This book was a book I couldn't put down! All the tense moments and wondering what was going to happen next kept me reading up past my bedtime! Thrillers are some of my favourite books, and this one did not disappoint

This book is well written and has some good twists and turns. It is suspenseful in places. The middle portion was slow and dragged a bit. The ending was fast paced and chilling

I'm new to the author and am unsure whether I will seek out more books in the future based on this one. I liked the premise and it's by no means a bad read but I felt that the pacing was quite slow for a thriller and I didn't connect very well with most of the characters, including Sarah. It's an easy read though.

I received this book from Netgalley for an honest review. This book was just okay. Definitely not one of the Karen McQuestion books that I usually love. It was a boring, predictable story and I did not like the narrator. There are much better Karen McQuestion books to choose from and I will still add her next book to my to-read list! I just didn't care for this one.

A good psychological thriller but with a few negatives. I liked the way it was written, I like reading past/present narratives. The ending felt quite drawn out. Although I liked the story and characters overall, I felt something was missing but I do admit that thrillers take a lot for me to be shocked and this one had a few predictable moments. Thanks so much for the ARC!

214 Palmer Street was certainly nothing like I expected. I expected a kind of Woman in the Window mystery, but the book is much more layered. I liked the concept and was especially intrigued by Sarah's mission to figure out her past. Not a lot happens for a big part of the novel, so I felt like pacing was off. The ending picked up and I felt myself reading until late to finish the book. I actually prefer McQuestion's romances, but I'm still a fan. 3.5 out of 5 stars.

Sarah Aden has a beautiful home and a loving husband. Her life seems almost perfect. But, after she is attacked in her own backyard she begins to question what she believes and what she actually knows.

214 Palmer Street moves back and forth from past to present and as the story unfolds it becomes apparent that there are secrets that some people want to stay buried. I enjoyed the story but there were times that it seemed to drag out a little too much. The characters were somewhat lackluster and there was some predictability as well.

This is a good book for a road trip or a day by the pool. It’s an easy read and as long as there is a certain amount of acceptance as to why the characters respond the way they do the book is entertaining.

Many thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for providing a copy of this book for review.

The blurb on the back was a bit misleading. I didn’t really connect well with the characters. The ending was great though.

Arrrrrhhh I hate to say it but the only feeling those book left me with was disappointment 😥

I went into this one with high hopes..
Great stand out cover ✔
Gripping blurb ✔

BUT sadly there were too many negatives for me to actually enjoy the book.

The plot was predictable, the clues were literally placed in front of me instead of being woven in with more complexity and the characters just didn't have any depth to them.

Sadly it just didn't hit the high notes for me.

With thanks to netgalley and Bookouture for the ARC.

This was a bit of strange read. Not sure what to make of it still. It was good but also not so good at the same time. It had good moments.

This was an entertaining book and I was curious about how everything would play out but I did feel as though none of the characters were likeable and the storyline was pretty predictable. If you are newer to the thriller genre, you may like this one.

A great story to begin with an interesting plot which unfortunately loses its way half way through becoming quite unrealistic with the final few chapters unnecessary. It’s a shame as was a great plot but found myself skimming until the end

I love Karen mcquestion so I think I expected too much from her with this one. I loved the plot but it felt a little too easy. The hit my head and everyone thinks I’m crazy doesn’t vibe well with me. I think it could have been played out a little better but overall a mid level read suspense. Thank you for my copy!

Does the book sound interesting? (It sure does.) Is it actually? (Not really.)

This for sure is a fast read, something to enjoy on the beach or at the park. But if you expect it to be like "Girl on the train" then don't bother, because it's not. You're introduced to 4 characters and after 15 pages you already know who's fault it is (It's not actually written, but you know that you know). And I just couldn't wait for the book to end just so I could say, that I finally figured out the storyline before the book characters. Felt like I've written that book myself, just how not surprised about the plot I was.

Very disappointed. :(

I love reading psychological thrillers and this was a great, intriguing mystery. There were some loopholes in the narrative at the start but the end made up for it.
If psych thrillers are your thing, go for it. The mystery will keep you guessing.

First book I have read from this author and it was a blast lots of twist and turns that left me guessing some were a little predictable but still did not stop me from enjoying the book … it kept me page turning to see if I was right. A great summer read for the beach or at home but make sure you pack more books as this won’t take you long to read I devoured the book way to quickly and looking for more by the author as we speak.

Thanks NetGalley, Karen McQuestion and Bookouture for an Arc to review.
After being attacked in her own home Sarah begins digging to reveal shocking truths.
An engaging full of twists book.
Loved it

I found 214 Palmer Street to be a bit predictable but still enjoyable! It felt slow in some parts- enough for me to be ready for the ending to wrap up. I did enjoy the tension and suspense in this book and I would definitely give another book by this author a try!
