy with their mystery bookshop and their famous poison-themed killer chocolates. That is until the local sheriff zeroes in on Alex as a suspect in the death of one of her neighbors. Jane had just shared with the town gossip that a murderer from a true-crime show was living in the village. When Jane visits to watch the show she finds instead the dead body with a box of her chocolates nearby.

Even though there is another suspect Jane wants to make sure she is taken off that list so she decides to take matters into her own hands and investigate. Things get dicey and if she does not find the killer soon she may be the next victim.
