Like many people during the pandemic I ended up sitting for long periods. I then started having lower back pain and I could feel that my muscles in my core and back were weakened. I have been going to chiro and physio and have been working on exercises and stretches. This book provides some useful stretches etc and details how the body all works in tandem. I have started doing some of the exercises mentioned in the book. A lot of the book is about what to do to avoid problems later in life which is obviously very important. Overall I found this book useful and interesting and a great resource.

Sit Up Straight has the answers to questions you've always asked about posture and pain, and even answers to things you didn't know you wondered about!

I really enjoyed this book. After the pandemic, posture has become really important to me. I valued this book for its insights.

Thank you to the publisher and to NetGalley for this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

What makes Sit Up Straight different is that it feels like a manual. It has a step by step breakdown with pictures of different exercises/stretches that will help with your specific back issues. I have implemented some of these movements into my daily life and have noticed an improvement already in some of the pain I have been experiencing in my back.
