Many Thanks to the author and Netgalley for allowing me to read this book before being published in exchange for an honest review.

A nice romantic novel about Gemma being left at the altar on her wedding day. She knows that something is not normal, so she asks the police to investigate but everything shows that Finn has left voluntarily. Throughout the book she does not give up, there are different clues that tell her that he hasn´t left for Australia like when they first met. But he even took the money they put for the deposit of the house they never bought from their bank account. So when her dad tells her a story about him going to the graveyard to meet him and his former wife to ask for her hand, and then her daughter´s friend receives a rabbit as a present for the wedding that never happened, something does not look right.
So she starts to make some phone calls and try to discover what has really happened.
Will she be on time? Will she really find him?
I would recommend it to everybody who likes Mystery and romance. I did really feel for poor Gemma.

Another great book by Dani Atkins. I have read some of her previous stories and really enjoyed them - this one didn't disappoint either! It follows the story of Gemma and her fiance, Finn, who doesn't turn up at the church on their wedding day. Where everyone else is convinced that he has done a runner - after all, he does have previous form on this front - Gemma is convinced that something has happened to him. But can she manage to convince others, including the police, to investigate his disappearance? Nicely interwoven with the history of how they met and their story so far, I was intrigued as to how this was going to end and was kept guessing.

I would highly recommend this book - a lovely read.

Thank you to Net Galley and the publishers for allowing me to read this in exchange for an honest review, which is what I have given.

I absolutely adored this novel. Not your typical romance and it is definitely deserving of the 4.3 average rating it currently has on GoodReads. I was very quick to recommend this one to my fellow romance and contemp readers, as well as people new to these genres.

I was drawn in to the story and attached to the characters from the get go. Atkins has a style of writing that makes you feel for and comfort the characters. So many aspects of this book will hit so close to home for some so I would recommend checking the content warnings on this one. I appreciate how likeable the characters were, and how readable the story and writing was. I loved how different this one to your standard romance, I'd say it read more of a contemporary for a lot of the book, but I adored the flashbacks we got.

So heart-wrenching and addictive, I read this in two sittings. I smiled, cried, wanted to throw the book at times. Highly recommend this one.

Thank you so much to NetGalley and Head of Zeus for a copy of this eARC, adored this one.

This is a gripping and engaging story of Gemma, whose fiancé Finn doesn't turn up on the day of their wedding. It's a trope I've seen done before but I really loved following Gemma and finding out where Finn really went to. It's heart warming and heart breaking all in one.

This was an emotional rollercoaster of a book. I raced through the last 20% of the book in desperation to see whether or not Finn made it out of his tricky situation. This book was so cleverly written, flipping back and forth in time to keep the audience waiting for more of the present time story whilst playing with our emotions by giving little hints that it may or may not be a happy ending. A great (if not draining) read. Thanks netgalley

Six Days by @daniatkinsauthor another NetGalley read. I’m not going to say to much about this book, because I don’t want to give anything away and it’s one of those books that you definitely don’t want any spoilers. Briefly though it’s about Gemma and Finn, fate and destiny runs right through this romantic love story, a love so incredibly strong it can get them through anything. I read books by this author before and am a fan, however this one is a grower. In many ways Gemma comes across as very naive but this character has strength and determination, her love for Finn despite many things is meant to be, there’s beauty in there love for one another. The kind of love they have together is that of those couples you hear that, when one dies the other passes soon after of a broken heart, this is Gemma and Finn. Finn at the beginning is harder to get a handle on, he seems at times hesitant and unsure and is dealing with a lot mentally from things that happened to him as a child. However there’s a huge wow moment, which takes this slow burner of a book, into something you never want to end. A wow moment that for me comes far to near the end of the book, which ends with me wanting to ask so many questions about what happens next. The wow moment for me is what turned this book around, it was slow paced and seemed to go on and on without really not getting anywhere but then the author hits you with the twist and turns this book and it’s love story into something worthy of a book hangover, a story you will remember and one without a shadow of a donut be recommending. I have to say this is probably the best one of Dani Atkins books that I’ve read. I’m going to give it four stars and purely not five because of the slow burner of a beginning. If you are reading this or are going to read this and find the beginning slow, don’t whatever you do put it down and dismiss it, I have no doubt that you will enjoy it as much as I did. I can’t wait to see what the author writes next. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I adored Fractured by this author so when I saw this was available to request I had to have it and I was not disappointed.

This is such a fabulous book that grips you from the first page. I desperately needed to know where Finn was.

The story focuses on Gemma who is excited for her wedding to the love of her life Finn but unfortunately he doesn't turn up on the day. The book then delves into the life of Finn and you begin to wonder what has happened to him. Did he really leave Gemma at the altar?

You will be hooked when you start reading this so make sure you have plenty of spare time to finish it!

I read this book in one day as I just needed to find out what had happened to Finn. There were times that my theories were as outlandish as Gemma's 3am ones must have been but I was actually pleasantly surprised that it didn't turn out the way I thought it would. The sudden cut to Finn's present day point of view was a really good way to start to reveal the real circumstances of Finn's disappearance. I liked Gemma's strong belief and the flashbacks to how they met were well done and I appreciated the fact that it was clear in the chapter headings.
I found the ending a bit blunt and was hoping for an epilogue, the story didn't need one, I think I had just rushed to the end and wasn't ready to let go yet.
Overall a really good read, I'll definitely be reading more from Dani Atkins in future.

Thanks to Head of Zeus and NetGalley for the ARC.

I am a huge fan of Dani Atkin's books and really enjoyed reading Six Days. I felt Gemma's pain yet I didn't feel the raw emotion that normally comes through in Dani's books that normally have me in tears.
More of a mystery than a tear-jerker but still a good read!
