A great cute rhyming book about God's love and His Word. A book written for young kids on how to love God's Word. I love that this book can be read for multiple ages. For younger kids, you can read just the author's words, but for older kids, you read the Scriptures that are written on the pages and/or look up the Scriptures mentioned.

I received an eARC of this book from the publisher via NetGalley. All opinions expressed in this review are my own.

My children and I loved this adorable book. The content was wonderful and the illustrations were so charming. I don't know that this is a book we would read over and over again, but it was great for an occasional read through. I'd love to see more books from the author.

This picture book is a great tool to use in family discipleship for multiple age groups and if you are a homeschool family then add this to your morning baskets! Hunter Beless has written this book with a fun rhythmic feel and it is helpful in the process of teaching children how important and how much of a gift it is to hide the Scriptures in our hearts. Children in their preschool years will enjoy this picture book because of the beautiful and vibrant illustrations that have plenty of fun things to point to and ask questions about. Children in the elementary years can read along and find the scriptures that are written on each page and practice finding Scripture in their own Bible. I love how there are some verses typed out and you can read them right along with the story and then there are other verses that are just the Bible references placed in various places on each page. This makes it easy to adapt the book for multiple age groups where the older children listening can use their Bible to add to the reading time together.
I love this book and it's easily one to read time and time again. There is also a parent connection section in the back of the book that helps guide the family in the read it, see it, say it, sing it method. This is a great addition to any home library and would make a great gift as well.

Hunter Beless’ Read It, See It, Say It, Sing It: Knowing and Loving the Bible is a new favorite book of mine to teach kids the basics of the Bible. Read It, See It, Say It, Sing It: Knowing and Loving the Bible is a great introduction to teach kids and families the basics of God’s Word, why we need the Word and how to apply it in our daily lives. Read It, See It, Say It, Sing It is full of Bible verses to use in various situations and shows how having His Word changes our life.

As someone who works in Ministry, primarily with Children, I am always on the lookout for resources that are geared toward children that is easy for them to understand and is Biblically sound and I believe Read It, See It, Say It, Sing It: Knowing and Loving the Bible fits the bill. I love that there are so many Bible verses included within the pages of the book. I love the various scenarios that Read It, See It, Say It, Sing It gives on how you can apply God’s Word through out the day and in different ways–reading it, seeing it, saying it, and singing it. I love that it explains who Jesus is and why He came. I love how it explains sin and why we need Jesus. But most of all, I love how it teaches young ones to hunger for God’s Word and encourages them to incorporate it into their daily lives.

Read It, See It, Say It, Sing It: Knowing and Loving the Bible is beautifully illustrated and written so that children can understand and enjoy reading it. I love the “Parent Connection” section helps guide parents and families to apply what they had just read to their lives. I love Ms. Beless’ heart for writing this and am grateful that she wrote this book. I also love how Ms. Beless backed up everything she wrote with Scripture. I am looking forward to purchasing copies of Read It, See It, Say It, Sing It and sharing this book with those I know. If you are looking for a book to help teach the kids in your life about the Bible and how to apply it to their life that’s Biblically sound, then I highly recommend Read It, See It, Say It, Sing It: Knowing and Loving the Bible.

I would like to thank NetGalley and the Publisher for the opportunity to read this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own. My review is also on Goodreads and my blog, Leslie's Library Escape.

This is a beautiful book. "Read it, See it, Say it, Sing it" is a perfect way to show children what the Bible is and the different ways we use it to understand and worship God. This is a great book for children of any age and I especially think it would be a great gift for baby showers, or birthdays. The art in this book is gorgeous with diverse characters that show all the different kinds of people God created and loves. I highly recommend.

This book has a fun rhyming text that shows how important it is to know God's Word. It has beautiful pictures of four families who interact with God's word together. In the back of the book, there is a page for parents that shows how you can use the read, see, say, and sing method to help children learn or memorize the Word. I think it would have been nice to see that at the front of the book so it would make more sense why those four words are repeated throughout the book. I didn't understand that it was meant to help kids memorize until I read this at the back.

For me, the strength of the book was the rhyming text that presented the gospel in short bites. "But God forgives us when we turn from our sin, because Jesus lived, died, and then rose again" (location 57). It would be easy to take these and have a young child learn these truths. I look forward to reading this with my grandchildren.

I liked the book as a way to highlight the Bible as the Word of God and its importance in our lives to young children. I didn't think it was as helpful in teaching a method. If that were the focus, I would have wanted to see a song for the verses included or actions for the verses like the one example in the back rather than just a paragraph saying you could do make up a song, for instance.

Thank you to B&H Kids for providing me with a free e-copy of this book. All opinions are my own.

*I would recommend buying a print copy of this book so it's easier to follow the flow than it is on a kindle.

This book is a great resource to encourage others to teach their little ones to say and sing scripture. The verses are great and the illustrations are adorable. I recommend this book to all Christian parents.

A rhyming picture book for kids on what the Bible is, and why we read the Bible, memorize it, sing it, and do what it says as Christ followers.

I had to read through this twice. The layout as it currently is, suffers a little from too much going on. The pages have not only the text, but Scripture passages that back up what the text is saying about dwelling on God’s word. Which is great. I love the heart. But if you try to read it all at once, it breaks up the flow of the text, it is easy to lose the train of thought, and it feels a little jolting to jump back into the rhyming text. I recommend reading it through once and just focusing on the rhyming text, then go back through and look at the Scripture references separately. (I kind of wish the designers had just listed references, and typed out the full verses in the back to cut down on the distractions. I will be recommending this be changed before publication, but it may be too late.) A good resource for Christian families, schools, and Sunday schools.

I received an ARC of this title from the publisher through NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

This is a beautiful book that’ll be added to my home library. It tells young children in an easy to understand way what God’s word is, and it gives four easy steps on what to do with the word as you read it. I liked the deeper page at the end for parents/caregivers/teachers, too. That practically shows how this method is to work.

Cute devotional for kids to learn scripture! The concept is good for littles so they can learn it, and the pictures are super cute.

Read it, see it, say it, sing it! A cute book explaining the importance of verse memorization in a family. While the book expounds on the "why we do what we do" in reading, repeating and singing God's word, it was not what I imagined, especially given the stellar reviews. There are some verses sprinkled on every other page, but they appear more as part of the drawing than part of the idea of how the book should be used. I truly imagined a book of verses for young beginners and concepts on reading, seeing, saying and singing - or ideas to memorize those verses! What was presented was a nursery rhyme book of "this is what we do so we know more about the Lord". While theologically true, I don't believe parents of young ones need to spend as much time explaining and rehashing what is to be done, as much as they need help knowing *how* it should be done.

Hunter does a wonderful job of introducing scripture memorization tools to families and children. The illustrations are beautiful and the text is engaging. I would happily recommend this book or buy it for friends. I read this as an advanced copy to review through NetGalley but will be purchasing this book for our family.

This children's picture book encourages children to consider how the bible and God's messages can be read. seen. said or sung throughout the day. There are several quotes from the bible as well as shore sentences and beautiful, detailed pictures to help illustrate the messages the author is trying to share.

I think this book would be perfect for a religious family or as a gift at a baptism or other religious holiday. I could see children ages 3-9 or so enjoying this story.

Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for the opportunity to read and review this book.

I had such high hopes for this book. Working in a faith-based weekday program, our goal is to have children learn about who God is and what He has done. We memorize scripture, planting seeds that will stay with them, so this concept is not new to me. There is much power in layering God's word so that it takes root in children's (and our) hearts.
I was hoping that this book would take several different scriptures and offer specific examples on how to read it, see it, say it, sing it. That is not what this book does at all. There is ONE scripture that is referenced. That's it. There are no suggestions on how to "say it" in a variety of ways that will help God's word stick in the minds of a child.
Instead, this book is a lovely poem on WHY it is important to hide God's word in your heart without any of the practical tips on HOW to accomplish it. The pictures are whimsical and the text is lyrical. It is a nice read. It is a great gift for a new mom (in fact, I'm thinking of one I will purchase it for) or a children's director.

I received a dARC from the publisher via Netgalley; this is my honest review.

Back of the Book: “Have you heard of the special book God gave to us? If not, this is something that we should discuss! This book is the Bible. It’s timeless and true. It’s God’s written Word—both for me and for you.
In Hunter Beless’s delightful, rhyming picture book, Read It, See It, Say It, Sing It!, four families grow in their knowledge of and love for the Bible as they Read, or hear the Bible, See, or regularly read Scripture, Say, or memorize and talk about the Bible, and Sing, or worship God and remember Scripture together.

A parent connection explaining the Scripture memorization method is included in the back of the book.”
Impressions: This was a bright and colorful book with a great message. Unfortunately I found the illustrations to be over stimulating and distracting, ultimately taking away from the message. Although the illustrations and words outside of the text were meant to be examples to the story I felt they confused the story. I did think the message of putting Gods words in our hearts and why this is important is important. I am working on teaching my own boys this very thing right now. I liked the creative strategies to help make this concept become a reality.
